I thought I'd try this place out just because I've read so many good reviews about their work. Turns out I was wrong. I was charged double what I'd pay at another nail salon, and I didn't even get an acrylic set. I was charged for things that didn't even make sense. I am completely upset about my experience there. Not only that, they did not paint my nails right, their machinery is old, used and they hurt. Called the place @1pm Sunday afternoon & the lady who answered told me there would be a 15 min wait & to go in as soon as possible . Once there I wasn't greeted , the workers there are SOOO rude . They sat me down at a pedicure chair 45 min later & had me wait with my feet in the water for another 25 min . ( my feet were super wrinkled , they felt horrible). After all the wait I decided to get up & leave they looked at me and didn't say anything which really bothered me . The customer service is HORRIBLE . They sure make you feel like a Queen!! The full spa treatment, massage chair and all a mani pedi for natural nails will run you 19 with an option of dead skin removal for an extra $6 which is not bad because they leave your feet silky smooth! Heard so many wonderful things about Paula (who was sadly not available when I was there) but Apple was phenomenal!! She was attentive, careful and pampered me so much! They have about 6 or 7 chairs with only three workers to do nail sets & they a full set in 15 minutes. What kind of nail salon hurries to finish a nail set? Crappy work they're always really thick acrylics and they have old polishes, it's always dirty. read more

After reviewing nail salons on Yelp and checking with a friend who used to live in El Monte, I decided to check this place out. I am pretty happy with my decision. I don't know the girls' names yet, but they are all super nice. My nails look great and I even got a cute design. I got a full set with gel polish and a pedicure. It was very relaxing and I came out feeling fabulous. I can't wait for my next appointment. My only complaint is that the parking lot gets super packed. I did find out that there is parking in the back so we'll see how that looks next time. I can't wait for my next appointment. I'll keep you posted. read more

I really loved the outcome of my nails but they made me bleed from one of my toes and didn't clean the sides of my fingernails. They look at you like "what the f***". This is my go to place for mani pedi's! I come here for Paula...she's awesome! Although I no longer get my nails done, because I do them myself, she still does my pedicure if she's not too busy. I recommend you make an appt with her so you can avoid a long wait time. When I did get my acrylics done she was always so nice.. she's fast without being rushed to get to the next person. She always has something new to wanna try,, so if you're open to trying to new things then I recommended you wait for her. They also do facial waxing here and the prices are pretty reasonable. They also offer facials & shoulder massages too, but you have to ask for it because it's not something they push on you, which is good! read more

This place was my go to nail salon many years ago. I stopped coming because of the declining quality. They consistently screwed up three or four times before I finally decided to move on. Now I'm back because the other salons nearby were closed and to see if things have changed. I'm happy to report things are better. There was no wait time with 4-5 customers already there. I had several coats of glitter nail polish on my feet, and its a very tedious task to remove. They did not charge me extra to remove it, like a lot of places do. My manicurist quoted me $18 for both a Mani and pedi. She said it had to be the same color, which I never heard of but I chose two colors and asked if it was ok to have two different colors and she said yes. So maybe I just misunderstood her. I asked for the callus remover as well which ran me $5 additional. She did a great and thorough job, but she did snip me near my big toe. It was small and superficial but it hurt like a bitch. Not noticeable. My only recommendation is take it easy on our skin. I didn't have any open or hard skin there, so it was avoidable with care. I didn't get charged a card fee even though they do have a sign that they have a fee depending on the $$ amount. So it was total $23. Not bad despite the cut. I'm satisfied, and will give them other chances in the near future read more

Have been here a few times because convenient. I came in for a half leg wax that is clearly priced at $20, today the owner charged me $25 even though I pointed to price on Wall. She says in barely understandable English that prices can change. WTF! I wax all the time, the hair is minimal so I don't get the charge up. Owner is a crook, place is dirty. read more

Honestly horrible horrible service the lady who did my full set was rude and rough with my nails. She would grabbed my hands and fingers like if she was in a rush or something. She would file my acrylics and hurt my nails even more. Then one nail was slanted and the coats weren't properly done. The entire day and the following day my nails were hurting so much. I swear this is by far the WORST place to get your nails done! Plus they are so expensive for the shit nails they do. I went in yesterday & i showed the lady a picture of the nails i wanted,she said the other lady knew all about those nails & blah blah blah so i let her. So when shes doing them i see that the tip of 2 fingers is falling off & i tell her there isnt enough glue on there & from what i hear (my aunts a nail technician) bubbles are bad when it comes to acrylics. Then she rudely & roughly takes them off. Then starts slamming the glue & it gets everywhere! ..then when shes shaping them i tell her i want them pointy & she gives me oval,then asks me "like that?" & i say no more pointy like the picture & show her again & she AGAIN RUDELY & ROUGHLY filles them. STILLLL she doesnt do them the way they look on the picture. Then some other lady comes & finishes them for me. But its way too late because by now they are small & ugly. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $22 DOLLARS,But i guess thats what i get for trying a new place here in El Monte. So disappointing. If you want good nails try Divine Nails in La Puente & Ask for Marco! This place use to be amazing! They would always offer up on extra things like nail designs or foot softener. I haven't been here in awhile, had some free time so came in. No one was here (now I see why) took forever to start my pedicure. By the time she started the water as cold. She didn't even clean up the mess she left on my toes. What is that. Then for my manicure she had someone other nail tech finish me up so she can deal with other person. This nail tech was just as bad nail polish all up in my cuticles, and my nails were even cleaned off properly. I will not be returning. Which sucks because I live so close.
