Very pleased. I came in for a trim to shorten a haircut I had already gotten. I'm not sure who I saw, but she was really nice. I didn't know exactly how much I wanted off, but she was more than willing to cut more if I didn't like it. She ended up getting it right immediately. Walk ins are welcome. Although it is not exactly like having an Italian hair styler, I'm pretty satisfied with Quick Clips. This is the first place in Houston that I received a good haircut. Other places I tried are either very expensive or don't do a great job. The personnel is very kind and nice. Nancy is the name of the owner and I always like to make jokes with her. I am Italian and she let me exercise my poor Spanish anytime I'm there. She is the most talented hair cutter but the other employees are very good as well. They have few spots for parking, in front of the saloon but you can easily find other spots around. Guys pay about $15 per haircut and on Tuesday they run $10 offer. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience at Quick Clips. The salon is not in a Hispanic dense area, but they were playing Hispanic radio -- I guess I had to take it. But the employees continued speaking Spanish to each other loudly behind English speaking customers. That was rude! At the end, the stylist charged me more than twice of what was explained earlier. I felt I was scammed! Later when I was styling my hair, I noticed my right side upper layer was one inch shorter than the left side on the back. Bad technique on top of rudeness and ripping off. This salon is conveniently located and the stylist are super friendly. However, be ready for the upcharge! I went in today for a women's shampoo cut and blow dry and was charged $74!!! Nancy was awesome but I was not expecting a separate blow out charge. A woman's shampoo and cut is $29 which is reasonable for this salon but typically an added blow dry is about $20. They shouldn't charge a customer an a la carte price of $45 for a blow dry when you are getting other services. $45 just to blow dry your hair!!! If I'm going to pay $75 I'm not going to go to a budget salon. P.s. Customers don't like to be surprised at check out. If your upcharge is substantial you may want to mention that to your client. The ladies are pretty good about getting my hair to look presentable and can do pretty basic cuts. I asked for 3 inches off the bottom with layers and left with almost 5 inches off and short uneven choppy layers that I had to fix myself when I got home. Luckily my hair was really long so I had a lot of room for error but the fact that the layers itself almost took off two additional inches is crazy!
