I made the appt online. I've been here many times. It's convenient when you confirm via text message. Sign in via text message. Yes! This avoids doing anything inside via self-kiosk. The text instructed me to have a seat inside and wait for my turn. Inside there were seats lining the walls. This is a busy location. Pre-covid, it used to be filled. Not the case today (a few weeks ago). I had the fasting appointment so I wanted an early appointment. Since I had already scheduled a doctor's appointment, it was a win-win, so I had two appointments in one morning. I saw my name on the tv so I knew it was soon. It was 7:30, my appointment. Everything was verified. I also had my doctor's work order- this helps out a lot. The lady who drew my blood was nice. She checked to see if I was doing alright. I was done at 8 am. Been to this location several times for doctor-prescribed blood work and while the nurses are friendly and efficient, the process of making an appointment is a huge headache. First, you have to call in to their automated phone hotline to make an appointment, and must wait for the system to slowly figure out where to schedule you-- and if you make any mistakes you have to start over. Same goes for if you have to re-schedule or cancel your appointment for any reason. Then when you arrive on the day and time of your appointment, you still have to scan both your ID and insurance cards at the self-check-in kiosk, and may have a wait time of up to 30 minutes. There is no public bathroom and seating is limited in the tiny waiting room. The way they lie about "taking walk-ins" is pretty scummy considering that's virtually impossible to get seen that way. Just make an appointment beforehand, don't even bother trying to walk in. read more

The wait time even if you have an appointment is long but not too long so be expected to wait for awhile but not too long. I see that this place doesn't have the best reviews and they weren't able to draw my bloodwork without clearance from my doctor, but the staff was so kind. The older African-American lady that was working the door that day was so helpful. She recommended I go to the ER because they couldn't get ahold of my doctor for approval for the blood tests. It's sad to see how pathetic some of our health services have become. Majority of the patients present were senior citizens and it is a cold and empty waiting room with a couple of kiosks and no employees. I watched as just about everyone struggled to figure our how to check themselves in and how to scan their Appointment codes, ID's and Health Insurance cards. Most could not figure it out and fortunately there was a helpful guest trying to help as the employees didn't seem to care enough to assist anyone. My turn comes and i must get a new person b/c she can't seem to figure out whatever she is trying to do on the computer to pull my info.... A few minutes later... 3 people are all gathered around the computer trying to pull my info... all while talking trash among themselves about other patients and people in the waiting room. Super unprofessional to do that in front of a patient in any scenario.... Anyways... they end up getting into a petty altercation with someone in the waiting room about a child not wearing a mask and the staff absolutely lost their mind with anger. I guess these "health professionals" take the mask thing seriously.... But as far as being professional and talking negatively about other patients and not willing to help elderly guests.... They didn't care even a little bit. I've honestly never seen such heartless behavior and i've never felt more sorry for elderly patients who may not have much choice but to deal with these sorts of people for their healthcare needs. I decided i wasn't going to be a part of it and told them how ridiculously unprofessional they are and that i wasn't about to let them stick any needles in my arm today. God help anyone who actually needs these people to treat them. Our healthcare system is very much broken and these people have clearly forgotten why they got into this profession.... Avoid this office for any blood sample services. I had an appointment and waited for 45 minutes, only to be told to sign in again as a walk-in. There is a large lady who is belligerent, loud, argumentative, and hostile. She refused my doctor's and my request to take blood samples for analysis. She would take a urine sample, but said I must sign in a third time to have the blood test samples taken. I went to the Quest Diagnostics office located at 4266 S Durango Dr, Ste I, Las Vegas, NV 89147-8713. Great service, and very pleasant staff. Highly recommended, as there is no waiting. Had to come here because my usual lab did not do the test requested by my doctor. There was no receptionist. They said that they would not accept my insurance (even though my insurance is accepted everywhere) so I had to pay out of pocket and submit it to my insurance. The phlebotomist, Briana, was very professional and helpful. My veins are sometimes hard to find (they hide), but she had no problem. Why oh why Quest did you close the wonderful W. Arby southwest location?? This place needs some work. I realize the public and this line of work is probably not very pleasant. BUT if you are working a customer-facing position you could at least act like your customers are people. Thank goodness I made an appointment. The tiny waiting room was super crowded. There were only a couple names ahead of me on the appointment sheet. No one greets you when you come in, wasn't even sure where to sign in. Woman taking my insurance info at check in was just busy, she was polite enough. But I went back to sit down and then Angeles sort of called my first name - I wasn't sure if she called me and I glanced over to her but she wasn't looking at me or acknowledging she was calling for me. Then she muttered my name again real unfriendly like and I guess that meant I was supposed to go over her?? I walk over and she muttered something rudely about how am I going to take care of that? I didn't quite hear her and I asked politely for her to repeat, and she abruptly said you have $150 balance how you gonna pay for that? She didn't explain what and I thought it was insanely rude the way she asked for payment - I asked for a copy of the statement and I got attitude. After 25 minutes, I went to the front desk and asked...since at this point, the bottles of water I had been drinking were working their magic. I was very rudely told that I needed to wait my turn. I left. I figured that I could find another location later in the day. Well, I found one just down the road! I was welcomed at this location as I walked through the door. A smile and a 'hello'! Had to get a lot of blood tests done for a physician who ordered a fairly comprehensive battery of exams. I was given the check off lists of exams that needed to be performed and to stop by any of the Quest Diagnostics locations around Las Vegas. This particular location is identified as the closest office based on the zip code I provided when calling their toll-free number. I went just after noon on a Tuesday and was expecting a long painful wait without having scheduled an appointment, but was happily surprised that it wasn't too long. While I sat in the waiting room that can seat about 20, I was catching up on the news that was being reported on the HLN channel on a small television in the corner. Once I was called in by the nurse, I was directed to one of the rooms to have what seems like a lot of vials of blood samples collected. During the 4-5 minutes process, she kept making small talks to make the procedure less boring and possibly distract patients that maybe afraid of the needles/procedure. She was very efficient and made the entire process as painless as possible. The lady in the front that checks you in is also very nice. So if you are ever in need of services from a Quest Diagnostics office, I would recommend this location if you live or work near this location. There are plenty of parking, and if you need some food or beverage right afterwards, Boba City Cafe is just a few suites down on the right. 5 for availability of parking 4 for condition of the office 4 for the friendly and efficient services provided 4 for costs, which will vary depending on your insurance coverage. 3 for the automated phone number to locate the nearest office and scheduling appointments. Quest Diagnostics screwed EVERYONE over by removing the front desk. The elderly have no assistance at the kiosk , these are people bien way before the year of the iPhone . Drop off tests need an appointment when it's a simple drop off . They ask you to check in as a walk in and no space is available for a test that expires on the same day. The staff has to stop what they are doing to go and multitask the waiting room . Because quest Diagnostics thought saving some money and removing the middle man (front desk) would save them some pennies . Way to go only reason I gave a two stars is for the staff that is friendly when treated with respect. read more

