Always excited when my job caters from Francisco's Mexican deli, love the birria both beef and goat and the quesadillas are delicious

Today's specialties. (Feb 2nd) YOU MUST TRY THE QUESOBIRRIAS. To die for.

Oh how I love thee, Francisco, whoever you are. The quesobirrias are TO DIE FOR. No prices listed but I always get good value for what I pay. Fresh made tortillas, really good rellenos, an excellent selection overall and all from a little "hole in the wall" kinda place. Servers are super friendly. A pace you can sit down, too, but we typically do takeout.

AMAZING. This is the go to place after a night out because menudo cures it all and the taste makes you forget all the embarrassing things you did. The salsa isn't watered down like most places. And the tortillas are LIIIIFE. I've also had the birria and although it isn't like my best's home made birria, it's pretty close and still delicious. The exterior looks a bit sketchy, but walk in and be relieved because the ladies are always patient and you see the pot cooking all the good stuff right in front of you. And the prices are very straightforward!

The barbacoa quesa tacos are delicious with the homemade tortillas. It's a little bit pricey but honestly it's worth it.

Everything like the decor, food and especially the customer service was exactly how it was the last time we went, so that in itself was impressive. The employees are so kind and efficient and Trina is the absolute best. Even after not being there in a long time, she remembered us and what we usually order! She is amazing. We ordered our Pho's, Spring rolls and my usual Bun Bo Hue. Every dish continues to be so delicious and full-flavored. Nothing lacking. We also ordered Thai teas which was refreshing and so tasty. It's always a hit when we go. We'll be back!

Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great meal. They even boxed up our leftovers for us which was such a thoughtful touch and treated us with some free desserts since it was a holiday. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a nice ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. We loved the Vietnamese dishes since that's our ethnicity. But it's great that they also offer some Chinese and Thai options on the menu. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful and clearly made with care. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating they were to my mom, who is diabetic. They kindly substituted extra vegetables in place of noodles for her without any issues. We really appreciated their willingness to help and make sure she could enjoy her meal. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and excellent food. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town and can't wait to try more dishes from the menu!

I understand these guys are a chain which makes the amazing eats that much more surprising. dumplings: have had the FRIED PORK BUNS, the SHRIMP and PORK SHUMAI, and the PORK SOUP DUMPLINGS. all were amazing. the SHUMAI were the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot) and ordered them on two of our three visits. dipped everything in Sichuan red chili oil, light soy, and black vinegar mixed at the table from the condiment set-up. the twenty-year boy (man, they grow up fast, don't they?) had the HALF BBQ DUCK was another outstanding dish. moist and flavorful, not the almost duck jerky served at most places. the Sichuan-style HOT BOILED FISH is one of my favorites and I nearly always get it when it shows up on a menu. theirs is a bright, spicy, and well executed. my favorite dish was the EGGPLANT in Sichuan sauce with ground pork. anyway, pretty sure I'm going to be a regular. it's nice not having to drive three-quarters of the way to San Diego when I'm feeling more like Chinese food than Chinese-ish American food.

Service was super friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic, especially the chili. Wow, the chili. Burgers were legit. Double burger was way huge. Chili fries were amazing. Dog melt was surprisingly good. Onion rings and fries were on point. Ranch was a little too funny for me. And to be able to top off the meal with Thrifty's ice cream?! We'll be back. To my surprise Water Shack's burgers were delicious and satisfying that I find myself coming back here ever so often. Their burgers aren't the heavy, greasy/high fat patties you would get from other places. However, their 1/4 lb patties are their smallest patties and heft makes for that ideal bun to burger ratio. Did I need to order double patties on most of my burger orders? Probably not. Their patties are on the leaner side but they aren't dry; and the fixings from any burger you choose will satisfy that meaty burger fix you're looking for. The Chicken Patty Melt is also a very tasty item. Very cheesy, buttery and crispy toasted bread with chicken breast. Their fries and onion rings also come air-fried so this place focuses more on the healthier comfort food options that wont leave you feeling heavy and drowsy. This place is also doubled as a purified water dispensary and also serves baked goods and ice cream. Love this type of no-frills, unassuming place with very friendly staff and serves up some delicious food!
