I love going to see Jolie at Queen's Nails. She is the absolute best and a dear friend. I met her 2 years ago and actually was diagnosed with cancer shortly after meeting her so she has been here for me throughout my journey. It was a mistake I made today. Rather than go to my regular salon(which has excellent service, neatness and cleanliness), I thought I'd try this place since it's closer to home. I used to come here a long time ago but stopped when at my recommendation, my aunt ended up with a big toe infection and huge podiatrist bill! But I thought that was many years ago so hopefully they have improved. The salon is quite crowded. One cannot see much in the salon other than the row of chairs lined up so close to each other. When I was seated, the white towel on the footrest of the chair was indeed white but with visible black stains. That should have been thrown out and used as a rag! It made me feel like running out of there cause I wasn't sure if it was washed clean or not. At least it was dry so rather than be an a** about it I went along. The two technicians were nice and chatted some with me which I appreciated. They did fine on my nails. However, when I paid I was charged with what I thought was an enormous amount for much less in terms of overall satisfaction. Lesson: it's never greener on the other side of the fence. Stick to where you already receive great and excellent experience and go for that extra mile. Ergo, it will be the first last visit to Queen's. read more

My manicure was good up until they got into the polish. The man was horrible. When he polished he kept going all in the creases of my nails. I was going to the mall across the street, since I just moved out this way and seen all the nice designs in the pictures...I figured I'd try this place out. Oh boy do I regret it! The lady didn't really scrub when doing the callus remover and my feet are worst than they were when I came in. I let her know my heels were still rough and she just put baby oil on my feet like that was supposed to do something. The lady who did my pedi also didn't do a good job getting the cuticles, seemed like half you know what and lazy job. As for the lady who did my gel fill, I should've known better when she asked if I had time Vs being in a rush. She did a sloppy job with my acrylic and nail polish. I have gel polish all over my finger...outside of my nail and on my skin. I asked her to clean it up before curing with the light but she kept saying it was okay. The manager had to come and finish but just did a rush job to get me out of there. Needless to say...I still have polish on my fingers and nails that are thicker than others and honestly...a mess. So of course I have to go somewhere else to have them fixed because this place is not the place for me. Oh and let's not forget to mention the cut she gave me on my finger with the nail file drill. I never leave reviews, but I had to share my experience today. The first thing I noticed is the tech servicing me did not use clean implements or tools. My service was rushed through, the tech poured a runny substance on 1 foot that I didn't recognize. It wasn't until the tech us the same bottle of product on my other foot that I realize it was the oil from the scrub. Only came in for an eyebrow waxing. I usually don't wait long for such a fast service. I wasn't greeted right away. Kind of looked at up and down. Finally a women asks what I want. I say eyebrow waxing. All she says is have a seat. No timeline. 10 minutes later another women walks over to me saying it'll be 10 minutes until someone can be with me smirking as if she wanted me to say never mind and leave. I waited. This little shop was full on a Monday morning so that pretty much says it all. This was my first time here and I was a walk-in. I needed to return in an hour (no problem since I didn't have an appointment and busy is good). Hung or maybe Hong (sorry about the spelling) removed my gel nails and gave me a new beautiful set of gel nails. He did a perfect job and was fast (my favorite). He even helped with the color. There were three similar shades and he let me know that one of them he has been using for the holidays and the color has been great. He was spot on! I love my nails and I will be back. read more

I came in to get my nails cut shorter and the person who did it for me was giving me so much attitude. If I want them cut shorter thats my decision and I'm paying for It. she kept saying my real nails will get in the way when I asked her to cut them shorter. but they wouldn't because they are really short. It seemed like she was irritated that she had to extra work. When I was leaving she let me know that my nails before were prettier??? She didn't do a good Job of making them look good after cutting them shorter. They also don't communicate well in English. the lady doing my nails was talking in Vietnamese to me when she knows I don't speak it. I came here June 23 as a walk in and got a light pink gel manicures. Lynn the manicurist was nice and I liked that she did 3 coats so that the color would show through. Even though I was a walk in, I waited about 15 minutes which isn't too long to wait. I liked the decor and they have a large selection of colors. The only thing I didn't like was that after leaving the shop, while my manicure was decent, I noticed that the cuticle line on my right thumb is not even. Still I liked my manicure and 2 weeks later, my nails are still shiny and there are no chips. If you're in the area and need a manicure it's a decent nail salon and they take walk-ins which is a big plus. read more

A gentleman helped me He was so rude , Ruff , and hardly was able to understand him. I asked for full set. And wanted "cat eyes" gel . My go to place for my gel nails! They always do such a wonderful job and have a great selection of colors. Impeccable service in a timely manner. Linh was my nail artist again and after each finger for my French tip nails she would always make sure that I'm ok with the thickness. The seashells are stickers and I thought they were really cute! She put a good amount of nail polish on top of the stickers just to that they will not fall off easily. Always a good experience when I come back to this shop. Have been coming here for years! I also do my eyelashes and waxing here. Linh does my waxing and my eyelash extensions are done by Vi both of them are extremely professional and excel at what they do.
