Had a wonderful time here with my dad. The ambience was excellent as soon as we walked in. It was warm and cozy, moody lighting. Wish we were there when there was live music. I'm sure that would've been the icing on the cake! Katie, our server, was excellent. She had a lot of great recommendations, like the buffalo cauliflower and elk sliders. Both were appetizing and packed a lot of flavor. The entree, beef tenderloin, was pretty good. The "crust" tasted a bit burnt. I didn't like the Demi-glace on top, but that's a preference. I'd much prefer the beef tenderloin al a Carte. I ordered medium rare, was closer to the rare side. Two of the asparagus didn't have the hard part of the stalk trimmed off, so I had to spit that out. The hash under the steak was yummy. My dad ordered the same and his was extremely rare. We asked Katie to bring it back to cook it more; when she brought it back it looked exactly the same. He also didn't care for the Demi-glace. The mac and cheese was as forgettable. Very bland. I liked the noodle choice as it held the sauce well, and the baked topping added a nice texture difference. Wouldn't order again. The crispy potato side was delicious. I could've ordered that with the sliders and buffalo cauliflower and I would've been very satisfied. I'd like to try Queenie's again with a different entree and skip the mac and cheese. The service was outstanding, from Katie to the manager that came to speak to the table. The drinks were good as well. The food was pretty good.

I was excited to find that Tim Love had a little hidden gem off the square in Denton, so I quickly made reservations for my finance's birthday dinner. From the moment we walked in the door, they made us both feel so welcomed and special. They immediately wished him a happy birthday without prompting which confirmed that they had read my notes in our reservation. We started with a cocktail made to order at the bar until time for our reservation. The bartender did an excellent job of recommending the perfect whiskey. Once we were seated, our server Ryan took excellent care of us. She thoughtfully asked about our wine preferences and made an awesome recommendation. Then, she walked us through the menu and clearly explained how the courses would be timed and prepared. And, the manager David came by several times to check on us but also gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal. We had the grilled oysters to start, and what a way to kick off the meal. The flavor pairing of lime, serrano and manchego cheese were so good. Then, we shared the butter lettuce salad which the kitchen thoughtfully split. They have really found a way to elevate their version of a wedge with the dressing, lardons and pepitas. Then, we both had the beef tenderloin which had been thoughtful prepared, seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was so tender that we didn't even need our steak knives. Finally, we finished our meal with the whiskey carmel, bacon sundae. Just Wow!!! I am always surprised by the food scene in Denton, but our meal rivaled some of the best dining experiences that we've had anywhere in the world.

The food here is phenomenal. We had their New Year's Eve special. It was a 2 inch thick 32 ounce porterhouse and scallops, with 3 other sides which included a salad and dessert. The steak was unbelievably tender. Thanks Ken and our server Katie. We enjoyed the live music as well. It was at the perfect noise level that we could still have a conversation without yelling at each other. If you're passing through Denison Texas and want to take a lovely food journey stop by Queenies Steakhouse, you'll love it.

Had an amazing date night at Queenie's! The food was wonderful and the service was the best service around. The server we had was helpful and fun and prompt with everything we needed. Would definitely go back!

Considering a rehearsal dinner here, anyone else ever do that here?

It would be amazing, I personally have not done a private dinner there but the food and atmosphere is absolutely fabulous, including their full (glass/garage-style) doors that can open depending on the time of year and weather. They have beautiful…

From the moment we walked in until the end of our evening, the experience was absolutely exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and host, both of whom wished us a happy anniversary and immediately escorted us to our table. To our surprise, the table had been beautifully decorated with rose petals such a thoughtful and special touch that instantly set the tone for the evening. Our server, Adam, greeted us shortly after and walked us through the specials, again wishing us a happy anniversary. We ordered a special appetizer, the octopus, steak, fresh bread, and margaritas. Everything was incredibly delicious. The margaritas especially impressed me I'm not a big drinker and tend to be very picky about cocktails, but it was perfectly balanced and so enjoyable. Throughout our meal, we were checked on regularly, both by our server and by the owner, Phil. Adam went above and beyond to ensure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. It was also wonderful to see Phil personally checking on guests, clearing plates, and staying actively involved in the dining room. It's rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely engaged with customers. We finished the evening with crème brûlée for dessert, which was absolutely amazing and such a generous surprise when it was gifted to us in celebration of our anniversary. The entire night felt thoughtful, personal, and memorable. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an owner who truly cares. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Hannah's for any special occasion.

Unfortunately, last night's meal fell well short of those expectations. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger, and it was a major letdown. It honestly tasted like someone on their last day prepared it. The bun was soggy, a small tomato slice, and if there was any BBQ sauce on it, it was practically invisible. On a positive note, the rest of the table had a better experience. My wife's catfish was good, and the kids said their meals were decent, so it seems like the kitchen is still hitting the mark on some of their menu items. The tartar sauce was different. Overall, pretty disappointed with the burger quality given what Texas Roadhouse used to deliver. Next time we come back, I'll definitely be steering clear of the burger menu and sticking to a steak. If I was to make a note on anything else the music was a little loud so conversations were a little tough.

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. The free peanuts are a nice touch, and they offer daily specials as well. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's always a game on TV, which is a welcome break when you've had enough politics to last a lifetime. The servers and bartenders are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.