If you have to do bloodwork, this is the Quest to go to! The front check- in is fast, courteous, and efficient. I have injuries, from a slip and fall, and have to be tested every 6 months because of my medications. I would like to take a moment to compliment, Maria! She is one of the phlebotomist at this location on Rainbow and W. Flamingo. She was so kind, and helpful with my questions and concerns, and didnt rush me or make me feel nervous. She did such an Awesome job at putting the needle in, that I hardly felt anything, and no bleeding! She was courteous, friendly, and she had an Awesome Attitude. She made this experience a pleasure for me. She definitely deserves to be commended, and I'd give her 20 Stars!! Rude rude rude customer service. Angie, the Asian lady working behind the desk is so rude and disrespectful. The first time I had an appointment, i came to her and tried to check in and she said she didn't have me on the list and that they only see 2 people a day with appointments. I came in today ( more then 1 month after incident number 1) and again, she was worse then last time. I came up to her so she can check my insurance and while I was in front of her, she took other patients!!!! And I'm just standing there in shock! I then remind her that I am standing here and she brushes me off to another worker. The other worker then mentions that I indeed had an appointment the first time I came in. Today I was standing in line since 6:35 am (walk-in) I knew it was going to take some time as I was a walk-in. Their system was down- I understand things happen not @ fault of the ppl that work there, however, when the group of ppl I was lining up with walk in the blonde elder lady yells "the system is down so make sure you have the paper work orders on you." Okay no problem for some ppl. More ppl walk in- there's is NO notice on the door until around 7:45am after the place is packed. The girl with the kinky curl hair just went into action & started checking ppl in, however, she wasn't very warm & welcoming (seemed to be bothered) the blonde elder lady just complained & complained out loud. She has stated, "the system have been down since I got here at 6:45am!" So why wait until 7:30am to start calling ppl to get it fixed if she got there @ 6:45am? Then she starts to check ppl in as well; there was a Hispanic lady that did not speak English very well & the blonde starts yelling very loudly, "you need your paper! I don't understand you.. I can't do anything the computers are down!!!!" First, that was soooo rude. She can hear you. She just doesn't understand. Unbelievable. The blonde was also rude to an elderly man & said "well I'm not a computer so what do you want me to do?!" The man walked out upset. We understand the computers are down however there is no need to be rude. We are just as frustrated as you are. I have been going to Quest for a good amount of times for me to do a drug screening. The past 2 times my employer has told me that my drug screening result has been lost so because of that I've had to go back and do the screening again. From my past experience with this, I have been through so much already. I really want to start this job with this employer. If I go tomorrow to the main office and it happens again I am officially done with this facility. With the small of hair I have, I am not going to lose anymore with me going back there so many more times. I am getting married next year so I need all the hair I have. After I go back tomorrow and it happens again, I will go down to the office and complain. This is the WORST EVER! NO appointment now takes over 2 hours to get your blood drawn. They will draw blood for people with appointment that is way earlier than the appointment time ahead of you. Some of us that didn't have appoinment complain. They simply reply that's the way it is. NO apologies for your inconvenience, no understanding for patient with needs that have to wait for hours. Who cares if you already fast for 12 hours, wait another 3 hours and is an elderly. Who cares if you have any other problem? They are rude and didn't care. Bribery is accepted to cut your wait time. One guy walk in there with NO appointment and went to the front desk to talk to them for a good few minutes. The nurse/clerk was laughing and giggling. Guess what! he got his blood drawn shortly after. When he left he gave them some tickets for some show. Wow! I have been here since 12pm. It is now close to 2:30 pm. They close at 3 pm so around 2:30 with so many people still waiting they just rush you in and stab with needle you as fast as they can so they can go home. Who cares if you got hurt in the process. Unblievable! DO NOT USE QUEST DIAGNOSTIC IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. This isn't the only quest diagnostic with problem. You should check out reviews for other locations. Don't be fooled by the rating that is more than a year old. Business has changed. They now only care about bottom line as if they haven't make enough money already. They cut back the location hours, cut back staff. Most of their good staff has long gone. Maybe they don't want to pay for good staff anymore. They don't care if it is inconvenience for you or if you have to wait for hours. Their staff now is just as bad rude and indifference. My wife has a serious infection. She was asked for a stool sample ASAP. She picked up the two kits (though later proved to be missing a vial) at Quest on N. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV. She was able to produce the sample and needed me to deliver it. However, that location closes early, so they said to drop it off at any Quest location. So, being later in the afternoon, I took it to their Mega Center (W. Lake Mead Blvd.) However, they said that they could not take it as I didn't have the order. Well, the N. Rainbow facility had kept the order and the W. Lake Mead center said that they couldn't even pull it up in their systems so as to receive the sample for testing. What poor systems this suggests--and what poor customer service! We lost a day here! read more

