I was looking for a local breakfast place in Denton and this popped up as #1 in the area. I ordered the southwest skillet with came with brisket, hashbrowns , eggs, avacado, salsa, with a side of pancakes. The pancakes were okay, nothing special, but the flavors from the skillet was awesome! Just the right amount of kick. The service was excellent. The only thing for me was it was actually hard to find. GPS was putting it away from where the entrance was. Great localbreakfast place! read more

A well rounded menu with gluten-free options as well. Everyone here has a smile and look happy to be there. I had the migas and my husband had the cinnamon roll French toast. Both selections were perfectly executed. Orange juice was fresh and the coffee was perfect. My husband even got a latte to go. The cafe is very clean and you can tell the family takes pride in their ownership. Great experience overall! read more

Ordered Chicken And Waffles ( single waffle ) The chicken is so thin you can't even taste it. theres more breading on the breast than actual chicken and the bottom half of the waffle was undercooked, to top it off there was a hair in my food. I left unsatisfied and hungry. after reading the reviews i thought this place might be a place i frequent. the saving grace was the manager ( so i thought ) he ensured me the chicken is usually never that thin and he would make me another... yeah another chicken no waffle or anything... and if you wanted another waffle it's 10$ more? 2 waffles for 20$??? ridiculous I would never go here again. read more

Modified menu from other Starwood's. Had the very berry crepes, did not come with eggs or sausage or an option for the platter. So settled for just the crepes. They were great! Our server was exceptionally nice although was the only one that we saw around. Took 20 minutes to order, 40 to get food and another 25 to pay. Location is in the far corner of the shopping center and the do have outdoor seating. The prices are a tad high, the bathrooms are one person at a time, which is hard for multiple quests and families with children. The hubby's waffles were underdone and hash browns were pretty much raw. Our son's platter was great, though. I feel like right now, it's a hit or miss with food and timely service. read more

We were so hungry so no pictures this time. Came for a late breakfast/lunch. Lots of traditional American breakfast options. The pecan waffle was fluffy yet a nice crisp. Had a bite of French toast also very good. Solid biscuit and gravy. Crispy bacon. Hash brown could have had a little crisp but seasoned well. Eggs were normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. Love coming to Starwood for their gluten-free pancakes. They're delicious. My wife always gets the very berry crepes and loves them. She's also had the huevos rancheros and has said they are amazing too. The service here is awesome. Everyone is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. We've never had an issue getting a table, even when they're busy. Love Starwood! read more

Nice little breakfast spot near the Denton Tesla Superchargers. Stopped by a little after 11:30a on a weekday while my car was charging. Got seated immediately and the service was very nice. The menu had all your standard breakfast items and the food prices were reasonable. Ordered the migas plate ($10) and an iced coffee ($5). The migas was good and fresh and came with tortillas, hash browns, and black beans. The iced coffee tasted like drip coffee poured over ice. I was pretty surprised to see how expensive it was given how it tasted. It was the only part of the experience that was disappointing. Overall, I would definitely come back again. This place was amazing. Definitely racks up a wait time on weekends because it is very small but it's worth it. Biscuits and gravy were great, the pancakes are toddler approved, and they had a great all-American breakfast as well. Once seated service was quick and friendly. On the way home from Oklahoma stopped for late breakfast. Starwood popped up on google search. Clean restaurant with nice staff. I tried the Huevos Rancheros and my friend got the big breakfast with a side of pancakes. Huevos came with two fresh eggs on top of crispy chalupas, pulled pork and a side of black beans and hash browns. Delicious. I had a bite of pancakes and they too were yummy!! Me and my boyfriend came here to enjoy a nice brunch meal, and ended up sitting at a table for 20 minutes without being served at all. We ended up walking out of frustration since we kept seeing servers walking past us. Other people that got there later than us also ended up getting their food, meanwhile we never even got offered a drink. Food is phenomenal. I haven't had a sandwich that good in a long time, completely blew away my expectations. The salads are actually filling with lots of protein and a plethora of ingredients rather than just plain lettuce or greens. The migas are surprisingly tasty considering it's not primarily a Mexican or Tex-mex restaurant. The crepes are also great, first time ever trying crepes and it was impressive, will have to try many more times. Service was great. Ambiance was nice as the tables aren't too close together and the restaurant has a nice style. read more

My eggs Benedict were just ok, I've had much better but the kids ordered cinnamon French toast and that was pretty amazing. It's pure sugar but good. I've been to this Denton location a few times and I've always had nice experiences. Super friendly staff, clean, adorably decorated and they have a lot of options on the menu. If you're looking for lunch, no. My wife said breakfast was great however. I just had the Chicken Pomodoro panini with a side salad with Blue Cheese. Well that's what I ordered. They were out of blue cheese so I said ranch. When food came out my salad tasted overwhelmingly like dill which is odd for a salad. My wife tried the ranch and we agreed it was the dressing. I didn't want dill ranch. I wanted blue cheese and then settled on regular ranch. Sandwich was interesting. The bread was great and it was toasted perfectly. What was not enjoyable was the wilted and overwhelming taste of spinach. It was as if instead of using fresh spinach, they cooked it first and then put it onto sandwich before pressing it. I definitely would not get this again. Wife had the Bacado Omelet and said it was great. Hashbrowns were decent. Biscuit was good. Long story short, my meal was a 1 and hers was a 5. So might be great breakfast place. Will give it another shot when I'm wanting breakfast. read more

On this morning, quite a few two-tops were available. Fortunately, there was no need to sit by the bar as those stools had no backs. I ordered the Classic Breakfast. The buttermilk pancakes, of which I barely finished half, were very delicious. The sausage patties were equally delightful. The same could not be said of the syrup which congealed as it poured. Although the fried eggs had a pleasant taste, I failed to be more precise on how they were to be cooked as the yolk was liquified. When I ordered the Holiday Brew drip coffee, I wished the cashier had suggested the Bottomless Drip. As I usually drink more than a single cup, I could have saved some money. Regardless, the coffee had a very pleasant taste. When gratuity was requested, it would have been very beneficial to know for what I was tipping? When I ordered off the breakfast menu, the price was not for the raw ingredients but the cost of it being made. The same with ordering drip coffee. When I saw the silverware by the cream and coffee sweetener, I expected to grab my own utensils. As it was my initial visit, the sign to bus my own table was totally unexpected. It definitely explained why there were a lot of crumbs on the table. Since the sign was near the back, it would have been easily missed if I had not visited the restroom.

Throughout our meal, we were checked on regularly, both by our server and by the owner, Phil. Adam went above and beyond to ensure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. It was also wonderful to see Phil personally checking on guests, clearing plates, and staying actively involved in the dining room. It's rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely engaged with customers. We finished the evening with crème brûlée for dessert, which was absolutely amazing and such a generous surprise when it was gifted to us in celebration of our anniversary.
