I was randomly craving a simple pasta for lunch today at work, so I called in to see if they could do pasta with pink sauce and chicken. The girl who helped me out over the phone today was so kind and patient with my questions and when I picked up the food, the gentleman running the bar was slammed and still took the time to be so kind and apologized for the wait (which was like 5 seconds anyway). I took the first bite of the pasta and nearly screamed; it was D E L I C I O U S. Exactly what I needed today. I've been a regular customer for nearly 10 years. They make the best pizza and Italian dishes in Orange County. The design is nice, the team is friendly, and the service is clean. Everything is top-notch. My only sincere recommendation is regarding the 3% fee for paying with a credit card. For a high-quality restaurant like this, it doesn't reflect their level of vision and professionalism. I would be more than happy to pay 5% more if they just included it in their menu prices, as almost everyone pays with a credit card anyway. Was able to put my name on the waitlist and was told that a table would be available in 15 minutes or sooner. Wait wasn't as bad especially during the holiday shopping season and with lots of parties going on. It was extremely packed with people and very loud. Came back in 15 minutes and was immediately seated. Ordered a meats pizza and arugula salad and a cheese pizza for my kid. They serve complimentary bread with olive oil. Bread was delicious. Everything tastes great except considering that it was a wood fire pizza that the crust and especially the bottom of the pizza was extremely burnt. That was the only downside. Quattro has become a weekly restaurant for my girlfriend and I. Bou Bou is the absolute best - if you know, you know. In fact, the entire staff is extremely personable, friendly, and accommodating. The ambiance inside is a bit loud but they're always busy. Which means the food is incredible. Their drinks are even better. Quattro martini is the way to go and Bou Bou always greets us with our favorite drinks. Their salads are great, pasta and pizza are fabulous. Bartenders, especially Ana, are fabulous. 110% recommend. Such an amazing experience! The food was great, the level of service was phenomenal (shoutout to our server Pascual), and the price point was reasonable. I appreciated that even though the restaurant is situated inside the mall, they still went above and beyond to provide an intimate space -- the white linens are a huge addition. Our sever was extremely attentive and had excellent suggestions. After a long day of traveling and then having to do some shopping, coming to a restaurant where the server has a great attitude, is happy to answer questions, make suggestions, and tend special requests, it goes a long way. Quattro cafe gives you the perfect amount of squid and batter where I don't feel sick eating too much lol I also ordered the "seafood pasta." A gem inside South Coast Plaza! It's a perfect place to go for a bottle of wine or cocktails with some delicious food prior to shopping. It gets really crowded (on typical non-covid times at least) so I do recommend making reservations. I recently went and took my mom on Mother's Day weekend for lunch and had the pleasure of having Oswaldo as our waiter. He made our experience over the top. He was extremely attentive and very patient. One of the better experiences I've had in a restaurant! The menu has an amazing variety for everyone but I specifically order the spaghetti in a pink sauce every time (not on the menu) and it never disappoints. This review is for the lady bartender. She is super rude and condescending. We stopped by to get an appetizer to go and were waiting at the bar. I am pregnant so was waiting in the seat by the bar. There was no one after us so pretty sure we wasnt taking up the space. After paying, the bartender told us to go stand outside because "she was waiting for other customers." Immediately after we were seated the server took our drink order and a second person showed up shortly afterwards with waters for the table. After answering questions about the menu, our order was taken. I had the fish of the day, halibut. My husband had pasta and meatballs, kids had fettuccine and chicken tenders- both came with ice cream at the end of the meal. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared! My husband and I have been loyal diners at Quattro. We especially have loved the Wise Guy salad. We went today for lunch and I ordered it as usual. When it was delivered i thought that perhaps the server thought I ordered a 1/2 which of course they don't offer . When I asked her about the very small portion she said she would go ask the "chef". When she returned she said that they are now reducing the size of the salad because the "new" chef thought they were too large. So being that it's a $25.00 salad I asked why then is the price still the same. She had no answer but did say that my question made a lot of sense. The salad wasn't even as good under this new chef as it was before. Needless to say we are very disappointed with Quattro and wont be going back any time soon. My wife and I stopped in on Labor Day on a whim. So happy we stopped in! We sat at the counter looking out into the mall. We particularly enjoy sitting there it as we can people watch. We were particularly surprised by the number of people in the mall. Probably people avoiding the heat and paying for their air conditioning!We opened with adult beverages, a Dirty Martini for me a a glass of rosé for my wife. For a starter my wife and I enjoyed their beef carpaccio. So delicious! I do not recall the capers being fried in the past but it added a another layer of texture and flavor! Their coffee is surprisingly good too! It's in a good location within the mall, close to exits for parking and right by the carousel if you have kids. Service has always been excellent every time i've visited. The restaurant is moderately sized so during busy times there may be a short wait time, but the benefit of its location is that you can kill time shopping while you wait. read more

There's usually live music playing on the weekends and safe outdoor seating. I love the chicken carbonara, Marsala and chocolate cake!
