No patients came or went so I stepped up to the counter to ring a bell or something..... while looking for a bell or something to signal the staff that someone was waiting, an iPad that had been left on the counter was accidentally knocked down. An incredibly rude bald man rush out and dished out a bunch of attitude despite an apology. By the looks of the reviews on the site, this location is a total dumpster fire. Rude staff, angry little Gnome( you know who you are) needs an attitude adjustment and a new career. I took my lab slip across town was treated politely and processed immediately for blood work at the San Dimas location. Lots of other locations where you can be treated politely and not ignored. I reported back to my general practitioner and suggested he begin using a different laboratory service as quest diagnostic clearly does not have it together enough to run a business. The experience with this location was okay. I got phlebotomist Andrea and she was nice but she did a rude gesture. I put my wallet and keys in the side table and she tells me "this is my space" okay I understand that but the way she said it made it seem so rude, other than that everything else way okay. The other girl called me over to check me in all while the girl on her phone talked about sending pics. I went to this Quest and surprisingly it was 1000% better than the Quests located in Glendale & Burbank. The place was empty right before they take their hour lunch break (12-1) and even though I didn't have an appointment (ended up here by accident) I was able to get my blood taken right away. It was worth the 25 mile drive to avoid the hell inside of the Glendale Quest where people were actually sitting on the floor due to lack of chairs and even flooding into the hallway. I was actually shocked by how much cleaner and nicer this location was. The guy who took my blood got my vein in one try, which some people can't seem to do, and it wasn't too painful. They got my blood work to the doctor's office in a timely manner. I'd definitely choose this Quest over the ones near where I live. As for the person below- um, it could have been a lot worse. At least they were polite to me at this Quest. I think it's a common thing that the people behind the counters of these places have no idea what is going on since they just refer you to an 800 number if you ask them a single question. There was a blond lady with glasses that was unnecessarily rude. She popped out to get something from one of the drawers near the front counter so I went up to ask if I had time to move my car since I was in 1 hour parking and had been waiting for my 1 pm appointment for 50 minutes. When I said "excuse me?" She put up her pointer finger to get me to stop talking. She then continued to dig through the drawer just to find a urine specimen cup. With that amount of urgency and attitude I thought she was looking for a pot of gold or something but nope it was nothing that she couldn't wait 30 seconds so that I could quickly ask her if I was next. I'm a healthcare worker too so I understand that everyone is understaffed and overworked which is why I didn't complain about the wait but it's so unnecessary to bring an attitude into the situation before I even ask my question. Another patient in the waiting room mentioned that she's only ever had bad experiences with this location so if you live near another location I'd choose that one. I have talked to multiple people on my end who let me know it is fully paid yet I've had no luck speaking to any live person on Quest end. This is irresponsible and I feel bad for patients who may not understand their bill and pay (a 2nd time) The last thing anyone wants to do in their free time is waste time, settling a bill that's been paid! ... Came to my daughters appointment that I made on their website. Came in tried to log in with their Kiosk with a confirmation code that was provided at the time of scheduling the appointment. Entered code and no appointment was scheduled than I entered my child's name and got the same thing. No one was in the front, I had to ask their phlebotomist Mike and he checked his speed sheet and no appointment was set while this was happening three additional people came in with the same problem. So clearly their website as a glitch, I understand it's not the phlebotomist fault for the technical difficulties, however he made it seem we were all idiots and their was nothing he can do. When I ask him can I speak to the person in charge he said theirs no one here! I did get the name of his manager. I hade to take a day off from work thinking we had an appointment. I have been coming to this lab the last few months. Everyone is friendly. Everything is super clean inside the lab area. If you make an appointment of ahead of time your wait isn't long. Even if you dont have an appointment wait time is decent. There is always plenty of parking. The good part is that my veins roll. I've been coming here for a couple years now for regular bloodwork I need done. I have never gotten an appointment and have had my toddler with me many of the times. It's sometimes busier than others, but I don't think I've ever waited longer than about 15 minutes (I have come at various times/days). The parking lot is very full and busy, but I can usually find somewhere to park even if it's not very close or is on the street. Hours are a little odd so I am always checking every time I need to go so I know when I have to leave work to get there. You do need to have your doctor fill out their specific form and make sure there are no typos in your personal information. read more
