I really love this place! By far this is the best place I have had Chinese food from the Chadds Ford/Glenn Mills area. They have the BEST hot and sour soup that I've ever tasted!! My reason for only giving it 4 stars is because sometimes it could be a hit or miss sometimes especially the hot and sour soup there are days that it tastes amazing but sometimes it seems like it's been sitting unstirred for hours. which causes a lot of the oil to come to the top. Great food! Can always get it delivered within 40 minutes, at least from my experiences. We order out at least a few times a month from here. General Tso chicken is awesome! Pork Fried Dumplings, awesome! Most of their food is prime Americanized Chinese food. Definitely in my book. read more

We just ordered 3 take out dinners and have eaten there before and no problem always fair to good food. However this time pepper steak was fatty and peppers and onions were very large pieces. Chicken chow mein was mostly large pieces on onion and chicken lo mein had chicken in it but had no flavor. We ended up throwing most of the food in the trash. Whoever was cooking today 7/12/18 should be ashamed and fired. We will never be coming back. I placed a call to them they took my # and someone is to call me back. We shall see. I have never posted a review before but everyone should be warned all three dishes were awful. Also chow mein hard noodles were greasy. read more

We really like the food here but this is the second time we've ordered delivery (through GrubHub) with late delivery.

We like the food here, but really annoyed with the sudden change in delivery area. We live 4.1 miles away, and have gotten delivery several times this year. All of a sudden, they now only deliver within 3 miles, which is pretty ridiculous. read more

This has been our go-to take out place for 3 years. Family run, friendly service and tasty food. We occasionally eat in as well and have always had pleasant experiences. Good Chinese food. I've had the wonton soup three times. It is flavorful and you can taste a bit of ginger in the pork wontons. Not too salty, and not too bland. Tastes good to me. I've done take out twice and had delivery once. I would never opt for delivery, though, it took almost an hour and a half. I'd much rather pick it up! Twice, so far, when I've ordered, it's been difficult to explain what I want to the person answering the phone. Tonight I ordered 3 items from the vegetarian part of the menu and the person taking my order had no idea what I was talking about. She put someone else on the phone and he was able to take my order. But with that being said, the vegetarian dishes were outstanding. I'm dealing with a bad cold so I wanted wonton soup and some veggies. I couldn't make up my mind, so I got the pan-seared mushrooms, garlic snap peas, and the sichuan-style asparagus. The sichuan asparagus was quite tasty, but did have a ketchup'ish flavor to it. It had a good amount... the right amount of heat, though. I was happy with my meal tonight. Cleared up my sinuses a bit, so that definitely helps. They have a nice menu and I'd like to try something other than won-ton or your standard Chinese fare. I've tried Queen Cuisine via delivery and eat-in. Both times the food was good (better than the majority of suburban strip-mall Chinese restaurants). The delivery took a reasonable amount of time. Dining in was fine - the restaurant is new and clean. There is some awkwardness upon entering though. It's unclear whether you should seat yourself, wait to be seated, or order at the counter and then sit (I asked the friendly but harried lone waitress/counter clerk, who apologetically indicated that anything goes). I seated myself since she was busy, grabbing a menu on the way. It took about 10-15 minutes before she was able to take my order and bring my drink, but the food arrived 5-10 minutes after that and was very good. Again there is ambiguity about whether to pay at the table or at the counter (I opted for the counter). The waitress apologized again, saying it's not usually so hectic. Overall, I enjoyed the food, so I will definitely order take-out or delivery again, and might dine in if I'm not in a hurry. Hoping to try the pan-fried dumplings, which they were out of this visit. read more

TERRIBLE. Husband ordered Kung Pao chicken, there was a ketchup taste to the sauce. Did they run out of the real sauce and use ketchup? Disgusting. Lettuce wrap filling was heavy and greasy. Standards should be much higher especially for Chadds Ford. Never again. read more

The food was very good however, the customer service leaves much to be desired. We placed our order online and when I arrived to pick up my to go order they stated that the order had not gone through and they scrambled to fulfill the order. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes at the restaurant and when I asked what had happened they did not offer any type of explanation or refund, they simply told me that next time, I should call as online orders do not always go through. Needless to say this left a sour taste in my mouth because the food is actually pretty good, although a bit pricey. read more

Solid enough americanized Chinese. I've only had takeout. The soups (wonton and hot & sour) are yummy but seem a little oily. Chicken dishes are appropriately cooked, not burnt or chewy, and come with a choice of rice. Even the entrees with a hot pepper aren't spicy at all so if you need heat you'll need to add some sriracha. The food is ok but the customer service is poor. One of my bad experiences was where I asked for fried rice instead of white and they charged me $4.00 more. I decided to give them another chance but I made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing. You'd think they'd give me what I wanted but no the girl at the front said cuz I made a mistake I'd have to pay for the right thing they couldn't replace it!!! Really!? I cannot believe people actually sell food like this. I ordered here thinking I would give it a chance despite the bad reviews but I should have listened to everyone else. Mongolian beef looked like mud and tasted even worse. General Tso Chicken umm I'm not sure what kind of sauce they used but the flavor was way off and Lo Mein looked and tasted like it had just been drenched in soy sauce. Queen Cuisine is the best Chinese food that I have had in a long time. I have tried almost everything and the menu (a few things more than once) and have found everything very tasty. The place is always clean and the staff is very outgoing. A wonderful place for families and friends to gather and eat in a warm friendly atmosphere. Wow, my husband and I stopped here for a quick meal when we had a babysitter for an hour. The service was decent. The food was really good. Everything seemed freshly made and of very good quality. I had chicken with string beans and the chicken was moist all white meat with no fat. The string beans were crisp and perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband got Shrimp in garlic sauce which had a nice variety of vegetables and a tangy, slightly spicy sauce. I even had enough to take some home. My husband on the otherhand rarely leaves anything on his plate and this was no exception. Very clean restaurant, quick service, and friendly. We will be back! read more

Bring a bug swatter! We have been coming here for several years and are aware there are always goofs with the service or food. This time was no exception. We ordered an appetizer, then asked for a second appetizer but made sure it was clear that this would be served with the other entrée. We got the appetizer that should have been an entrée first, the regular appetizer second after asking where it went. The server forgot to order the entrée so that came much later. The biggest problem with the meal experience was that we were inundated with gnats dive bombing us and the food. We had to eat with one hand and wave the bugs off the food with the other. It was a really poor dining experience. We finally gave up, had the food boxed up and left. Never again. read more

I called to order delivery and they were clearly overwhelmed and said it would take over an hour so we decided to go and eat in. We're vegans and often have limited selection, even at a Chinese restaurant. This place had a really nice vegetarian selection and the eggplant dish and mushroom side dish were truly excellent. Just the right blend of seasonings, hot, fresh veggies, etc. I'm guessing it was pre-prepared in that they had to the table in less than 5 minutes, but clearly was made recently. Everything was fresh and delicious. We also had spring rolls and chow fun...both of which were very good. The guy taking our order at the counter seemed pretty overwhelmed with everything and received 2 or 3 calls from frustrated "delivery" customers who had clearly been waiting a long time. general tso was pretty good, the chicken with cashew was bland. lo mein excellent. first time there so i need to try other items. meat quality was very good and the price was surprisingly cheap for dinner in chadds ford. Dinner was half the price of other Chinese restaurants and was actually vey good---hot and sour soup was excellent. Clean and friendly, great for kids----kids menu is $2 to $3.
