This place has a relaxing atmosphere, great food and great service. The manager, Jolene, has made some great Martinis and has done a great job of finding different craft beer to rotate. Contrary to the bad reviews, we had a good experience. The waitress was attentive and returned several times to check on us. Apologized for the wait for a second round of drinks as the place was busy. Food was hot and drink menu was diverse. Food menu was reasonably priced, drinks on the pricier side. Good food. I really enjoyed the cheesesteak sliders. They were pretty small, so this isn't the kind of appetizer you can eat for a meal, but the taste was excellent. I can't imagine myself going here and not adding this on to the order next time. I got the stuffed chipotle burger and was a little surprised. I make stuffed burgers myself and have been to other places that make them, and it's usually the cheese and other toppings are mixed into the burger. Here they cut into the burger and add everything. Even though it was a little different than I had expected, it was still very good. I'm looking forward to trying their stuffed wings on my next trip because they sound so different than anything else around here. read more

My family and I came here. Admittedly we are a large group (8 I think), but it must have just opened and it was completely empty. The waitress and our group were the only ones in the place. The waitress was very nice but it took her forever to just get our drink order. After that, it was ages to just pour a few sodas and beer. Usually, after they bring the drinks out, they'll ask if we want to order. Not with this place. It was another 10 minutes to order the food. I got a Hand Craft Salad with chicken as I'm a picky eater and everything slathered with cheese was not for me. Salad was good but huge. The bill was over $100 for all of us but two or three of us did get craft beers. (I didn't bring my ID but they said it was pretty good.) read more

It was our first time here tonight and it won't be our last. Hubby had the prime rib special with a salad and seasoned fries. It was cooked perfect and melted in your mouth. I was surprised at the portion size. I had the steak and cheese panini, plenty of meat and cheese and the bread was crispy. Ordered hot wings for our app,the sauce is perfect and the wings cooked just right. The blue cheese had huge chunks. Our waitress was amazing, pleasant, helpful, friendly and made sure our dinner was excalty what we wanted, I will ask for Megan every time we come. Best wings I have had so far in NEPA, moved here in October. The hotter sauce offering were lacking heat but were okay. Service was okay not the best but she seemed kind of new. French onion soup can be skipped. Will be heading back there when the need for wings hits us. If the owners read this get a sweet heat or a honey hot sauce in your various wing sauces it would become one of your best sellers and it will sell some extra beer as well. read more

For the record, I've never given a bad review to a place i never even got to eat in. With that said, we were seated & sat there for 20 minutes. Wait staff continuously walked by our table & cleaning empty tables without even stopping to even take JUST a drink order. Prior to my visit, i had heard good things, but i take umbrage with this total lack of service, especially since the place was half empty. I'm laughing out loud as I read the other reviews! Here is out experience. Sat at the bar, waited 15 minutes to get a beer, with 3 bartenders on maybe a 15 person bar. Ordered a sandwich and wings. Waited over 1 hour, and finally asked if she really ordered them. 15 minutes later our food came out. French fries were cold like they were sitting for 2 hours. I order BLT......only thing I could find was bread. My husband ordered HOT wings...he gets some sort of honey wings. We decided to just go somewhere else and eat. Asked for our check....15 minutes later it arrives. Of course, IT"S ALL WRONG! Now the bartender doesn't know how to fix it!! All in all it was a nightmare with crappy food at best! I'm a pretty hard judge, but my husband is worse. This is actually the best place to move into the space. We had omg huge appitizer o pretzel...delicious. I had a stuffed burger...yummy..and cooked to perfection. Fries were great. Hubby had flatbread which he loved(hard to please). No room for dessert. Choice between lunch and brunch menu...brunch looks good, will stop another day. Service was exceptional. I had a coffee/alcohol concoction...but they have lots of great reasons to have brunch since there are 15 morning drinks to choose from :). Food is great! They've got awesome burgers! You can tell they are not just a frozen burger that is thrown on the grill. You get a burger that is the size of the bun, not like other restaurants that give you a burger that is half the size of the bread and fixings. Keep up the good work! read more

My husband and I visited with our kids. While I cannot comment on the beer, the food was not good. My daughter had a kids menu spaghetti - and honestly it was awful. The spaghetti was overcooked and the sauce was not good either. We had an order of wings - which actually were wings and wing parts (not whole wings.) The french fries were overcooked and hard. Went there with my wife and two friends. Someone ordered a speciality salad that included chicken as its main attraction. That person started to eat the salad not realizing there no was chicken on it. The waitress was made aware of the situation and the best they could do for messing up our order was to just deduct the cost of a piece of chicken from the meal. Found a Refer Local deal from this spot. First time here and not a bad experience over all. Clean and nicely decorated. Welcomed and seated promptly. Waitress was nice. Ordered QuesO and chips. Took forever. I think she forgot to put in the order. I have been a server. No worries. They arrived. Not the best I have had, not the worst. My fiance orders the Otown burger. Served with seasoned fries. Good sized and tasty. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. One of my favorite sandwiches, and not on many menus, I was thilled to see it offered. I am sad to report that I was extremely let down. They forgot the pickles, and on a cuban, they are an intrecal part of the recipie. They did bring me some but it is not the same as when they are grilled with the sandwich. With the abundance of meat in the burger that was ordered, I was suprised to see how little meat was on this. I mean it was like they almost forgot the meat too. I almost said something but I wanted to eat and go home. A final note, the men's room was also spotless and nicely decorated. I may be back. I am not a critic nor do I believe in negative reviews, however one very bad experience after another on my families first visit there. We decided to try it out based on reviews and advertisement. At first glance they nailed it with the atmosphere, the craft brew selection and of course the edgy unique menu selections. That's about the good for me. We ordered meals for four of us, a chicken salad for my wife, burger for the rest of us (3 if your counting) and grabbed a garlic parm fry app. The fries were great, as they should be, but super small portion for the price. As we waited for a considerable amount of time for our meals, I noticed that other patrons were patiently waiting as well, but didn't think anything other then Friday night short staffed. As our food came out, my wife's "chicken" salad plate passed in front of me and all I could smell is fish. She didn't get seafood , nor was it seafood. It was flaky rancid chicken. As soon as the waitress seen our look of dismay and disgust over the smell she apologized and stated that they only serve fresh foods. Well, I'm sorry you just did not serve fresh food, there is no way that was fresh. I've owned my own food business and know exactly what rancid food is and that was a prime example of back of of the house not doing their job ensuring food safety. They had replaced her meal with a seasoned-less sirloin steak salad that had exactly zero taste served over an unflattering bed of iceberg lettuce and tortilla chips??? No thanks, disgust and stares from staff completely killed anything decent that could have come. The biggest kick in the pants was the fact that not one member of management came to the table to apologize or try to make better the situation. I don't care if the waitress took the salad off the bill, I would have paid for it regardless, it's the principal, it is a warranted customer complaint, that had every reason for complaint regarding food service safety. One and done for me, but it's a bar joint and if your boozed up anything taste good. I hope my experience helps, go to Luigis, your much better off. It's a shame, because they have the cool "wow" factor, but if their game is not on in the kitchen, their going to be another memory on Lackawanna ave. read more
