The horchata wasn't thick and sweet like other horchatas but well balanced. The tropical ginger drink was also delicious. I would have liked a bit more ginger in it but still yummy. For our entrees we had a green corn tamale (same ladies from Lerua's making them); need I say more?! I brought back such great memories of when they were on Broadway. I also had a side of refried beans. So satisfying. My daughter had the spicy shrimp taco. The presentation was gorgeous. They have chile strips between two corn tortillas. The shrimp is piled high and finished with roasted onions. Everything was so good and the portions were quite filling for us. The service was also fantastic! I mean, I was traveling on my bike. I was taken aback a little by the price of each taco. It was just under six bucks. Because of that, I did not leave a tip. 13 dollars with tax for two tacos! I seated myself at one of the tables. Bathrooms were located outside around the building. The lady who took my order served my tacos and I was surprised how big the tacos were. They were double the size of a standard taco shell and they were overfilled with ingredients. The ground beef were ample and the lettuce and cheese were overflowing. The lady gave me two squeeze bottles, one with red salsa and one with green salsa. I tried them both with each taco and they were delicious.
