This was my first time here and my last. The older lady filed one of my toe nails so much it feels tender to the touch. She was so rough on my toes I was in pain and told her. I asked if my nail was ok and she said it was good to paint over it and I trusted her and let her. But when she painted over it, it just felt uncomfortable. Everything else she did was good. Once I paid I told the girl up front that she filled down too much on my nail and she said next time to ask her not do file them too much and I was like no you don't understand me like she filled down too much that it hurts and she just said the same thing and I was like ok wtv and left. Never AGAIN, I decided to try this new place out and I simply did NOT have a good first impression. the lady at the front took me in and RIPPED my acrylic set off instead of simply soaking it off. My new set has been hurting and I am NOT able to do anything without it aching. I do NOT recommend This place unless you want you to be in excruciating pain and have your nail beds be damaged. my nails feel like they could snap off at a minute. Went into this nail salon a couple of times while the ladies are very polite and nice, they are also very fast when they do a job... by saying that they do their job fast it can either be a good or bad thing. In my case it was bad because doing a fast job means not necessarily doing it right. One of my acrylics fell off and I noticed some green on my natural nail, so I proceeded to take them all off and saw another nail with the same color. I have been at this salon multiple times and each time I get a different experience. This time I asked for an acrylic nail removal and it was the worst removal I've gotten from this salon. Usually they trim your acrylics, soak your nails, scrape/drill off the excess. This time she used another fake nail to go under the acrylic and the pop them off it was just painful and there is still acrylic in my actual nail. If they were just going to pop it off I could have done that myself but I went to get it removed properly and that service was not provided. read more

Is anyone else shocked at the prices listed here? 37 for a basic pedicure? I'm sorry - I can appreciate a good pedicure but honestly, the location is nothing to write home about. There were unsavory loiterers in and around the parking lot and it's next to a dispensary. No offense but if I'm paying 37 for a pedicure and another 20 for a manicure- I'd like it to be in a nicer setting. Like a spa. Not on the boulevard with questionable people lurking. I'm not a snob. Had a terrific experience with this salon! Anna, was wonderful! She made my legs feel amazing & my feet look superb! More than a tech, Anna is a true pedicure artist! She listened & immediately reacted when I needed something different from cooler water to pressure (she applied a perfect amount.) She was wonderful! The salon staff are customer friendly & were gracious over the phone when I had to change times. Queen has very clear safety protocols & makes it easy for everyone to be healthy & hygienic. It's not a fancy place, but every customer was happy during their appointments. Just had a pedicure and dipped powder manicure with tips. Ryan did my manicure and Lena did my pedicure. I am extremely happy with both. Lena was so gentle and took her time with my pedicure. I had a hot stone massage and sugar scrub as well. It was fantastic! Ryan did a great job with my nails. He cleaned my cuticles and made sure to shape my nails to my liking. Although it was almost 7pm which is when they close, I never felt rushed. I am a pretty indecisive person but Ryan was patient and understanding. I even got 2 tickets for their holiday raffle. I just moved to DHS from Las Vegas and I will definitely be back. Total cost was $75 plus a $10 tip. That's about average for the services I received. read more

So Ivy did my nails 3 weeks ago. Not even 2 weeks later about half of them started coming off on beginning of the nail. I paid $110 for them with the cheep pedicure. I got a new shape and color for $70. Not even a week it started happening again with 2 of the nail. I called on Tuesday and talked to Ivy, she to come in. 2 days later I went in. She said it's been over a week so I have to pay $5 a nail. The guy fixed them he took out the clear acrylic, I said she used the pink one last time. He said I fix nail. They were not the same as the first and you can see between the nail and polish the new ones look white not pink. When I checked out I showed the young girl them. She looked at me like I was stupid and said $10. I said I'm not paying for a shitty job. read more

I love that they have different options for what type of pedicure you want. Best nail place in DHS for sure! And I've been to them all. Grand Opening today at DHS's newest nail salon! I've been bringing my wife & daughter to get their nails done for several years now at another salon that Tina & Peter worked at, and always requested one or the other as the tech to take care of my family. Sadly three or four months ago I walked in to find they were not in our usual shop, and was told by the new owner that they had moved away. I'm very happy today to discover that I had been lied to! The Ngo's new salon at the corner of Buena Vista & Palm Dr. is absolutely gorgeous! All new equipment and hundreds of colors to choose from. Two of the nicest people I've ever met run the shop and everything is so clean and sanitary. ( Very important to my girls! ) It's close to the bus stop which also makes things very convenient. I picked up a couple of gift certificates today, and will bring my two ladies over for a mani/pedi in the morning. We have all missed Peter, Tina & Quin and are very excited about this new business! I moved up to Yucca Valley for 2 year's and then back down to the low desert.
