Ask for Aiden! You know it's going to be good when you show him an inspiration photo and he says "do you trust me?". Well he came through with the most gorgeous chrome dip nails. He was so careful and thorough. I loved and appreciated that he asked me several times how I felt about the shape and length. I'm really particular about that, and him checking in made me feel like it wasn't a bother because he wanted to get it right. Also the arm massage at the end was amazing. I also brought my husband who was in SERIOUS need of a pedicure. The woman took great care of him and did a very thorough callous remover on him without making him feel embarrassed. Gave it a second visit because of the good reviews here although skeptical after first visit. But the mens nose-ears-brow wax is really poor quality, not thorough and rushed (same person each time). 0 stars for service, but since that's not possible, I'll justify the 1 star because they were able to take 2 of us without an appointment on the first day of our Palm Springs vacation. It was all downhill from there. They were very rude and rushed. I would've rather waited for an appointment somewhere else if I had known what a hack job this would be. First, the young Vietnamese male who was helping me kept trying to upsell a gel French manicure, saying my nails would chip easily and wouldn't look good. I appreciate being informed, but I did not need the multiple attempts to upsell or the attitude and snarky comments throughout my experience there (see #3). Second, please take a look at the horrible French manicure in the photos I took the next day. Just because regular polish will chip more easily eventually, it does NOT mean I want lopsided and wiggly lines. It's absolutely absurd. Third, SOOO much attitude. The first red flag was listening to the technician speak to potential customers who were trying to walk-in. So dismissive and appalling. It did not help that I understand Vietnamese. At one point, I also got scolded like a child and was told if I mess anything up, he didn't have time to fix it. ...I still have no idea where that came from (!?) Bottom line: I do NOT recommend. Normally don't leave reviews, but after my experience today I wouldn't recommend this nail place to anyone! I asked for a gel builder fill. She drilled my nails so thin. My nails were hot and I was pulling away, she continued to drill away. I was cut three times, one by the drill, one by the nail filer, and lastly by the cuticle trimmer. My fingers were visibly bleeding and she continued to say sorry and moved on. My fingers were stinging because of the cuts and alcohol she was putting on my hands. The top clear coat was put on sloppy, and not fully covering my nails. While she was applying the gel it spilt on my finger, she never cleaned it off and it cured on my skin. When I felt the burning, I pulled my hand out and had to point it out for her to remove it. Later, she was buffing my nails and dropped it on the ground. She didn't clean it, just picked it back up, wiped it on her apron, and started buffing my nails. This nail day cost me 50$ and I kindly tipped her 10$ because I understand the job is hard. But to not offer a discount after doing such a sloppy job and cutting a customer is disrespectful. If you're looking for a nail day in Palm Springs, look somewhere else, this is not the place! read more

Disappointed in the rush job. Up sales. 4.00 more for cuticle. 10 dollar more for wax. Massage this and that. I asked for a halo pink. They had a sample of it. I pointed and said this one. Told them pink multiple times as she was putting silver nail halo on. Then she tells me after I go home and 2-3 days later they turn pink. Wtf? Just a scam. I said it doesn't work that way I am unhappy. If I'm gonna spend 130.00 I need at lease the color I chose. She then does a hack job. Quick color change. Very sloppy. Burned my fingers with the nail sanded multiple times. I will post a photos of the hack polish At the end is a sloppy nail job and math they can't count and tried to charge even more. read more

I have been going to Lovely nails once a month for three years. Sometimes there's issues with making appointments getting there on time and having to wait for several minutes to be seated. They have a lot of walk-in traffic with tourist and tend to take them whenever they come in so if you have an appointment, it doesn't really make a difference. You still have to wait. I had a bad experience today going in for a 1 o'clock appointment. They told me I would have to wait for 20 minutes so I left and when I came back, it was gonna be another 20 minutes because they had decided to give the person a pedicure. The staff was unhelpful and a bit rude which is not usually my experience there. I'm sorry, but I will not be coming back. read more

We had a great experience here at lovely nails today. We called ahead of time to get 2 pedicures. Which I would recommend. The basic pedicure is only $24 and is well worth it. They do a great massage on your legs and feet as well. My lady really took her time to make sure my nails looked perfect! They recommended I added the callous remover treatment for $6 and I agreed. Boy did I need it! It's totally worth the extra money my feet are super smooth and soft now. I really loved their attention to detail and they were extremely friendly. These guys are very good. They charge so little, $27 for a pedicure is such a great deal. I don't think you can expect a relaxing atmosphere and a huge massage for that price. I read the reviews here and I think people don't stop to think how inexpensive it is. If you want a fancy expensive pedicure, you should go elsewhere. Numerous comments about rudeness, I've never experienced that. They are as kind and respectful as they can be given English is a second or third language. I keep coming back! When the manicurist found out I was a tourist, she barely bothered to finish. I left with ragged nails that weren't even filed into consistent rounded shapes and caught on things. I had to go to CVS to buy a file and fix them myself. The manicurist was unfriendly and the entire experience was a bummer. I won't be back. My husband had a man (can't remember his name), and he did in-depth reflexology during the massage: he was hitting trigger points and releasing so much tension in my husband's feet and legs.
