Queen of Sheba is one of my favorite Ethiopian restaurants in DFW. The service is always so great and the food is fresh and delicious. Their servings are big so it's great for group settings.

The server was great! It was my first time trying Ethiopian food and we walked me through the menu and gave great suggestions. I tried the doro wat and it was amazing! Very flavorful, and filling. I will be back to try more items.

Extremely friendly staff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurant and great food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The injera was bit too sour for my taste but otherwise all really good! Desert is a MUST!

Came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, had no wait time and they weren't super busy. Relative to other Ethiopian places I've been they had a pretty long menu, my server was helpful in narrowing down my options, and I went with the doro minchet abish, with missir alecha and shiro as my sides. I thought all the food was great and wish it were local to me so I could come back and try more! The chicken had a nice pulled pork type texture and a good level of seasoning. Not crazy spicy, but my server offered some additional house seasoning that takes the flavor up a notch The missir alecha was a bit more dense and almost oatmealy than I'm used to, but still quite tasty. The shiro tasted kind of like a more garlicky refried beans and really hit the spot, I hadn't seen this as a side option before but it'll absolutely be top of mind for future Ethiopian restaurant visits Overall I had a great experience and highly recommend if you're in the area

Never had Ethiopian before. Our server was so patient and explained every dish. She even gave us great recommendations. Will definitely be coming back. Food was absolutely delicious.

I have had Ethiopian food before, but Queen of Sheba out did themselves. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The old school music in the background, the linen napkins and the service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Omg ! The food was spot on! If you are looking for something different, give them a try! We also had the Queen chocolate cake, the baklava and tiramisu for dessert. On to the next restaurant for my next month dining experience. If you have suggestions let me know!

So I've pass this place a number of times but after this visit I will spot once a week. The service was great the place was not packed and it was early in the day. The waiter was patient with all my questions and answer them in depth. The music was A1 from Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston to usher! The setup of the place was very nicely done. The food was to die for. Not to forgot they have a full bar with a mixed drink just right for a mid-day situation. I have my favorite Ethiopian place that I normally go to, but this is my new favorite and I will be coming here all the time now. Everything I ate was made to perfection and I left with a very stuffed doggy bag.

Want to try something new? This is your place. Don't ask me what I ordered. It was the chicken dish with jalapeños and the lamb. The protein comes with 2 veggie sides. The "bread" has a very distinctive taste. Everything was tasty. Ask your server for recommendations. Will def come back.

Someone who I presumed was the manager, Joe, was so helpful! We never know what to order and he just took over control after we were confused about the menu! For 4 people, he fed us well! This included 3 meats that he chose for us! They had a variety of chicken, beef, and lamb. Highly recommend this place for their food and service!

The food wasn't freshly made like I am used to. The service was ok but it's possible they could use more help. The cook came out of the kitchen a couple of times and she was lovely and pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was really a miss for me so I don't think I'll be returning.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The Ambiance of the location is splendid.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Authentic Ethiopian food as it's best! Quality service and food. Would recommend for anyone who has not tried Ethiopian food. It's savory, filling, and a pleasant dining experience

If you want to try something unique cuisine, come here! My son and I went here for lunch yesterday and had a relaxing, delicious meal. Staff, food and ambience were great. The Vegan dip was full of flavor, and the Sambusa's were delicious as well! We had Doro Alacha and Tibes family style. The Ethiopian spiced coffee was so good, bought a bag for the house. We will be back.

It's right off Hwy 75 and Beltline right across from the McDonalds after the light in the strip mall. It was easy enough to find and we strolled right in. It is self seating and we picked out a table chairs off to the right side when we entered. It's a decent size space with a fair for live music and plenty of seating; half of it on regular height and the other half bar height seating. There was one young lady serving and there were only 3 other families there. She was attentive and served us with a smile. We ordered taste of Ethiopia, which a mixed dish with Doro wot(chicken stew with boiled egg) kitfo(very slightly fired almost tartare beef) beef tibs(stew; all served in a bed of Injera(their traditional spongy oversized tortilla) made from teff. It has a slightly fermented taste for those who have never tried it before. The plate also had collards, lentils(shiro) and Ayib(homemade fresh cheese). This is right up there with Shebelle for the best Ethiopian food in DFW. Now I haven't tried all the restaurants but have eaten at enough to know what is next level. The explosion of flavors; the subtle heat from the jalapeños and chilli powder/paprika. The rich taste of the Ethiopian ghee it's cooked in. The best part is the injera that has soaked up all the sauces as the last fitting bites. The only downside is wouldn't stop eating, it was so so good and I got my share. I was full for the rest of the day and didn't eat until about 20 hours after that meal. Go try this place....the food is so worth it!

The waitress was kind and very helpful. She explained the dishes and even hand-served the buffet to me. The inside had tvs to watch the euro cup and the mint chairs were comfy. I enjoyed the buffet and the vegetable combo was delightful. The only thing that wasn't for me was the tea. It tasted like a fireball shot without the alcohol. If you like sweet things, then I would recommend. Overall nice experience and I will be bringing friends and family again for sure!

The owner, who also acts as the chef, is the most delightful woman. She treated my girls to two wonderful appetizers--sambusas and pasty--which they completely devoured. We couldn't stop coming back, and with every visit, the food tasted even better than the last. Don't skip out on their wonderful Ethiopian coffee, either! Arif Cafe is a quick drive from the original Half Price Books location. The outside of this restaurant doesn't do the amazing food inside justice. For our hungry table of three, an order of beef tibs and two veggie plates was a tummy stuffing dinner. For my fragile tongued husband, we went with a mild spice level which was still very flavorful. The beef tibs were tender in a way that only slow cooking can achieve. Service was attentive and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a exotic dinner out with a small group.