Let me start by saying I should have made an appointment, this location is very busy. I arrived at 10:30 AM on a weekday and the waiting area was jam packed. Luckily I had been to this location before so I knew their sign in process even though I was not greeted by anyone when I came in. Paperwork was easy enough and I waited about 30 minutes for the draw. Luvie was my phlebotomist today and she was both pleasant and skilled at her job. I barely felt the needle going in and we had a nice chat that kept my mind occupied. Will definitely come here again but will make an appointment first! My service today was five star but the facility only two based on the desk staff, the wait time and cleanliness of the clinic so I am averaging with the three-star rating. read more

Super crowded computer do it yourself check in. They do keep appointments pretty much on schedule. The lab people are good.

Easily made an appointment online for 12 noon. Signed in at 11:45am with no one running the counter. A few minutes later, a busy phlebotomist breezed by the counter and said to sit down in a very dismissive, unfriendly tone. So I sat and wondered how long would this take. A few minutes later, four of the staff were at the counter talking about their manicures. This must not be a very fun job...I understand...no one wants to be here. But truth be told, I was called at 11:58am, my blood-test was performed, and I was back in my car by 12:03pm. Don't expect southern hospitality. Get in, get out, and move on. Next! On a side note, you can also make an appointment on the automated phone line. I made a reservation on each system (phone and online) at the exact same time in hopes of getting the earliest appointment. Online gave me an appt for the very next day, while the phone system said the earliest appt was three days later. I always recommend smiling and being nice but it may really help if you do this at Quest. In my short time there, I actually got a couple of the staff members to smile. It makes a difference.
