    Salt & Peper Fish Fillet

The beef noodle soup is so so good and authentic. The tendon is so tender and the beef soup base has a rich umami flavor. The noodles are thick and just chewy in the right way. I think that's their best dish. The three cup chicken was good but not too special and the portion was quite small. Salt and pepper fish was a little soggy but flavor was good. The lady was very nice and patient with us, definitely unlike the fast rushed chinese restaurants. Very homey feel and good location. Lots of older folks eating alone which is quite nice.

2.5 star review : We came here on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy, and we were seated quickly and given menus. The main lady came over to take our order--we went with the Sichuan green beans, tofu and eggplant claypot, and shrimp in spicy sauce. The flavors were just okay. The green beans lacked that typical Sichuan zing, the tofu and eggplant dish was bland and forgettable, and the shrimp dish tasted more like it was in a tomato-based sauce than anything spicy. Aside from the shrimp, the portion sizes didn't feel worth the price. Service was disappointing. The two young servers and the main lady spent most of the time chatting among themselves, and no one came to check on our table once the food was served. They do have a three-entree deal for around $48-49, which seems like the only good value. Otherwise, the food feels overpriced for what you get.

Went out on Friendsgiving with my pescatarian friend, he said we should go there and we had a blast . We ordered shrimp on black bean sauce, it was delicious! Fish cake was nice and spicy, tofu was great ! They play good music here and staff is really attentive, I definitely recommend it!!!!!

They have the BEST beef noodle soup ($17) here!! The broth is full of flavor and the beef is so tender-and they give a lot! I haven't had any other beef noodle soup in the Bay Area as good as here! We also got the Crispy Rice Soup ($15) and that was okay as well as the Crispy Wontons ($7) as appetizer which beware is not actually wontons! It's just deep fried wonton skin that comes with sweet sauce They have both inside and outdoor seating. Service was good. We had to move tables because of the sun and the guy helped us move everything

One of my favorite places for lunch! I love their lunch menu items. Today, I chose the beef noodle soup, and it didn't disappoint. The beef was incredibly soft and tender, the soup had a rich, flavorful taste, and the noodles had the perfect texture. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!

3 cup chicken and chongqing Spicy Tofu
    Kerrie W.

We had a party of 3 and got the chongqing spicy tofu, 3 cup chicken, black mushroom with Chinese greens (it's shitake with bok choy), white rice and purple rice (which is purple rice + brown rice). The food was tasty (especially the chongqing spicy tofu). However to be honest I found the prices a bit high for the amount of food that we got. Looking around we didn't get the 3 dish deal that others mentioned--not sure if this deal has been discontinued or we just didn't know about it when we went. Still highly recommend the spicy tofu :)

Queen House is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant serving authentic delicious Taiwanese and Chinese food. We ordered some takeouts such as jelly fish salad, Taiwanese style fried rice noodles, Taiwanese pork chop bento, and Chinese chives in the box. All tasted very authentic and we will definitely return next time when we crave for some authentic Taiwanese food.

one of my favorite places! It feels really cozy and they have amazing food. They have such a good deal -- 3 dishes with rice for $41.99 (we had leftovers with three people). Everything is pretty saucy but it goes really well with rice. Make sure to check the Chinese side of the menu too since it has slightly different items ... Some recommended items from the few times I went: Eggplant with Spicy Garlic Sauce: tender braised eggplant with crunchy veggies in a savory garlic sauce Three cup chicken: amazing flavor! Tender chicken on the bone with lots of sauce/basil Beef Stew Clay Pot: braised beef with daikon and carrots, lots of tendon pieces, super comforting and a lighter flavor than some of the other dishes Salt and Pepper Sparerib : perfectly fried tender pork! Black pepper beef: a nice balance of lean beef and vegetables, also a bit lighter in flavor in a good way I'll definitely be back to try the beef noodle soup and other items!

We came as a party of two and we ordered the three item meal. Note that it also comes with rice. So we felt that this was a good deal. Note that there also wasn't any wait time as well. We chose the salt and pepper fish, eggplant tofu clay pot and dried tofu with shredded pork. We enjoyed every bit of every dish. We also had enough left over to make another meal the next day for lunch for two of us. The total was about $28 a person. But note that since we got another lunch out of it, in a way you can say it is enough food for four people. So technically, it would be about $14 a person. In summary, based on the price for the quantity and the taste was good. I would definitely recommend coming here. I myself, would come back again, no questions asked!

I ordered the Stir Fry Basil Chicken Bento and was immediately impressed by how much you get. The portion is generous, especially for the price! It was loaded with protein and served with two different vegetable sides and a hard boiled egg. It feels like a complete, well-rounded meal rather than the sad, sparse bentos you sometimes end up with. The basil chicken itself was the star cause it was juicy, aromatic, and had just the right kick on mild. If you have any heat tolerance at all, I'd say go mild without hesitation. It's flavorful without being overwhelming. Ordering is super easy through a kiosk, my food was ready in about 8 minutes, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I'll definitely be back to work through more of the menu. If this bento is any indication of what else they're serving, I have a feeling everything hits.

They have 2 other locations (Cupertino and San Mateo), and their menu offers Taiwanese eats. Since they were known for their bento boxes, I went for the Popcorn Chicken Bento, aka R4 - The tray came with white rice topped with some weird mysterious meat curry-like slop; the marinated boiled egg was overcooked and had no flavor. The vegetables could have been better, as there were some cabbage leaves that were kind of not washed well and were spotty. The popcorn chicken was just regular fried boneless chicken bites - no flavor, whatsoever, and wasn't sure where the basil and the seasoning was? Such a disappointing experience; it's funny, because there was 1 patron dining in, and there were others picking up items to-go from online ordering. Staff were friendly, and there is a real-time screen of when orders are ready. No dice, O2 Valley. +avoid the bentos +friendly staff +online and kiosk ordering available

Pork chops were savory with a nice bite. The seasoning was just enough to elevate the rich flavor of the pork. The cabbage side dish had a delicious umami flavor that came from shrimp and the potato side dish was soaked in a soy-based sauce that gave it a strong taste. I was amused by the fact that the potatoes were actually french fries, meaning they are being creative with whatever they have on hand. After placing our order, the food came out relatively quick. We ordered 2 beef noodle soups, the works, and 2 beef rolls. Starting off with the beef rolls, these came out cold. Please tell me how the pancake look brown and crispy on the outside and still comes out cold and not crispy at all. My nephew even said they weren't crispy and he's 3. The lady told us that the sauce on the inside was salty and that's why they don't give extra and man was she right. 1/5* The beef noodles soup itself flavor wise was good and portion wise it was good for $21, but my noodles had no chew to them at all. I was attempting to pick them up with chopsticks and they would just break into pieces. They do give a decent amount of beef though in this. 2.5/5* for the flavor but don't expect much from the noodles. Same thing went for the works, it was a peanut buttery sauce that the lady claimed wasn't spicy, but my parents noticed that it had a kick to it even though they asked for it not to be spicy. The egg is a nice touch but not too sure if it's worth the price. Noodle consistency was the same as the beef noodle soup. 2.5/5*
