Very good! First time eating here, and we really enjoyed it. We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, & the atmosphere was wonderful, inviting, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing meal. We were seated right away, and our waitress was very nice and attentive. On top of the great vibe, our food came out super tasty, hot, and fresh. We would love to return!

One of our favorite places to eat! We ordered the braised eggplant and house fried rice. Both dishes were delicious! I always order water with my meals and am always disappointed with the water, whih tastes terrible. Tastes a little sulphuric.

Tried YH Dim Sum and it totally hit the spot! Everything we ordered was on point the shrimp rice rolls, sesame chicken, and BBQ pork were all so good. Flavor, texture, portion... no notes. The lychee martinis were a highlight (especially since they were doing BOGO ), and the staff made the whole experience even better super fun and great energy. If you're craving dim sum and a good time, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I took my parents here (they were born in China, grew up in Taiwan) for their last dinner in Jacksonville before returning back to Dallas, TX. My mom wasn't impressed ‍. I thought the snow pea tips with roasted garlic and Cantonese eight treasure hot pot was really good. My kids loved the soup dumplings and the beef chow fun. The Hong Kong steamed chicken didn't have any flavor and was dry. I would not order that again. Our waitress was really sweet, but we had 3 adults and two kids (one was sleeping the whole meal) and they decided to add 18% gratuity to the bill. I always tip at least 20-25% depending on the service, but when they add it automatically I subconsciously get offended and am not inclined to give more gratuity.... I did love the Christmas they had for decoration.

Took my kiddos here for a lunch date. We had calamari , combo fried rice, and a few dim sum dishes. The service was great and food was awesome! The kids really enjoyed themselves and loved the fried shrimp balls, shumai, and the fried rice. If we're in the area again, we will definitely be back.

Always love a dim sum spot! This restaurant was spacious and good for big parties. We came for my uncles birthday. The food was delicious and our waiter was a super nice guy and personable. They had Chinese and Portuguese egg tarts but I liked the Chinese ones better (both were good though!) They brought out a little dessert for my uncles birthday with a candle, which was so sweet!

I typically don't like to leave negative reviews specially for restaurants because I know how hard these restaurant owners work. But yesterday with an exception, I went there with a group of girlfriends for a Mother's Day dinner. The service was super slow. Our waitress never brought our water despite we asked for it multiple times after she took her order and brought out the first couple dishes she disappeared for a good 30 minutes. We had a flat multiple people down to get their attention. Which is wild because it was not busy! Then I asked for a Sprite three times and never received it in the end they brought me a child size to go Sprite cup, which I did not ask for. The gratuity was added already since we had a party over six people however it wasn't mentioned in the original bill, so we thought that it was not included therefore, we added an extra 18%. I feel like this experience was lacking a lot of professionalism and training. Hopefully this restaurant would be able to improve soon because I do enjoy eating there and the food is good.

Very nice spot, lots of parking and seating. Promptly seated and drink orders take. Good service Family style portions, fresh and hot entrees- ordered fried rice, Singapore noodles, black bean fish and congee. All were very good. Will be back

YH Dim Sum is a vast and expansive restaurant typical of the large dim sum halls common in California and Singapore. I went during the week for lunch, and it was relatively quiet. I hope to return for dim sum on the weekend. Service wa friendly and attentive, and the selection is incredible. As I was alone I decided to stick with the lunch specials, which are a great value and provide a ton of food. I started with the hot and sour soup. It was delicious and fresh, with soft tofu and freshly cooked mushrooms. The sour was spicy but nuanced, one of the better examples I have sampled. I then has the Yummy Chicken, which earned its moniker! White meat chicken was stir fried with asparagus and mushrooms in a delicious spicy sauce. It was a very filling and enjoyable meal. I cannot wait to return to try the dimsum!

Good place for family style dinner. They have a rotating table to pass the food around. They have dim sum and family plates to share. They can sit large parties so you can bring all your family.

YH Dim Sum is the first Dim Sum place i have had the pleasure of going too and its simply the best. It perfect captured the asian culture that i grew up watching endlessly when i was younger from anime shows & the atmosophere and food is even better than i could imagine. From countless dishes like the short ribs , dumplings & lomein noodles i always find something new to try each time. The Salt & Pepper shrimp is an AWARD WINNING appetizer that they serve and it honestly is so fulfilling i think it could be its own entree! I have come back more times than i'd care to admit just because of the shrimp!

We've visited YH several times and have always enjoyed the food and service. The restaurant is spacious, making it ideal for large parties, and it's also a great spot for celebrations. I am so glad that the dim sums are now available during dinner! My go to orders are Beancurd roll, pork and shrimp Shu mai, roasted duck, fried rice and Mongolian beef. They have so many options and so far everything that I have tried were good! They also have a bar for those who like to have a few drinks. I encourage everyone to visit YH!

Had a tasty experience. We started with a couple apps the salt & pepper shrimp and egg drop soup. The soup was so great and enough for 4 people. It had veggies in it making it a hardy soup. The shrimp were good just wish the seasoning stuck to the shrimp more instead of scooping it on. We then went into some dim sum. The broth in the soup dumplings was very flavorful I wish I could just a get bowl of that! The truffle shrimp steamed dumplings were good and hit the spot for any truffle lover. I enjoyed the fried shrimp balls they were the same great filling I'm use too just without the crunchy wonton strip exterior. The roasted duck was also tasty. Definitely will be back to try some other dishes.

Turnip cake, fried pork-filled dumplings, and fried sesame balls.

Tucked away off Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin, Lucky Cat Dim Sum serves some of the freshest dim sum in Jacksonville. Everything arrived steaming hot, a small detail that makes a big difference. Dim sum is meant to be eaten fresh from the basket, not after a leisurely stroll around the dining room. The classics were all excellent. The chicken shu mai were substantial, flavorful, and held together beautifully. The black pepper beef short ribs were fall-apart tender. The fried shrimp balls delivered the kind of crunch that announces itself before the flavor arrives. The barbecue pork bun was pillowy soft and packed with a sweet-savory filling that lingered long after the last bite. Dessert was equally successful. The mango mochi had the ideal chew and was loaded with chunks of ripe mango. The taro Lucky Cat bun, shaped like the restaurant's mascot, could have coasted on appearance alone. Instead, the filling was smooth, lightly sweet, and thoughtfully restrained. What separates Lucky Cat from every other dim sum restaurant in Jacksonville is its willingness to have fun. The menu is filled with East-meets-West creations that could easily become gimmicks in less capable hands. Everything Bagel Buns, Buffalo Chicken Buns, and other familiar flavors offer diners an approachable gateway into the world of dim sum. The standout was the Cheeseburger Shu Mai. It sounds like the sort of thing that should fail spectacularly. Instead, it works. Seasoned ground beef wrapped in a delicate shu mai wrapper and topped with melted cheese. The beef carried a bold Cajun kick, the cheese added richness, and somehow the whole thing remained balanced. It tasted far bigger than a single bite had any right to. I've eaten at every dim sum restaurant Jacksonville has to offer, and Lucky Cat stands at the top of the list. It delivers the classics with confidence while bringing enough creativity to keep even seasoned dim sum fans interested. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.
