Andre's Diner serves breakfast only until 11AM. This place is owned and operated by a friendly woman, who does the short order cooking in the kitchen and serves the customers too. This diner has a cozy feel with a few tables and booths and a small C shaped lunch counter and a good sized kitchen area and grill. The walls are painted futia and sea green colors. The menu offers the typical breakfast dishes including 18 kinds of omelettes on the menu and breakfast specials are offered as well. The prices are pretty reasonable, most omelettes priced $5-$7, served with pan fries and toast. I finally dined here for the first time this morning on my way to work. I needed to have a good breakfast, but enjoy it very quickly since I had a long day ahead. There were a few customers already here including a group of City Highway Dept. workers. That's a good sign the food has to be pretty good. I sat up at the counter for prompt service. I was offered coffee ($1.50) which was good and on the strong side. I ordered the top Breakfast Special ($4), which included 2 eggs any style, pan fries or beans, bacon, and toast. I watched my food being cooked to order on grill. The breakfast was solid good and very tasty. The pan fries (fresh cut grilled potatoes) were crispy and browned outside and soft inside. The folded scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy and I put some hot sauce on it for some kick. The bacon strips were crispy, just the way I specified. The wheat toast was already buttered. The service was pretty good and quick. I was offered more coffee, but I needed to boogie and quickly settled up on the tab, $6 even with tax, before tip. In and out in 15 minutes! The Granite Club travelers lounge is for folks who have a membership in other Airlines club/lounge programs - such as United Club. It's a bit odd, there is no one manning a desk to admit folks in. Instead, you pick up a phone on the wall by the door and it allegedly rings somewhere in the Airport back in the administrative offices. The person on the other end will then give you a code to enter into the keypad, which will unlock the door. You enter into a small room with three black cushy chairs and two matching couches, a table with four chairs, a printer, a flat screen HD TV and a vending machine. Down a short hallway is a restroom, a coffee station, and several isolated workstations. It's small, clean, and quiet - I was the only one in the Club during my visit.

It was a good, fast, warm, filling, and delicious dinner. Here's the run down. They're in this mostly-black food truck with Italian trappings--the red/white/green flags, garlic braids hanging around, the aroma of sausages and freshly sautéed vegetables, and a family-run, incredibly friendly vibe. They have both a digital menu (flatscreen on the truck) and a hand-written chalkboard menu out in front of the truck. There are five food options, three drink options (all variations on "water"), and pudding cups for dessert. The food options range from $7-9, the drinks from $1.50-2.50, and the dessert comes in at a flat $3. So, depending on how big of an eater you are, you can have a nice meal between $10 and $20. We grabbed a lasagna and a caprese salad, each taking a can of San Pellegrino sparkling water (flavor options available were lemon-mint, clementine, and sangria orange--I'd guess whatever is normally available from your typical wholesale market). For us, the food came in plastic containers. That was nice because we didn't actually eat right away and yet nothing dried out. We ran into our neighbors who had ordered sandwiches (meatball and garlic bread grilled cheese) and those came in open-faced trays with the checkered paper. All of us enjoyed our meals and walked away satisfied although I did supplement my salad with some popcorn and a movie later... I suppose the salad isn't supposed to be a meal, but I'm always a sucker for a good caprese. Dish highlights and lowlights from the group (as reported, I didn't try everything): The lasagna wasn't pretty. Maybe I didn't carry it nicely, but it was a little bit "unmade" when we opened it up. That didn't stop it from tasting delicious. It was tender and generously flavored. The caprese was fresh, nicely proportioned (I always HATE it when a caprese runs out of something before the end, which didn't happen here), and had a good strong kick to the balsamic. I do wish there was a full meal-sized salad option, but at least it was generous with the cheese and bigger than your standard appetizer. It's good that roomie doesn't like fresh tomatoes, because I was not going to be sharing. The sandwiches both seemed to be made out of the same pre-garlic-bread mini-loaves. The meatball sandwich had 4 meatballs and provolone on the bottom, red sauce on the top. The meatballs were tender and juicy, but it seemed like there was a desire for more cheese. Chen Don, if you're listening, this is a revenue opportunity. Add extra cheese for $0.50 or extra XYZ for $ABC (cheese, additional meatballs, more sauce, peppers, you name it). If this works for you, feel free to thank me with a check--or another free food item. ;) Or just be wildly successful and name your first child after me. Back to the food. The garlic bread grilled cheese seemed to be not as much garlic as desired for this particular garlic lover, although the marinara dipping sauce seemed to be homemade with large chunks of garlic. Again, I'd recommend selling extra sauce and putting that as a recommended menu item. Would I visit them again, if I were paying? Yes, but I'd ask for napkins. If anyone tries the pudding cups, please post a photo. I didn't ask but was wondering if these were something special or just standard wholesale cups from a large pack.

