I got the Combo Pho and chicken salad from Que's kitchen. The Pho portion is HUGE. The broth is delicious, and the veggies included were so fresh. I highly recommend the chicken salad. It's AWESOME with the right amount of protein, veggies, and sauces. The food was carefully packed, and it was really neat and clean.

Saw this new restaurant on Uber eats and decided to give it a try. Nice packaging, generous portions and great flavor. Will order again

Chicken pho broth is on the healthy side. Less salt , I wish they will have option for using fresh chicken with skin. I do not mine to pay more. BBQ Beef vermicelli taste good but my husband said the beef are cold. I know vermicelli is cold dish; however most of the Vietnamese restaurant they serve hot BBQ beef on top of the vermicelli. It is just taste way better and more appealing. My favorite part of those two dishes are rice noodles. They are thin and fresh. They might be the best thin rice noodles in the Oakland/Alameda area.

The packing is awesome as well super safe and COVID-19 safe

So good the flavor of this pho is really delicious I could drink the broth. When my girlfriend is hungover I give her this and she pops right back to life

I ordered a black rice noodle combo and some egg rolls for takeout. The egg rolls are crunchy and the filling was delicious! Love the broth of the noodle as well! Have to support local small businesses like Que's Kitchen. Thumbs up for the healthier noodle options and the innovation behind it. Keep up the good work!

The standout dishes for me were the Calamari, Karaage, and Daikon Salad. The Calamari was perfectly fried, and the seasoning was well-balanced. The Karaage was also perfectly fried, and the sauce was flavorful. The Daikon Salad was light and refreshing. I would like to thank our server, Noah, for his helpfulness in choosing our dishes and for the prompt service. I highly recommend it!

The good: fresh, quality ingredients The bad: started with the host/wait list. I accidentally added my name twice for a solo diner. Host thought it was a mistake and completely removed me from the wait list and seated other parties that came in after me. Thoroughly confused - she didn't even call my name to confirm so I had to go up to her and ask. No apology either. Was seated at the counter where solo diners usually sit. Service was non existent. Server came up to me and ask "what would you like to order?" I've never been there before. No "hi my name is ... I'll be your server" nada. They're just a machine - people in people out. The ramen - broth was fine. The squiggly noodles aren't my favorite. Expected to have kernel corn but had corn ribs instead (good thing I'm good with chopsticks!) The charshu was just okay. Enoki topping was just ... aight. The nice touch was that they didn't put it in the ramen and served it on the side to preserve its crunchiness because it definitely needed the texture! It was loud, busy, and nothing spectacular about the dining scene here. $55 dollars later (ramen, 2 additional toppings, one box of sake) ... I sadly don't think it was worth it.

With my luck, my car would smell like hello kitty for weeks. Anyhow, I found Mẹ Và Con on yelp, a mother-daughter owned resto that opened in 2024. They serve bánh khọt and have outdoor seating so we headed over. Thankfully, we arrived before the Sunday dinner rush (~5:45 pm) and before the parking lot was filled. Rezzies are accepted (via phone). M E N U Viet Cuisine with some elevated, modern twists (no specific regional specialty). Smaller menu than your typical hole-in-the-wall with 25-30 items including AZN fusion items like shrimp ceviche, kimchi pasta and tom yum pasta. Beer, wine, and soju cocktails available. F O O D * Bò Tái Chanh: Beef Carpaccio w/ Thai basil, fried shallot, house tangerine sauce ($18): https://tinyurl.com/nhcn9kxw - Served at dinner only Fresh, tender slices of beef carpaccio with a sweetness from the tangerine sauce and white onions. I appreciate their twist (tangerine sauce instead of nước chấm) but it was too one note for me...IMO, it needed acid and herbs. Plus, I miss the texture of peanuts. * Bánh Khọt: Viet Mini Pancakes w/ shrimp, coconut milk batter, herbs, pickles ($24): https://tinyurl.com/34nx7sat - Served at dinner only Fav dish of the night, the savory bánh khọt was delicately crispy and slightly custardy in the center with a snappy shrimp drizzled with fragrant scallion oil. It came with romaine, mint, and perilla leaves neatly layered for easy wrapping. The lettuce was a bit soft and soggy tho, and I think they forgot the pickled veggies. Served with a tiny portion of tangy sweet nước chấm. * Bò Lúc Lắc: Shaking Beef w/ soy, garlic, onion, cherry tomato, arugula ($26): https://tinyurl.com/3rkpukct Meltingly tender cubes of filet mignon but light on the seasoning and aromatics so it was bland. Also, was hoping for more smoky wok hei flavor. * Thịt Kho Tàu: Braised Pork Belly w/ hard boiled eggs, rice ($21): https://tinyurl.com/mr2evryw - Includes bowl of rice A traditional dish served during Lunar New Year, it symbolizes prosperity, warmth, and stability. Chunks of pork belly are caramelized in sugar and braised in coconut soda and fish sauce - rich, savory with a good ratio of lean meat to fat (4 pieces). Wish they used more braising liquid when warming up, as some pieces were a bit dry. S E R V I C E Warm, friendly hospitality. Food does take awhile tho...our first dish took about 30 minutes to arrive. A M B I A N C E Casual, no-frills indoor area with about 10-12 tables. Cute covered patio in the parking lot with 5 tables and fairy lights. Overall, Mẹ Và Con is a great place to introduce people that are new to Viet cuisine and/or you're looking for Viet dishes with different twist.

Sometimes you just need a big, comforting bowl of chewy noodles covered in rich black bean sauce, and this spot absolutely delivers. Their jajangmyeon is done just right. The sauce is savory, hearty, and satisfying without feeling too heavy, and the noodles have that perfect chewy texture that makes the whole dish so comforting. The portion size is also massive, so you could definitely share one order between two people--although I completely understand wanting one all to yourself. I also tried their fried chicken, which was decent, but it wasn't the standout for me. It was fine as a side, but compared to the noodles, it didn't feel like something I'd go out of my way to order again. Next time, I'd probably skip the chicken and focus on what they're clearly known for: their noodle dishes. Overall, this is a great spot when you're craving classic, satisfying Korean comfort food. I'd definitely come back for the jajangmyeon and would recommend it to anyone looking for a generous, flavorful bowl of noodles.

It only took roughly 15-20 minutes for the order to arrive and it came hot and fresh. Starting with the ja-jang myeon, it's so satisfying being able to mix in the sauce with the noodles. The black bean sauce is both salty, savory with a hint of sweetness coming through. The texture is thick and perfect which hugs the noodles with every bite. It also has a good balance of the veggies in the sauce as well. It is definitely very filling! The spicy rice cakes were soaked in a sweet and spicy sauce, with sautéed cabbage and peas. The flavors were really addicting and kept me coming back for more. The rice cakes were both delicate and chewy. Eating this dish alongside the pickled radish and onion cut through the richness of the dish. Lastly, I tried the yuja ade and was pleasantly surprised! I will say that it is very sweet, if you do prefer it to be sweeter instead of tart. At the bottom of the cup are these yummy almost candy-like yuja slices that practically melted with each sip. I'm so glad I decided to try it! Overall, the portion sizes are pretty big for the value! I was able to stretch the food across a few meals. I will definitely be eating here again!
