My wife and I have used this small shop a few times since Christmas 2017. That Christmas I gave my wife a vintage ring she saw in a little shop in Orange, CA and fell in love with! Over the course of the past seven months she found the stones side so heavy that the ring would slide around her finger so that the stones would be under her finger, she caught a prong on her sweater so it pulled away from the stones, and the band developed a crack because it was so thin. Living in Buena Park, it was a hassle to go all the way back to Orange to see about repairs. Jay's shop is 10 minutes away. Me and my boyfriend came in with a ring my grandmother had as her wedding set. She wanted the both of us to have it for our future. I was very nervous with something as precious and invaluable but we came in and were so blown away. We had to upside the ring about 4 sizes and we got to watch the whole process in the back. He asked us questions and got to know us as a couple. He knew the meaning of this ring and was careful and precise with it. He even polished and made it look like a brand new ring. I'm so excited that I have this beautiful sentimentmal ring in my size and there's no trace of any work done to it which is exceptional. Jay is the best! He custom designed a ring and necklace for me using my own diamonds since they were sentimental and used some of my old gold I had for credit towards those. They turned out better than I even imagined! He also got them done so quickly in less than a month! He is very affordable and has a layaway plan which I took advantage of. I called in to ask about watch repair prices since I had no idea what a repair would cost on a citizen watch with eco drive. I started by letting the person know that I had the citizen watch and asked how much it would be for repair. In a rude tone he said I can't do anything unless you brig it in and I open it. To me it's understandable that you want to see what the issue is before quoting. That's not the issue, the problem is how someone looking to use your services gets a response in a rude tone. Small issue....who cares. I then try to ask if he has a ballpark figure so I can get an idea if I want to fix the watch or just let it be for now. Before I could finish my sentance, he says "I have other people ok the line, you have to wait." I responded with "what was that?" Because I didn't hear him clearly as I was talking. He again said, "I have other people on the line, you have to wait to answer your question". He immediately put me on hold in which I immediately hung up. Again, completely understandable if you want to place me on hold to let others know that your on the phone with someone, but how about treating people with respect that are interested in your services. Maybe you guys are good? Per the reviews it looks like it, but I'll never use your services after that phone call. read more

Sorry but I got so disappointed with this place, I called before I came to this place and asked if he knows how to fix a "Puzzle Ring, he said he can fix anything, I asked him to attached the missing piece of the band since its a 6 band puzzle ring, by cutting it and soldering back, he charged me $60 for the soldering and putting all the band together so I agreed. I came back after 30 minutes and he's still checking in "you tube" on how to attached the puzzle ring, so I instructed him to do the soldering first before he can put the band together and he also asked me to watch the "you tube" so I could learn how to do it, I told him I can watch it at home and follow it, so I told him that I am not going to pay $60 since he only did the soldering, because the other jewelry repair shop only charged me $10 for soldering, he got mad and I should not ask for a discount, but he doesn't know how to put it together, I paid him $45 but still I feel scammed by this guy, look for another Jewelry repair... he will charged you like hell and he cannot FIX anything. Anyway I went home watched "you tube" for the solution of "puzzle ring" I put it together for at least an hour. I fixed it myself. read more
