Ahhhmazing!! My girls and I had a time celebrating a friend's 50th birthday! We called and informed the hostess that we were running 30 minutes late. It was no issue, she was able to push back our reservation. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. Our waitress was nice but very soft spoken for such a loud venue..like extremely loud!. There were about 2 other people assisting our waitress with our table; the service was great! They have a huge wine list which also includes many champagne bottles. Upon being seated, they'll give you the fancy bottle list which illuminates upon opening it. That list includes their most expensive bottles. Don't feel compelled to order from that list, you may order from the wine list, be sure to ask for it. The food was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the lobster tempura and the branzino. Everyone within my party enjoyed their meals, no complaints. The DJ did a phenomenal job with the music. If you enjoy EDM, you're in for a treat. He even included some hip hop and top 40 mixes in his set. There are dancers performing throughout the evening and even acrobatics! The venue is giving vintage 20 vibes in the dining room and Palm Springs vibes in the lobby. Beautiful and extremely picturesque. Also, earlier in the day I had a flower bouquet delivered to the venue for our birthday girl. I called to schedule it's arrival with the hostess and they werevery helpful. The gentleman in the suit overseeing our section, assisted with presenting the flowers later in the night. Since we were the last seating of the night we stayed until closing. Absolutely incredible Miami Spice experience. Not only does the restaurant set the tone for an incredible night out with the girls, or a hot date, you are sure to satisfy every sense during your visit to Queen. Dinner with a show and incredible views, along with top-notch customer service and excellent vibes. Drinks are pricey but it's South Beach, so expect to pay $30 per drink - though, it must be noted you're getting what you pay for. The drink menu is expertly crafted and the drinks are equally so. What a gorgeous dining experience!! In the heart of South Beach, Queen sits inside the historic Paris Theater. When you walk in you feel like you've been transported into a space where elegance meets art and food. While I waited for my party, I started with a drink in the bar lounge. The Heavenly Sovereign was their take on a spicy margarita and was lovely. It had hints of chili with passion fruit... would definitely recommend. Once my party arrived they ordered the Madame Butterfly (a vodka based drink with refreshing cucumber), and the Mademoiselle (also vodka based with coconut and lychee flavors). Both were gorgeous! Next we moved into the main dining area, where we were surrounded by immersive art, shows, and great beats provided by their DJ. Every so often their show girls would come out for a classy dance or aerial art show. The lighting, the art, everything went so well together and kept you entertained and intrigued. We went for Miami Spice and the menu did not disappoint! Sara, our server, took excellent care of us. She was so kind and attentive. I started out with the Nigiri for a small up-charge and OMG I did not regret a thing! The chef's selection of fish was so fresh, beautifully plated and full of flavor. Next up was the Skirt Steak with shiso sōsu... delicious! The meat was tender, well prepared, beautifully plated, and accompanied with some micro greens, wasabi, and rock salt to taste. The Free Range Chicken was also spectacular! It was unbelievably moist and had Thai flavors going on for a wonderful treat. For dessert, we had the chocolate soufflé. I was expecting a small ramekin but was pleasantly surprise with what looked like a mini cake! The chocolate was high quality coco and the soufflé was so light and tasty! It went magically with my Espresso Martini. We also had one of their Cheesecakes, which was wonderful. It came w sorbet and the dish had hints of mango, ginger and lemongrass. We went to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Overall, when we first arrived, I highly recommend that you use the valet parking service so you're not driving around looking for a parking spot. It cost us around $30 to valet park, and they have an excellent system that allows you to alert the valet drivers when you're ready to pick up your car. I highly recommend using that system. Please make sure that before you leave for the restaurant, you are dressed to impress. There is a dress code, and you won't be allowed in if you're not dressed appropriately. When we finally got inside, it was absolutely outstanding. We were overwhelmed in a good way by how beautiful the entire restaurant was. It felt like we were in a scene from the movie 'The Great Gatsby.' They had a DJ in the middle of the restaurant playing music, dancers walking around the restaurant, and even someone performing tricks in the center of the restaurant. Now, the key thing is the food. The food was outstanding. We tried about 10 different dishes, and it's easy to understand why this place is so expensive because the food was amazing. The dishes I'm going to talk about the most are the caviar, those small circles you can see in the picture, which was amazing. It's the best food I've ever tried. Honestly, if it were up to me, I would go every single weekend just to have that single piece of caviar. The second item we enjoyed a lot was the avocado cracker. I honestly don't know what it was, but it was outstanding as well. I can honestly say this restaurant is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I highly recommend it. What can I say about Queen Miami Beach? What an incredible ambiance