It was two weeks out. I had to be realistic, especially with fasting. I needed an AM appt before work. I usually select the first available or the last available for all of my appts. But online I was finding other locations but again, I gotta be realistic. I had to choose the one that's convenient to my location. I had lots of email reminders before my appt. In my texts, I was instructed to click on the link to "Check in" before going inside. I went inside. No need to check in. There were a dozen people in the Waiting Room. It didn't seem like I waited a long time. (The very familiar Sesame Street characters were on the TV. Intertwined with health related announcements.) The female clerk was very nice. I gave her my paperwork and my insurance card. She verified my info. It was easy. As long as I don't look, I'm good. Later on, I double checked my info too. Easy-peasy. She said people try to squeeze in before their actual appointment or they didn't realize that they made the appt for a different location, but get mad at them when they don't honor it. C'mon people, seriously, it's not their fault that you made a mistake. read more

Went in for a Quantiferon on Tuesday and received my results with an email notification 2 days later. I needed it for work and am glad I was able to get in and out within 10 minutes time! I checked in on my phone as soon as I parked. I sat very briefly and was taken back by such a kind phlebotomist. I unfortunately don't remember her name. But she deff provided quality care with safety (ensuring correct patient), kindness, professionalism, and great method for blood draw. Thanks Quest! I had a scheduled blood work appointment at the Durango location in Las Vegas at 10:20 AM. I arrived only two minutes late, but I was informed that my appointment had been canceled or could not be located. Fortunately, I had taken a screenshot of my appointment confirmation as proof. Since my appointment was not honored, I chose to stay and be placed on the waitlist. I started at number seven and moved up to number three after about an hour. However, I remained at number three for an additional two and a half hours without being seen. I asked one of the phlebotomists if there was a staff member dedicated to walk-in patients, and I was told there was none. After waiting for approximately three hours, a staff member came out and informed those of us on the waitlist that service was not guaranteed. I contacted customer service and provided my information, but I feel that this situation requires further resolution. I would like to understand why my confirmed appointment was canceled despite my arrival being only slightly late, and what steps can be taken to prevent this from happening to other patients. Additionally, the current process for walk-in patients appears inefficient and needs improvement. I would appreciate a prompt response and a clear resolution to this matter. Unfortunately, I did not experience a good or professional services here. The lady named "Jennifer" who needs a break from this position. I am sorry to mention her name but I think your vision and skills are not fit in this job. When I called in to sit on the chair... she was still busy with the previous customer's label. She was looking at the computer screen so closed and barely to see things clearly, after verifying my name, then gave me cup for the sample.... I knew I don't need that, so after kissing looked the screen again, then apologized that was her mistake for the wrong item ( the cup)..... after a minute she figured out how many tubes I should have for the blood work.... Finally she put the needle into my vein and something fell down from the cabinets behind her. She turn her back to watch and trying to figure out what was that while the needle was still poking inside.... I suddenly feel so pain at the needle point...! even she apologized again, I want to run out to complain about it!! So bad service she gave to me! No respect and not professional at all! I just don't understand how this place actually operates or that it's even still operating- just shows what a broken system we have especially here in Vegas. *If someone has a question and tries to ask one of the techs they look at you like you've committed a crime. *Older folks really struggle checking in and when it is only a machine when they can't there is no one there to help. *The check in machines do NOT work properly. It's very challenging to check in and often just don't work. Again IF you have to ask for help - the techs are not happy to help. *If you have trouble getting your dr's office getting your paperwork over there is NO ONE to help! After 5 tries to drop my father's stool sample off I was finally able to drop it off but not without the techs being annoyed. I was trying to speak to someone to see if the paperwork finally got to them without having to sit for an hour and a half and it was as if I was committing a crime to get help again after my fifth time being there trying to just drop off the sample. It's kinda gross how they have set these places up like they are herding cows. Get some decent help - we deserve a real person versus a machine that doesn't work or answer questions. Happy I get to go to CPL - they at the least have humans who can help. read more

I got stuck 3 times to the point of pain and then numbness in my right hand. Of course they blamed their lack of skill on me not drinking water. I knew I was coming in for bloodwork and drank plenty. The Durango location sucks read more

5 STARS for Ms. Karen, she was awesome. She was kind, helpful and sympathetic. She made my visit very memorable. She was light with the needle and she made me comfortable. I get it appts is priorities over walk ins. But sitting for 3hrs and counting for a walk in is ridiculous. I don't know how they handle it, but at least take some Of the walk ins too in between. Some patients do walk ins because there Dr ordered a STAt order and making appt same day to have it done is a miracle. Quest should know how to handle this situation. Take those walk ins in between and not let them sitting for hours.. like hours. Those who did walk in have some STAT order. read more

