At first I wasn't going to do it, and then he doubled down and said, "You don't look like you're comfortable. I don't want you to feel like I'm giving you a bad deal. Call other places and see if you're getting a good offer from me." Not only did I go and call other places, I quickly noticed that the price that they were offering was a very fair price considering the rest of the market. Ryan was great to deal with. For the sake of efficiency, it would probably be wise to call in advance to ask what it is you're looking to sell or to buy so that they can be prepared for the transaction you want to complete.

Evan is an excellent craftsman at the Piano. I'm sure my piano hadn't been tuned/repaired in 30+…read moreyears, and he did a fantastic job. He even came back twice more to install and adjust a new string for me. One visit was months later, once the string had stretched a bit. He was happy to come back and retune it for me. Communication: Evan's work is closer to art than prescribed work. Some jobs take longer than others, and Evan gave excellent notices (via text or call) for changes in schedule, etc. Skill: My piano had a broken string, a broken leg, sticking keys, and 1/2" of dust under the keyboard. Evan didn't flinch, and tackled each problem with confidence. Attention: He noticed the other instruments in the room, and he talked to me about how his tuning would bring my piano to true A440, making my other tuned instruments jive with the piano. I'm glad he understands the "why" of tuning as well as the "how". Thanks, Evan. I'll keep passing your name to friends/family.
