This guys are so convenient...but I won't be going again. I had been going there for a year and a half. Here are a few of my complaints. 1) Even if you have an appointment, you will most likely wait. 2) The quality of your pedicure depends on how busy they are. 3) They charge full price for little kids, but don't give them a "full price" pedicure. My daughter was always done at least 20 minutes before me. 4) Not always friendly. I guess it depends on their mood. I am a regular, and I expect to at least be recognized. 5) Last time I was there, Thuy told my daughter the job she had done on her nails was ugly. That was the final straw. I've just moved to the Island and found this place nearby. The service was good but the quality of the shellac is less than mediocre. I got three layers and still didn't covered my nails and lost its luster in a day. The price: for a refill and one nail fixed: $45. Never going back read more

I have been going here for about 1 year now. I usually get french shellac manicures - and they do an amazing job here - equal to the best I have ever had in top salons that are twice the price. It is not uncommon for my french shellac manicure to last 3 weeks, and it never lasts less than 2 weeks. The other thing I like is that staff are really nice and efficient, and the salon is very clean. This salon was an amazing find - and I don't have to leave the island for excellent nail care. I am glad I changed my nail care to Queen Nails. They do an excellent job. The nails don't fall off, they are perfectly sealed, say good bye to fungus problems. My mails have a beautiful shape and I get compliments when I shop or sit down to dinner. I prefer a meticulous job to a lot of noisy entertainment. This is a quiet oasis! I just moved to the Island and in a search for a new nail place, so I thought I will give them a try. Well, it was not crowded and they took me right away. (that could have been a bad sign that place was not busy) The girl that did my pedicure seems very young and probably not experienced. At the end, I was not happy with the work they did. I feel like I could've done a better job myself. All nails are different shape and length. Really? Also, they are not running the jets in a foot spa,they just fill it with water, add a teaspoon of blue colored sea salt and let your feet soak there. Wierd... Manicure girl could have done a better job too. She didn't polish the edges of the nails, they felt rough and uneven. She didn't do that much to remove the cuticle as well. They charge $38 for Mani - Pedi combo. I'm not coming back and don't recommend to anyone. BTW when the supervisor (she does the manicure) was done with me, she moved to a different chair at the front and started eating a sandwich and playing with her phone. Really? read more

Do not under any circumstance go this Salon. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never had an experience like this... The lady actually filed the skin on the tip of my fingertip. I pulled my hand away in pain and asked her to stop. She yanked at my hand and said that she would fix my nail. However, she continued to file the nail past the skin. She argued with me that she did not cause pain. Excuse me, I am the one in pain. I will have to go another salon to have the nail taken off and repaired. She then demanded that I pay her.... I have never had a such a bad experience in my life. This woman was horrid and their materials are not sanitized. Ughhh. Go elsewhere to save the skin on your hands. read more

This place is amazing! I have overlay and shellac. I've been to a few places on the island and they just don't compare! My nails always look great here ( not to thin, not too thick) and never break! It takes me almost a month in between visits and they still look great even then! Check them out! I've finally found my nail home!! read more

All the girls here are very nice and friendly. I would call ahead and see if there is a wait. Nice chairs for pedicures with nice massages on legs. Wish that they had more polish selection. But overall, nice, clean and welcoming. read more

I try to have compassion for businesses despite a terrible experience whether it be service, product, whatever. I generally just let it roll off my back and don't even feel the need to review. But I've never been so angry and disappointed with such an establishment who failed to deliver! This was by far the worst experience ever!! The set of nails I showed her didn't even come close to the final product. I wanted ballerina style nails. Instead, it came out in different shapes on each finger nail. She filed against my skin MULTIPLE times! MULTIPLE! Leaving a slight cut on my cuticle. The polish turned out blotchy. The fullset acrylic I had gotten turned out to be the exact length as my natural nails. If that were the case, I wouldn't have gotten acrylics and do my own nails. Which would have far exceeded this nightmare! It would be too detrimental on my nails to reverse such a train wreck now. Otherwise I'd demand a removal!! read more

the people are so sweet but i come in for refills and full sets and they cut them way too short, they don't have a price sheet anywhere and they're constantly switching from $20-$25-$30 and i got gel and it peeled off within 4 hours and it was $40 for a REFILL plus $3 for a broken nail. also, all my nails were crooked. i came in asking for coffin and she didn't know what shape it was. definitely not coming again. read more

I've been going there for many years - they are great! I always enjoy my time there, they are so thoughtful and helpful and they do a beautiful job with my nails! I always get compliments on my nails, and they stay looking great for two weeks! I have a pedicure each time too, and I get compliments on my pedicure also whenever I wear sandals. I feel very comfortable in this salon and am always greeted by name. The staff is very professional and try to individualize their approach to be sure to meet the customer's needs. The prices are much lower than other shops in the area. The new shellac manicure is great and lasts 2-3 weeks plus makes my nails stronger. read more

Never going to recommend this place to any one. This is the third time I'm coming to this place. First couple of times the quality of the nail polish was good. Third time I'm coming in to relax on my day off and pamper my self. After I was done, I look at my nails four hour later and the nail polish is no where near to being dry. Cheap nail polish is what happened. I come back and discuss this with Thu. She tells me that it's basically my fault and that I should have not been touching it. I'm a grown woman, not the first time in my life doing nails, I think I know what not to do. So basically she accused me of coming back to redo my nails for free. Then she started to scream at me in front of two other customers. I had enough and decided to leave. As I was leaving the salon she grabs me hard by my arm and shouts and tells me to choose a nail polish she wanted me to have. The worst customer service experience of my life ever. They tried to use an electric nail file on my bare nail! It started to burn and hurt so I told her to stop. Don't go to this place. It also smells so strong in there, they don't have proper ventilation. read more

I have been going to Queen Nails on Mercer Island for about ten years every two weeks. Thu does a fabulous french shellac that doesn't chip off. She is very particular about her staff and makes sure they do an exceptional job. The spa pedicure is very reasonable and includes a sea salt exfoliation. There are many nail salons on Mercer Island and Queen Nails is the best! read more

I love Queen Nails. I have been going here since I moved to Island 7 years ago. I get the same thing every time: Pedicure, Shellac Manicure and waxing. Prices are the best on the Island. I tried other places on the Island but either the quality of the pedicure is sub par or polish doesn't last as long. My shellac manicure has lasted as long as 3 weeks and still looks new. I was a little leery about going here for the first time given the mixed reviews but I thought they did a great job! I've had way worse pedicures for a lot more money. The staff was very friendly and I thought they did an excellent job on all of it - very nice massage, evenly trimmed nails and nice, neat color. Considering that I just got back from camping, they had a little work to do but my feet look great now! haha The salon was very clean and they got me right in on my lunch break. I'd give more stars if I could. I've been a loyal customer of Queen Nails for over three years. The staff is so great!! I never need to make an appointment. I'm able to walk in and they are accommodate me without having to wait very long. I go every single week. It's a light, fun (and clean) atmosphere. I highly recommend! read more

I've been here several times for pedicures and eyebrow waxing. Every experience has been great! The foot massage nice, two coats polish plus top and bottom, nice eyebrow wax. Maybe reviewers are passive aggressive and don't say they're tight for time, or please finish me first, when a new customer comes in. I ask, and my request has always been honored. read more