I grabbed the first appointment I could at the location nearest me due to holidays coming up and being very busy with out of town guests. My appointment wasn't until 11am. I got there at 715am. They open at 7am. As you walk in you notice there's no front desk or anybody to meet you. It's just an open lobby with chairs and TVs all around and check in screens on the front wall. You go to the check-in screen and the prompts guide you through entering your information And scanning your ID. Your name pulls up on one TV prompts so you can see all the appointments of the people that are there. There are doors on both sides of the check screens and they were opening multiple times. Meaning there is a lot of staff to come and grab the patient for their bloodwork. I continue to sit there patiently, knowing that my appointment wasn't until 11 AM. Around 8am One of the beautiful women taking the bloodwork came and got me. She told me she noticed me sitting there for a while so she checked my name and figured my appointment was 11 AM so she pulled me in. You go to the numbered room did they tell you and you have a seat. They already have your stuff prepped. Oh, they put the needle in and then the vials for the blood. It goes really quick and it's really easy. I was very grateful she was tender, sweet personable and so quick. I was done in less than seven minutes for a full panel. I could've sat there and talked to her all day though. She was fabulous and had such a great spirit.. I was incredibly pleased with my experience. They have a great system going and it's really nice to not have to be in an office or lab all day. Thank you for your incredible service, especially to the incredible woman that helped me out. Quest diagnostics also has an app where you can go in and see your results. This is pretty cool as my doctor went over it, but I would love to have the number so I can compare in the future as well. read more

Last time I came, Karen helped me but Karen used a big needle and it left a Huge Black and Blue Bruise., I still have it. Right away Rick said that you supposed to use a Butterfly Needle. Everything went smooth as silk. I arrived ten minutes early, clicked the link they texted me and that was the entire check-in process. Five minutes later my name was called. Ambrosia was courteous and professional. When I realized I had forgotten my doctor's prescription for these tests, she was unflustered. She gave me the office email address and took the next patient while I called my doc's office and had them email a copy to Quest. As a phlebotomist Ambrosia was expert at her craft. No big purple mark at the puncture site. In fact, no discoloration at all! All in all a very positive experience. Thanks! read more

I went to Quest on 4835 South Durango Drive Las Vegas, Nevada in Southwest Medical building! I told them my veins are small and roll! She then said I didn't know what I was saying, excuse me but it's my veins and I knew them better than a person who just met me! Then ignoring what I said instead of a butterfly she used a large needle and it hurt me badly! She then said if I didn't like how she treated me the next time ask for someone else but she has been doing this for many years just because you do a job for years don't mean you do it right! This is the second time I've been into this facility and had a bad experience. This time I was there as a walk-in and I had to make an appointment. I waited two hours and the facility was 28 minutes late to get me in the woman finally comes to the door and calls my name. I stand up and getting ready to walk through and she says you can't come in, I said I have an appointment. She said you have to wait for somebody to call your name. I said you just did. I asked some of the other lab text to help me when I first got there. All I was doing was picking up a container. No one told me that all I had to do was go to the app hit a certain button and ask just to pick something up. I asked someone for help them. I'm there just to pick up a container and they tell me I have to make an appointment and wait. Constant conflicting information. Not impressed with the facility or staff. read more

Honestly, Quests whole model with no human interaction or basic etiquette is disheartening. My phlebotomist was good at her job but harsh with everything else and everyone else. They don't make eye contact. They don't want to answer peoples questions in the waiting room and I watched them get mad at every elderly person in there. I'm young. 2 days, 2 experiences, both not positive. Private Buses and vans full of loud unruly people, no reception & rude technician. Read on... On 12/6/23 I went as a walk in and after 2 hours and none of the 3 walk-ins being taken, I watched as bus loads of patients came and left. There were literal private buses and vans of people coming here from a drug rehab or sober living causing 30-40+ appts an hour! So I left and came back next day with appointment. I showed up 30 min early which did not help, as in the 50minutes I sat waiting I again saw buses and vans packed of patients come in again, all loud and causing commotion on their day trip out of their rehab facility. You think I'm joking? When I finally went back iwith techs who only yell a name and quickly close the door, it appears the order for my labs had magically disappeared since the day before and Karen with a K, as she shouted her name when I asked, in room 6 told me too bad with no patience for me to call dr and get it resent. During these visits, to which were UA's so my bladder was about to burst, no one helped any patients in the waiting room that needed help. I swiped screen with 3 fingers given number 106 for help request and no one ever came out. Two elderly patients were confused so I helped them get checked in. I mean I understand everything is digital now but if you switch to no reception you're going to need to still help people who don't understand technology. After Karen was so rude to me, yes she did shout at me when I asked her name, saying Karen with a K, and the commotion from all the druggies that pour into this location, I'll def never come back to this one again! read more
