Delicious fast casual restaurant inside the Sara's Market and Bakery making kabob plates and wraps…read more Very fresh food cooked right in front of you and 4 stools available to eat in. Steak kabobs are made with filet mignon cuts! The grill makes lots of specials like Lamb Loin and Wagyu beef. The deserts are made in house and they even make a baklava with cheese called warbat. Incredible Dallas gem so good I kinda don't even want to share.

Living in Dallas, Texas, has its perks!! Our family seeks out new cultural experiences (grocery…read morestores, food & events) to learn more about the world outside our own. This was a fabulous adventure! We took a few hours to visit Sarahs Market and ate lunch at their S Grill. The market is very small, but every inch of its space is very special. First, we found our way to the back corner and sat at a tiny countertop with only 4 chairs. The counter faces an open top grill, and you're able to talk/ watch the chefs make the food. The menu is limited and pricey! We ordered one steak kabob ($26.00). The steak was served medium rare, very juicy, on top of a long rice (similar to rice pasta), and it was coated in a delicious seasoning completely unfamiliar to us. It came with roasted tomatoes & purple onion. You can select from several sides, we picked the hummus. It was a huge portion, enough for 2 people. The chef was so pleased to have us and was very impressed that we were there to learn. He gave us many "generous" sized samples of the sides and sauces they offered. Everything was made in-house, from scratch with fresh ingredients from their grocery store. It was a wonderful experience! The bakery aspect of this location is a small glass display case full of sweets, like macaroons, cheesecake baklava, and more. Most of them were new to us. The pastry chef gave us a few samples that had us buying a bunch to take home, lol. We strolled through the grocery store part of the market before leaving and bought a few items we already enjoyed. The difference was buying things that are made in-house, like pita bread. You can definitely see, smell, and taste the difference. A FIVE STAR review for their authenticity, hospitality, and delicious fresh food. If you're in the area you've got to try the Grilled Kabobs.

We had scheduled an early dinner (6:00) and there were only 7 tables throughout the night enjoying dinner service. Well, we won't be going back till the addition to the restaurant is completed, due to the noise factor!!!!!!! There was sawing noise which was so loud we joked it made us feel like we were at the dentist office having a negative experience. Along with nail guns, not what you wish to have when you're trying to have a an enjoyable dinner experience! Upon being sat we asked Patrick, our server, if they were going to continue working and he was very put off by our question. He told they were about to wrap it up for the evening. Nope, still going strong at 7:00!!? We should have left...but we had committed to the evening by ordering a bottle of wine, meatballs (deliciousness!), and salad that came overdressed with dressing (yuck!). My friend ordered the Margarita pizza, which they left the fresh basil off, which is a key ingredient. Me, the sea-bass, which was overcooked & very fishy. My hubby the pork & beef pasta with ricotta, which was overcooked and mushy. Needless to say less than stellar. And Patrick was not very friendly or accommodating. Worst night of my Life, I was so embarrassed! When dining, you usually have background music, not a building under construction??!!! $200 dinner, ruined, horrible!!!!

Good texture and they season and bread it well. The tots and dipping sauces were really good too. My friend got the chicken strips and loved them. The restaurant itself is nice with an interesting interior. Also very clean. You order on screens. I was ordering an original chicken sandwich meal which shows as full price and it would not let me modify the meal to remove pickles as I cannot eat pickles. I had to get somebody to ask them why it would not allow me to modify. She told me it's because the Sandwich is $1 on Sundays and cannot be noticed. However, this promotion is NOT listed anywhere within the establishment and as I stated, the original chicken meal was shown as full price when I placed the item in the cart. I also offered to pay full price to remove the pickles and I was told no. This is an unacceptable practice to not be transparent with people coming to order from your place of business. This was my first and last time coming to a birdcall. Luckily we left and went to McDonald's which was in the same parking lot.
