Joseph is very attentive to detail and gives the best pedicure and manicure in the greater Palm Springs Area. He doesn't speak much, but that is ok. He is completely focused on getting you the pedicure you want. He does not rush and the results are really good. I even had my favorite dining companion comment on how good my fingernails looked after the visit. Run, don't walk, to make an appointment with Joseph at Urban Nails. read more

Wanted to love this place - it had great reviews and was impressively clean. Staff was very friendly. However, I had this gel manicure done on Friday late afternoon and this is what it looks like today (Monday morning). Not only did the gel not last, it was poorly and unevenly applied. The other hand is the same. The manager did give me a discount and offered to redo it, but after our manicures and pedicures taking so long to begin with, we didn't want to stay even longer. They were very slow, which I wouldn't have minded if the end result was impressive. I would steer clear. read more

I have been having Pedicures with Susan for years and will never go to anyone else. Susan is a certified Master Pedicurist and Specializes in Wellness Pedicures that are waterless. She uses only the best products, I have never felt so pampered with a pedicure. Randomly found this place while in the area for work. Joseph was able to squeeze me in for a gel pedi. He was super friendly and took his time (my nails were bad). The place was clean and has massage chairs which to me is always a bonus. It was just him in the store today and people kept coming in so my advice is to call and make an appointment first. I can totally see why he is busy. When in time I am coming back for sure. Wish I would of seen the yelp check in 20% before paying but it was worth it $40 for gel pedi read more

I'm pretty sure this was the best pedicure I've ever had. Owner was super detailed and meticulous. Communication was great. Booking and scheduling thru Yelp was easy - even when I had to reschedule at the last minute, he was so accommodating. Equipment was clean and sanitized. A really great find! read more

While on vacation I called and spoke with Joseph. I made an appointment, which was super simple, and arrive a few minutes before my appointment. Joe was ready and greeted me when I walked in. The place was clean and neat. It was relaxing to have the place all by myself and Joe did an amazing job. His attention to detail was great. One of the best pedicures I've experienced. Left a message and got a text back within a few minutes. He was meticulous and never felt any discomfort (no mad-dash pushing/snipping cuticles). He took his time, care, and used professional products that worked well. If you're in town, don't hesitate to make an appointment! Was just OK at best. Owner hardly said two words during the entire pedicure although he seemed nice enough. The massage was minimal and would have expected better cuticle care. Polish lasted just a few days before it chipped and I had to remove it. Seemed clean which I do appreciate. I think I will try another shop next time. read more

My friend's pedicure was listed at $60, mine was listed for $50 but adding gel polish was an additional $20 just for polish. I added gel polish to my hand and toes as well and ended up paying $60 total just for gel polish alone. There were no prices posted. I saw $50 plus $20 gel on a receipt. We were never informed of these additional charges beforehand. Had I known, I honestly would have declined or gone elsewhere. On top of that, the technician forgot to apply a top coat on one of my friend's toes, which shows a lack of attention to detail -- especially considering the high cost. Overall, the biggest issue for me was the lack of communication and transparency about pricing, combined with service that did not match the premium price point. Customers should be clearly informed of add-on costs before services begin.

I've always known some nail techs and customers don't care for the drill, thinking that it takes off too much of the nail itself, but my personal experience with it has been wonderful. I've always had techs that were very cautious about only removing the polish. Sadly, my luck ran out at this salon. The tech was so aggressive that I actually had to pull my hand away a few times because of the heat. There were 2 fingernails, in particular, that I was afraid she had sanded so long that the nail itself would be paper thin. (I have really thick nails, so this usually isn't a concern.) The rest of the mani/pedi went well and I was pleased with the physical appearance of my nails. But my shellac started chipping off of those 2 fingernails after about 5-6 days. This is highly unusual for me. I can usually go at least 3-4 weeks with no chips. I decided to visit another salon to have the shellac soaked off to be safe. Sure enough, those two fingernails really were as paper thin as I suspected and I'm sure that's why my mani didn't last. My nail beds will grow out and recover, but it was a disappointing experience.

Both Susan and Debra flew to Washington (state, not DC), for a week of intense training and certification for medical grade pedicures. i visted the salon on 8/9/15 and had my root touch up i requested for the stuff i use on my hair all the time and was comfirmed that it was. after 40 min of under the heat and dryer she washes the lighting colore from my hair and my hair starts falling out this woman dose not know how to care for someones hair at all and did not speack good english . soon to find out she put the wrong thing inside my hair witch made my hair fall out i complaind and was told i wouldnt have to pay for it but wanted more in retrun the owner of the salon told me he would call the police if i didnt leave and the next said told me that my hair was all ready missing spots befor i came to the salon... i uploaded photos of my hair and wat happin im the one with the blonde hair please people beware half of these reviews on here are fake im posting this as a person looking out for others.. i contacted the state borde of cosmotoligy and filed a complaint with them and the better bussines (bbb). im fileing a small law suite with the small courts and soon will get the compinsation i deserve..... read more

My daughter waited while the lady finished up with a client before us, as she was running behind (not sure what happened, but not a big deal). The gentleman did great on my feet, took his time and fixed my ingrown toenail, gave me tips to help it as well. The lady came and did my daughter's and went by her request as she has sensitive feet and had two toe nails rip off at the skin(so extremely sensitive). The lady ended up using gel on her, just so I didn't have to wait as long(didn't charge for the gel). They were both very kind and easy to talk to. They are hitting their 23 year mark of doing nails. For the price and what we got, it was definitely worth the $30.

I asked if my nail was ok and she said it was good to paint over it and I trusted her and let her. But when she painted over it, it just felt uncomfortable. Everything else she did was good. Once I paid I told the girl up front that she filled down too much on my nail and she said next time to ask her not do file them too much and I was like no you don't understand me like she filled down too much that it hurts and she just said the same thing and I was like ok wtv and left. This was just my experience btw. There were 2 girls next to me and their service looked great. (I would recommend to not get serviced by the older lady) Paid 63$
