I now see that I should've done my research prior to coming here. When my husband said you want a torta? Immediately a delicious Mexican torta de Pavo popped into my mind. Knowing this location is in this area of Vista and named "Que Tortas" it makes sense I would think it's Mexican food right? I was sadly disappointed when my Turkey Torta came out and I see 2 measly slices of Turkey deli meat sandwiched between 2 thick breads. One slice of tomato, one slice of lettuce, a small smear of avocado. This is not the Mexican torta I imagined. It's more of a deli Turkey sandwich although they have decided to call it a torta. The environment looked clean. We were the only patrons there & the TV was incredibly loud. They have 1 gender neutral bathroom but no baby diaper changing station.

This place is great for both tortas and smoothies. I had a multigreen juice with a pork loin torta which were both great. The first time I came here I had a ham torta and it was so good! The bread is really soft and the chipotle sauce goes well. There's no cheese on them (except for panela which looks good for veg option) but I don't miss it actually. I have also never seen a pear smoothie on a menu so I had to get it last time and wow! It was so delicious and I want to the the grape one next because I've never seen that smoothie flavor before either. I appreciate these and every flavor of smoothie I've tried has been awesome. There's one in Escondido I tried too which was also great! I'll be back for sure.

We were really excited to discover that there was a Que Tortas location in this city. Unfortunately, we did not end up staying due to noticing a couple of major cleanliness issues after placing our order. 1.) No hand soap in the bathroom and a kitchen employee used the bathroom. 2. A cockroach on the booth seat. I will add that staff was friendly.

Very clean, bilingual shop with excellent food! I came here in hopes of finding a good Torta and was not disappointed. The shop itself is very spaced out and clean which is a huge benefit. We ordered 4 Tortas in total and waited close to 10 minutes before our order was ready. I ordered the Que Torta which comes with Pork Loin, Ham and Turkey. At first glance, this wasn't what I thought it'd look like as I grew up on very traditional Tortas but it lived up to my expectation. My first bite was amazing, the bread is so unique! It's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I was blown away by how impressive the bread was. The trio of meats, which is similar to deli meat had a perfect harmony of flavor. The chipotle sauce and jalapeño had the right amount of spice that complimented everything so well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE QUE TORTA! The Tortas are huge! Luckily I came hungry and ate every bite. I loved it and will be back again.

La mejor torta sin cruzar la linea!!! We had a combination torta lomo and ham, fresh fruit salad, carrot, beet, celery and orange juice plus a pineapple agua fresca. Agua fresca means fresh water in Spanish. It is a Mexican tradicion to make these punch like drinks out of fresh fruit just about any fruit can be whipped into an agua fresca. This place makes it right not too sweet so you can taste the fruit. We split the torta and that was the right portion. The bread is beyond perfect...definitely coming back. Very well executed meat and all ingredients in every bite until the last bite. read more

My family & I went here for brunch on a Sunday morning and was blown away by the service! I've been to the Escondido location plenty of times and wanted to introduce my family to the shop. Upon arrival the cashier and gentleman making the smoothies were immediately very accommodating. We ordered a lot of sandwiches so it was hard to keep track but they were kind and veeery patient. After we ordered they brought our smoothies to our table quickly and offered us samples of their juices! Super delicious & the tortas are huge! The store itself is also very clean and fairly new. 10/10 would recommend :) +All natural fruit smoothies & juices +Must order the Que Torta w/ panela cheese +Right next to a bakery the sells the most delicious smelling breads! read more

Seen this place for a while and decided to try it out today. Went in for takeout and ordered a banana smoothie, combination torta and slice of cherry cheesecake. Waited less than 10 minutes for my order which was awesome. The place looks super clean and well kept. My banana smoothie was delicious, once the ice began to melt it did have a bit of a watery taste but nothing to bad. The combination torta I ordered with the jalapeños on the side. The torta is a great size for the price. Bread is light and toasted tastes fresh overall it was delicious. The cherry cheesecake was good it tastes light not super dense. Next time I think I will opt for the regular slice next time the cherries were too sweet for me. Overall I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be coming here more often! read more

Besides the Tortas being good, I was highly disappointed with my Chicken Caesar salad that I ordered to go. When I got home to enjoy my salad it came with a pound of Parmesan cheese they basically poured half a container, and I know we like some cheese but this was over board. I tried mixing it to distribute it but it made it worse. Since I didn't want to throw it away I ended up washing it off. For my first ever experience and ordering a simple salad I don't think I'll be returning there. I understand it wasn't their specialty item, regardless it definitely ruined my lunch. read more

Right off the bat as we walked in we were welcomed with a warm greeting and don't let the outside for you because when we went inside this place it is immaculately clean and very inviting. From the fresh fruit on one side for fresh smoothies, Blended whatever way you prefer to the clean kitchen on the other side making a very tasty torta. Believe me when I say I'll be trying more of their food as well as blends of smoothies. Recommend this place to anyone on a hot or cold day. Thank you to the crew. read more