They also operate the Tropical Food Truck which I've seen parked at various locations around Manchester. They offer Puerto Rican and Dominican foods along with sandwiches, fried foods, and pizza. This neighborhood convenience market and kitchen was remodeled in the former 912 Pizza & Market. There are a few tables inside to eat your food. I've ordered takeout from Tropical food to go via ToastTab. On a visit back in September, I ordered the Pernil Sandwich ($10 plus tax), 2 Papa Rellenos ($5 plus tax), a Crab Meat Empanada ($3 plus tax) and a Pepperoni Empanada ($2.25 plus tax). My order was all set in about 20 minutes after placing my takeout order. The 12" Pernil Sandwich (Sub) had plenty of tender & soft pork pieces, lettuce, tomato and Swiss cheese on a soft & chewy sub roll. The papa rellenos (soft fried potato balls) were filled with seasoned ground beef. They threw in an extra papa relleno, 3 total. The empanadas had crispy and flaky pastry shells with the meat fillings. The crab meat empanada could've had more filling inside. On my most recent visit this week, I placed another online order for Tostones (6 for $3 plus tax) and a 3 Topping Pizza ($16 plus tax). However, after I placed my order and took a seat inside to wait for my food, I was informed that they ran out of pizza dough and I could either get refunded for the pizza or order something else. I decided to instead order the Tripleta Sandwich ($12 plus tax), a Beef Empanada ($2.25 plus tax) and a Chicken Empanada ($2.25 plus tax) along with the already ordered Tostones. The transaction was updated on their end and I waited another 15 minutes for my food order. They gave me extra tostones (6 more) for the extra wait. The Tripleta Sandwich was similar to the Pernil Sandwich, but with additional meats, which had tender soft roasted pork (Pernil), ham, pastrami, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo on a soft chewy 12" sub roll. The fried tostones were thin and a bit chewy to eat, but otherwise a great value. The empanadas looked different than the previous visit which were bigger pastry shells (larger disc used) and had more filling with plenty of ground beef and shredded chicken inside each empanada. I say stick with the bigger empanadas. I will continue to order from Tropical Food To Go for takeout since it's along my commuting route from work to the retail area of Manchester. Hopefully, I will be able to order a pizza and mofongo on my next visits.

For food, they offer made to order breakfast and lunch sandwiches, bagels, and baked goods. I've stopped in at Steam Cafe over two visits. Back in February, they just opened with a basic printed menu on the wall behind the counter. I stopped by for a breakfast sandwich on my way out of town. I ordered a Sausage Egg & Cheese on an Everything Bagel ($6.50 plus tax). I already picked up coffee from another place beforehand, but the owner offered me a sample size of their fresh brewed coffee which I got black. Their black coffee was strong and was told that there were no additives or chemicals like the bigger coffee chains use. The breakfast sandwich with egg patty, melted cheese and sausage patty on a toasted chewy everything bagel was very good with their coffee and my larger coffee from the other place (not Dunks). On a recent visit, the place progressed to offering more drinks and food choices and overhead lighted menu screens. I ordered a lunch sandwich and got the Rachel ($10.25 plus tax) which included a bag of Cape Cod potato chips & pickle. The Rachel had roasted turkey, American cheese, thousand island dressing, & cole slaw on slices of sourdough bread, cut in half. This sandwich was a solid choice for a quick lunch. I promised myself that I would try one of their specialty iced drinks on the next visit.

There is no seating inside or outside the shop, even though it has been open for ~8 months. Service was good; the barista was nice. The two lattes we got were very average; not notably bad or good, just very standard drinks. The food we got was a bacon / egg / cheese and an avocado / egg / cheese. Avocado was fresh, the eggs were like a poached store bought frozen / re-heated patty that were not good quality, and the bacon was again pretty standard. Nothing other than the avocado seemed notably great or fresh. For reference, the competition you have right down the road at Buckley's provides many of the same drinks / food of noticeably better quality for the same price.
