We ordered a variety of items for takeout for a group of 7 today. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to place an order over the phone. The location is also perfect for people living east of the square in McDonough. We tried the Japanese hibachi chicken, Thai spicy mango chicken, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice, chicken egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and the Thai sweet chili and garlic sauce chicken wings. I personally preferred the Japanese hibachi chicken and Thai sweet chili chicken wings the most. The chicken egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken were just okay. The shrimp fried rice was very tasty and the sauce it comes with made it even better. I agree with others that the prices are very reasonable and the food is so much better than the other Asian options in McDonough (which are terrible in my opinion). Very good food and exceptionally personable service for a bare bones Asian spot. I had chicken soup and panang curry. Both soup and curry had carefully prepared fresh celery that was so flavorful that it was the highlight of the meal. And the soup was really hard to stop eating. The curry had more heat than expected but I still enjoyed it. I'm sure they'll make it mild if you ask. Price was not cheap, but fair for the quality and quantity of food. Try this place. This is my second time here and I am still unimpressed with the food...and today was really bad . I got the Tom Yam Kung noodle soup. It was so so very disappointing...it said crab meat but instead it was imitation crab meant which taste way different bc everyone knows that's made out of fish. It was really bad and then it was suppose to have mushrooms but it wasn't fresh mushrooms they were canned mushrooms . Again these have a totally different flavor than fresh mushrooms. There were way way too many bean sprouts and the noodles were not flat Thai noodles but rather like spaghetti noodles. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. So glad we found this cute little hole in the wall! My boyfriend and I went here for lunch last week and were very pleased. I had a very authentic tasting Mongolian beef. The meat tasted fresh, the veggies were crisp and the sauce was out of this world. I couldn't stop eating the (already delicious) fried rice with the thick sauce. My boyfriend had noodles - I think they were the Saigon noodles, but I am not positive the name... - that he loved. They're cooked in a red curry sauce that perfectly complimented the thin noodles. His also had beef which was great. He was very happy. The service was also very good, and both of our meals came with a hot egg roll with chicken. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars from me is because I'm not crazy about having to order from a counter. I like to sit and look at a menu and read about what each option is. I thought I was going to get chopped carrots (as pictured from another yelp reviewer-with beef) but instead I got shredded carrots as a topper/garnish which wasn't stir fry. There is a difference in texture and flavor with chopped stir fry carrots and shredded uncooked carrots. Their vegetable egg rolls was horrible. It was so mushy and definitely not fresh. Very polite service and the Sesame and General Tao chicken were presented on a green leafy bed of baby spinach and the meal comes with one egg roll and fried rice. The restaurant was clean. This restaurant does serve a lot of takeout. Everything always hit and fresh. They use quality ingredients. So far we have tried Mongolian Beef Sweet and Sour Chicken Hibachi Chicken and 4 flavors of wings (which are huge). Pretty standard fast dining style Asian food. We had the Egg Rolls, Sweet and Sour Chicken and the General Tao's chicken. They do have wings and other Japanese and Thai style dishes, but we didn't try them this time. My wife and I liked the two different types of chicken, but the fried rice was a little bland, it didn't have bits of meat or veggies like fried rice often does. We did carryout so I can't speak to the full service, but the place was very clean and nice inside and the lady who rung me up and bagged our food was VERY nice.