and experience! Queen is as luxurious and classy as it looks in the pictures. I tried all the server's recommendations, from the delicious cocktails to the tuna pizzetta to the incredible branzino. They even accommodated dietary restrictions, which is not typical for a high-class restaurant. The live entertainment was great, too. There was a saxophonist and a violin player. I only wish the show would have started on time, but I didn't mind. I had an incredible experience overall. This is truly the 5-star gem that Miami Beach has been missing. This review is for the OMAKASE at Queen, NOT the regular dining room. Overall a really delightful omakase experience. As someone who frequently dines at the different omakase options in Miami, I was pleasantly surprised by Queen's new concept. Chef Kamakura executed his Japanese and Brazilian influence effectively into his creations. I loved the traditional dishes just as much as his fusion bites. This kept the entire meal exciting and set it apart from the traditional omakase experience. He was also so friendly and fun to talk to. He will be changing the menu every 3 weeks so don't expect to go and have the same dishes featured here. The standout dishes for me were; uni soba with truffle Yuzu ponzu. Scallop nigiri with cured ibérico slice. Wagyu nigiri topped with kinome herb (wow!). And the tuna tataki appetizer. The pallet cleanser grapefruit gelato with sparkling sake at the end was also delightful. The only complaint I have is completely non food related and why I didn't give this a 5 star. The staff walks you through the kitchen, out a back door onto the street side of the building, past a garbage dumpster and up some crazy stairs to get to the omakase room. It made us all wonder what the hell was happening in the beginning. And also just felt cheap. You have the members lounge behind the omakase den! Walk your guests up there, leave them waiting for the dinner to start with a (complimentary, like all the other omakase do) and then escort everyone into the dining room. FANTASTIC MIAMI SPICE !! Hands down best miami spice deal, the portions were plentiful and tasty but lets start from the beginning. Queen is an iconic location and pristine ambiance. Absolutely gorgeous decor and design and even gave me inspiration for future wallpaper for my bathroom. The bougie miami elite frequent here and apparently the "show" with dancer begins at 11:30 so im thinking this is more of a late night spot because they had a STRICT 2 hour limit on the table. Upon arrival, we were greeted by doorman and only allowed in with a reservation (mind you, it is also Saturday so maybe different on different days). Once we walk through this gorgeous reception station, were greeted with a beautiful bar with delicious cocktails ($30++) Then were taken in the main dining space that is out of this world with projection mapping. The service was nice but people definitely go here to be seen and ambiance. The beautiful decorated and curved walkway leads you into the hostess station to your right and you will face an elegant lounge , then straight ahead is a classy and stylish foxy bar. We decided on a drink while waiting for our 3rd person so we had the "Leopard King". It was made to perfection and I could taste the bourbon with a bit of cardamom and pineapple juice. I like it so much that a ordered a second one during dinner. My friend had the bourbon "Hitchcock's Suspicion" and said it was perfect as well. When we were taken to our oval booth table in the main dining room, I felt like I was walking into a gorgeous and unique theater. The decor inside is vibrant and very welcoming. The greeting by our French server was warm and after answering our questions, he suggested each person to order 6 to 7 items. We decided to order several things and just shared them including shishito peppers, whole Dover sole, spicy tuna roll, hamachi ( sushi - 2 pieces ). I thought the portion sizes were small for the price, but the presentation was flawless, worth of work of an impeccable chef. My favorite plate was the desert: the frozen fruits platter, which was sorbets made from the fresh seasonal fruits and placed back inside the fruit shell- mango, coconut, lychee, banana, and cocoa. Delicious! After dinner, Chez gave us a tour of the exclusive upcoming VIP area on the second floor. She said this upscale area will open early April. The private balconies are self- indulgent and absolutely fabulous. There is a large chandelier that reminds me of Murano glass. Richie and Chez came to the check on us several times. Overall, we had an inciting sinful experience and we are looking forward to our next evening extravaganza!! read more

Came here this past Friday and had a good experience. The place is absolutely beautiful from the moment you step inside and reminds me of a Vegas nightclub with an Art Deco twist. I didn't love any of their specialty drinks but I did like the food I ordered. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and I loved that it was served on a grill and warm bowl so it stayed hot. The mushroom truffle risotto was also very good although all portions were small. I am knocking off 1 star because of the service and DJ. We could tell pretty quickly that tip was already included by the lack of attention we received from our server. If tip is already included there is no incentive for them to provide good service and it really shows here. He was lost the entire time and never once checked on us. Saw him outside the womens bathroom trying to flirt with girls...very professional. We had to flag down a busser any time we needed something which even included filling our empty water glasses. With the pricing they are charging the service should have been much better. As far as the ambiance, I was expecting a more festive environment, especially on a Friday night. The last performer went on at 10:45p.m. which seemed early for a last performance. Most of the crowd wanted to have a good time but the DJ kept killing the party vibe. He would play one good song followed by 3 or 4 bad songs that would deflate the energy of the place. He cleared out the venue by midnight. I was expecting this to be more of a party but we had to find somewhere else to go to continue the party. Overall, a good experience but the service and DJ/ entertainment needs improvement to make this a great experience. read more