This was our second visit and this place is soooo freaking good. My boyfriend got the pierna torta and I got the combination torta. I think they may bake their own bread because it was so fresh and tender and perfectly crisp on the outside. One of the best sandwiches we both have ever had. We also got the strawberry, pineapple, & mango smoothie and it was bomb. It had so much fruit in it and tasted so fresh. You can tell that they don't use a lot of ice as "filler" and instead really pack it in with fresh ripe fruit. The service was outstanding!! So welcoming and friendly, he explained to us what was in the sandwich and even offered to shut the doors because we looked cold. You can't beat the food or the service. We will be coming back often! It's definitely worth coming to check out! read more

10/10 recommend for my honey and I. The food is delicious and fresh. I've tried the tortas which the bread is to die for and made fresh on site, juices, fruit salads, açaí bowls, and desserts and all have been so yummy, light and very filling. The environment is very welcoming, clean and laid back. One of my go to places. read more

We tried Que Torta this afternoon for the first time, and we loved it! We got the Ham Torta and a strawberry banana smoothie. The bread does not disappoint, we heard they make it in house!! I came on a Sunday. This place was an amazing hole in the wall find. The music was on point. Staff is very friendly. It was welcoming environment. Fresh juices and smoothies made in front of you. I got a green juice which was phenomenal. I also got a lunch special which came with a half torta and some fresh cut fruit. They sprinkled some tajin on the fruit. I left really satisfied. read more

I was a loyal customer at Que Torta they were amazing when they first opened up! But they are letting making money get in the way of customer satisfaction, they are starting to skimp on portions. They started only putting one slice of ham and one slice of turkey on the torta in a sad attempt to cheat the customer and steal money, they started watering down the aguas frescas to use less fruit. It's sad when businesses start to cheat customers, and then they wonder why people start going to chain restaurants instead of small businesses and then they end up going out of business :/ Well I guess my money will start going back to chick-fil-a. read more

Clean, fast, easy, healthy, & extremely good. The smoothies here are extremely good. They use honey for sweetening. Got a mango and strawberry smoothies. The mango smoothie literally tastes as if your bitting Into one. $5.25 for a small and $5.75 for a large. Kinda pricy but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended. read more

This place has some good tasting food. I had the pork and ham torta. They make their own bread. Awesome taste. The sandwich was plentiful. FRESH. Found this new place by my house and I absolutely loved it. I don't like overly greasy food, and they definitely serve fresh, good food. The bread is made in house and it's soooo good when you first get your food. The flavors of the turkey torta were delicious and the lady at the counter was very nice. Great stuff! We were looking for something different and found it through other reviews here. I've had tortas at taco shops around town, but these are in another league. I had their signature "Que Torta", which has ham, pork and turkey. It reminded me of a really good Cubano, but with chipotle sauce and jalapenos instead of pickles and mustard. Freshly baked bread and fresh ingredients throughout. It was really big, more like a big sub sandwich than the tortas I've had elsewhere. They also feature fresh fruit, juices and smoothies. I tried the horchata and watermelon agua fresca, and they were both fantastic. Highly recommended! I think I'll be coming here any time I'm looking for a sandwich, so much better than the sub places in the area. read more

I stopped in for a Torta today and I'm glad I did! Ordered the House special Que Torta! with pork loin and done Martin's way! Owner Martin was super personable and helpful ...made an amazing Torta on homemade bread baked right there onsite! Soooooo good! Place is super clean and staff are friendly. Wont hesitate to recommend this place looking for a great value, taste and quick service! read more

Additionally, their sushi, smoothie bar and pre-made foods are top notch - they are MILES ahead of any of the "big" grocery stores. So the question is - if they are so great, why do they only have 4 stars on Yelp? One major reason is that they stretch their products. If you don't check the expiration date on every product you purchase, you will end up buying something months after it expired. I purchased a Brie-en-croute on sale for Super Bowl. I was so excited to try it. When I opened the box, the product had mold all over it. I looked at the expiration date and it was not supposed to expire for another week. Then I looked more closely. They had an expiration sticker that was on the box that had already passed, and then they put another sticker on top of that one with a different expiration date. That's not accidental - that's intentional. I definitely felt taken advantage of. Is it enough to make me stop shopping at Frazier Farms? Absolutely not. But, if this grocery outlet wants to improve, they need to look into why so many products on the shelves are expired. I understand not wanting to waste things. But you can't put new stickers on top of old stickers while selling a moldy product. I hope someone in management reads this review, and takes it seriously. I don't have time to go back to Fraziers every time I have to return an expired product. If that changes, I will change this review to 5 stars.

This place is too pricy especially on their drinks but I love love their jugos de mango with pineapple and orange juice in it that its worth my money. Their acais are okay but their Tortas and sandwhiches are good. I don't know the girls name that attends me but every time i go in, shes always so friendly and that counts a lot! read more
