It was quick and it was Chinese but not much more. In the back of an older strip plaza between Publix and a closed up Winn Dixie. Parking is plentiful since the larger grocer moved out. Once inside you'll see a few tables and then a sideways counter, bad layout. The young man working the counter had a mouthful of food when I walked up and I don't even think it was from their restaurant, maybe that should've been a sign. I ordered an egg roll and some crab Rangoon then paid and grabbed a table. There's a young lady in the back cooking up the orders and moving pretty fast from what I could tell. 3-4 minutes they were calling out my order to come pick up. I took a bite of the egg roll and realized it needed something to add flavor and wash it down so I grabbed some mustard packs from the counter. That helped. The crab Rangoon was decent but maybe a tad over cooked and too crispy. Decent overall but probably won't rush back.

The name stands true. It is quick Chinese. They offer online ordering, or you can call in. There's been a few times I've placed and order and when I arrived, and it was not ready, but they will usually have it ready within a few minutes. The food is subpar. It's not great Chinese but it's not the worst either. It works for a quick and cheap lunch. Tip: There's a UPS next door and sometimes when you are parked in front of the restaurant. There will sometimes be jackasses that will park their vehicle in the lane, blocking the parked vehicles so they can run inside and drop their package off. How you handle the situation is up to you but just a warning.

It's eat in or take out. But it wasn't all that quick for my order of Honey Chicken. No clue of what I said that confused the little kid that took my order but he called an older female over. (I think he might have just done that so he could get back to the video game or cartoon he was watching.) She didn't look friendly. (She spoke no English but would look directly at me as she spoke. The kid would translate.) Again I have no idea what offended her but she thought it was the strangest thing for me to specially request chicken wings? So I tell the kid to tell her that I do not want cut up chicken pieces. I wasn't in the mood for chicken breast or the normal chicken chunks. I just wanted chicken wings coated with the honey sauce. I think we were really lost in translation - the kid might have told her I didn't want my chicken wings cut? At one point we are doing charades with props. I probably should have cancelled then. I don't feel comfortable with an angry cook with access to my food, but the little kid had already ran my card. So I waited. And waited. It probably wasn't that much of a wait. But it wasn't quick! Finally got a look of my chicken at home. Nothing special. It's ok.

I think it's probably hard to come by completely flavorless Chinese food. I mean just no taste. The honey sauce for the honey chicken just tasted like slightly thickened hot water. HOW SWAY??!! Also still trying to figure out how the egg roll was cold if everything else was made to order. You would think the egg roll would be made to order also. The guy who took my order (looked like a teenager, assuming the family owns the place) was nice. But the food just didn't taste like anything.... unfortunate because it was close to where I live.

I would eat Panda Express before ever going back here and I hate it! I barely ate anything! We took an Uber over from the marina we were staying at. Firstly this is mainly a take out place, that's fine. There are four tables. Food was served in to go boxes with paper plates and plastic spoons and forks. Little tiny napkins and no knives. We ordered an appetizer, soup, rice and a main. Everything came out together. We ordered Wonton and Hot & Sour soup. Steamed Dumplings, Vegetable Fried Rice and Orange Chicken that came with white rice. The best part of the meal was the white rice! The Steamed Dumplings were barely cooked with very little meat in them and were probably cooked in a microwave. The Wonton Soup was just ok. The Hot & Sour Soup had so much bean curd in it that should have been its name. I ate half of the cup because that was the best part of my meal! The Vegetable Fried Rice was disgusting. It was soggy and tasteless. I had about one bite. My husband's Orange Chicken had so much breading on it was hard to find the chicken. He ate about half of it because he's not that picky and was really hungry! We got a bonus's Pork Egg Roll because we spent over $40. I ate two bites of it and spit the second one out! We also had two bottles of water, no issues with the water. Overall it was a terrible experience. I will say that many reviews talked about small portions we thought the portions were fine. I'm giving this review one star because I can't give a zero!

The chicken was burnt and looked completely different from what I expected based on the only teriyaki meat photo they have listed on the app. Yes, I understand the picture says beef sticks and I ordered chicken, but I still expected the chicken to be prepared in a similar style, not looking like it barely escaped a house fire. Even though I ordered delivery, I personally drove back up to the restaurant with my plate and explained that I was disappointed. I asked if they could either remake it or let me switch it for something of equal or lesser value. I specifically asked for the boneless spare ribs combination plate, which was the same price. Instead, I was offered either a discount or for them to remake only the meat, throw away the rice, clean out the same plate, and put the newly made meat back in it. :/ The young lady also explained that they offer the chicken teriyaki sticks as a combination platter, but not the regular chopped chicken teriyaki with sauce, which is actually more of what I was looking for. That can only be purchased by itself. I even had to show her the options listed on Uber Eats, which made the whole situation even more confusing. Honestly, this could have been avoided if the regular chicken teriyaki was offered as a combination platter on the app or if the menu made the difference clearer. As for the advertised photo versus what I actually received? Straight up catfish. I should've called Nev. The picture shows glossy, properly cooked teriyaki meat. Mine looked like it had been left on the grill during an emergency evacuation. I've been coming here for the past few years and have never had an issue before. I've always spoken highly of this place and recommended it to other people, which is exactly why this experience was so disappointing. It definitely left a nasty taste in my mouth. Or maybe that was just the burnt chicken teriyaki.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.