We did let the manager know about moth of these things and she was kind enough to send out appetizers. Our server horse was kind and knowledgeable. The food was good not great. We had steaks , creamed corn, mushrooms, broccoli, and more. Food was a 5/6. Our bill with gratuity and taxes all together was $500-$600 which makes sense for the location and amount of food we had. In the 90's it was the background for music videos for Madonna, J Lo, Ricky Martin and U2. After it fell into decline the current owner bought it for $13 million and purportedly spent another $40 million on its redevelopment and renovation. He created the most stunning restaurant in Miami, over the top plush and swanky with a massive LED paneled dome ceiling that transforms throughout the night. So you're thinking, fancy place, bad food? Nope. The food is at the world class level for French technique Japanese inspired and more, including a Robata Grill and Josper Oven. Every one of our 10 dishes hit the mark. Think about it, if you're investing $13 million plus $40 million more for the renovation, don't you want to hire the best talent? The Chief Culinary Officer's pedigree includes Louis XV in Monaco working with Alain Ducasse. The Executive Chef headed Cote, Novikov and Zuma. The staff are well trained and make sure everything is taken care of. The restaurant is looking for a clientele of well heeled professionals who will spend $500-$1,000 or more for dinner for two and not complain about nonsense like some of the other reviews I read. The patrons on Saturday evening were just that, average age 50's, well dressed, many men with sports jackets, women with Burkens. Bottles of great Bordeauxs on the table. Not a South Beach party crowd. As is the case with most high end restaurants around the world the food is about the quality not the quantity. Don't order one appetizer and one entree and expect to be satisfied. Plan on 4 to 5 dishes per person, whatever column they come from. Hopefully you like to share. I'll get into the 28 page wine list for wine lovers later in my review. Here's what the two of us had: * A good wine, goes without saying, more about the wines later * Beef Tartare on Toast with ponzu truffle dressing ($21) wow * Crispy Salmon Nigiri $19, yummy * Kristal Caviar $38 two small delicious bites on crispy rice for caviar lovers * Kusshi Oysters 6 for $25. If you love raw oysters but never had Kusshi, you never had the best. Petite, plump, sweet, from the cold waters of the Pacific coast. Accompanied by a delicious apple mignonette.. * Carpaccio Surf and Turf. Beef, King Crab and Caviar $42, a must * Fried Maitake Mushrooms $19, crispy and tasty * Dover Sole $120. If you love Dover Sole, it's always good when prepared fresh and table side, here it is not better than anywhere else but served with a tasty wasabi beurre blanc * Hamachi Tartlet, tasty yellowtail bites served in four mini tarts $22 * Creamed Corn $15 with truffle and lime, almost as good as the famous creamed corn from Carbone * Chocolate Soufflé Tarte $21 really high quality 80% dark chocolate, vanilla custard, a top notch dessert This next section is just for oenophiles: If you've read my other reviews you know I'm a pretty serious wine lover. I hate when restaurants don't post their wine lists online or won't even give you a copy in advance if you ask, as is the case here. So if you're like me you have to ignore your guest or spouse while you read through 28 pages. Most people are not like me, I realize, so they rely on a Sommelier or order cocktails. But for those of you passionate about wine I've included a few screen shot pictures from the wine list. It is heavy on France and Old World including bragging bottles but you can find some New World wines and a handful under $100, but plan on spending more for something decent. There's a large by the glass selection that includes Cristal for $205 and Chateau D'Yquem 2005, $195 for 3 ounces for big spenders, embezzlers, CEOs or show offs. The wine markups average about three times retail. On the high end you can buy a 1993 Domaine de la Romanee Conti La Tache at the Acker Merrill Retail store in New York for $6,000 or you can have it here for $20,000. Shafter Hillside Select will cost you $400 retail or you can have it here for $1,650. Futo 5500 is $1,500 here, $400 retail. A Ridge Geyserville Zinfandel about $40 retail is $130 on the list here. Listen, if you had $53 million invested in the place wouldn't you charge the same? Stop complaining. Somebody has to pay for this, or drink water or fruity $20 cocktails, which is not a bad price. Queen is a high end experience for people who enjoy such and don't mind paying for it. During our dinner a singer appeared and did a beautiful five minute vocal presentation. Bottom line, Queen is like no other restaurant you will find in Miami or maybe anywhere else, and it is something not to be missed. read more

We had a variety of different dishes at the table and loved every bite!! Fresh oysters, the octopus was perfection, delicious sushi, the lamb chops are a must and so is their ribeye.
