Chris saved the day again. Told a friend about this place after her optometrist told her they couldn't fix her frame. She then went to Quick Fix last week with her Bvlgari prescription frame - broken at the hinge. Chris had to dig a slightly larger channel because of the size of the hardware to accommodate the replacement hinge. Not only was he able to do all that, but he was able to do it all within an hour while she waited. Total cost $54....and they look perfect. read more

When you need it you need it. I had been having trouble with my glasses hinge and the place I bought them wasn't able to fix them but recommended Quick Fix. Drove by and was immediately helped by the young woman who runs the shop. She looked at the glasses and said she thought the hinge screws were stripped. She said to come back in 30 minutes and she would have everything fixed. Ran a couple of quick errands and returned. Apparently the wrong sized screws had been put in. She also adjusted the frames and I walked out very happy. Very convenient and reasonably priced. The best part is I had fixed glasses back in short order. Highly recommend Quick Fix. read more

Took my husband's titanium glass frames in for repair. Service took less than an hour. I just got comfy in the waiting area and enjoyed being on my phone and choosing to do nothing else. :) The young lady is professional and provides top-notch customer service. Frames were fixed quickly even though she served other customers (pick up and drop off) as well. She didn't like the look of the wire piece that goes over the nose so she painted it. No extra charge. Got home and my husband was very impressed and very happy. He has been using repaired frames daily for a week and all remains well. Service comes with a three-month warranty. I broke both pairs of my glasses and searched for an eyeglass repair shop. This place popped up and was only 5 minutes away. I walked in and immediately the technician said he could fix my glasses in less than an hour. My glasses were fixed as promised and I am pleased. My glasses almost look like new again. I appreciate the quick service and the convenience. I'm able to see again and I didn't have to return to my eye doctor for new lenses. The price is really good too. There's plenty of parking right in front of the store. If you are hungry a few stores down there's a breakfast shop that you can eat at while you wait. I have had 3 pairs of glasses repaired here. The first time they charged me $35 to sauder the arm back to the frame. About 4 months later, they charged $40 for the same service on another pair of glasses (which was annoying, but I said OK, and paid the extra $5). I returned to the store two months later and they attempted to charge me $50 for the same service on yet another pair of glasses. At this point, I asked to speak to the owner, who confirmed that the cost was $50. After I showed her my receipt for the same service on another pair of glasses for which she charged $40 only two months earlier, she agreed to charge me $40. I gave the company 2 stars because they do great work. However, the owner could not explain the $15 price increase within a 6-month period, especially in the midst of a pandemic. Unbelievable! That's all I can say. Most people with glasses looking like those I took in for a relative would just discard them. I wish I had known about this place years ago when 4 of us in my household wore glasses and had to wait at least a day or two or even a week while the opticians sent them off for repair. While visiting The Mall at Columbia I stopped in Sunglass Hut to see if they did repairs and was told no they couldn't fix my sunglasses but check the eye glass place downstairs. Well I did and they said they couldn't fix them but recommended this place. Nice to find it on my way home. I stopped in and received a friendly greeting and was told yes we can fix them in about an hour. I sat down and waited. Several more customers came in. Popular place since the weather has been getting nicer. It wasn't even close to an hour before I was told my glasses were done. Super pleased with the speed of service and the cost. I went here twice to get my glasses repaired. The first time he said my glasses were too difficult to repair, and instead brought me another cheap frame from the back. Then he just popped out my lenses and put it in the new frame (charged me $40 just for that!) So I thought fine...at least I have a new pair of glasses. The second time I went I asked for what I thought was a pretty easy repair. Again, he said it would be difficult to repair, and offered to take the lenses out and put them into another frame for $50. Anyway, this time he ended up doing the repair but that was after I refused the replacement frame. Okay....are you a glasses repair place or do you always tell customers their repair can't be done?? Anyone can pop out a lens and place it into another frame. I'm not sure if this guy is the owner or just an employee, but it was the same guy both times. He also had a bit of an attitude problem. I would have given more stars if he was friendly at least. I think next time I'll just spend the money on a new pair of glasses rather than go to this place again. read more

Quick Fix Eyeglass Repair was much better priced for a laser solder repair! -Only $40. -The "other eyeglass repair" company: Frame Mender, in Rockville, MD charged $60.00 (rip-off) plus a $5 fee if you wait! The repair person at Quickfix was very, very nice and no extra charge for doing it while you wait (unlike Frame Mender). There is also a huge shopping center 5 min away with a Target, etc and also a Costco in Laurel too. I did all my shopping while the 30 min. repair was done. I was told me next time, I can mail my glasses to them and they'll fix them and mail them back to me! (of course a charge for postage) -Excellent. You can use the small flat rate USPS box for $5.20 (plus I would recommend insurance when mailing) -and save your gas. Perfect work & very pleased! I highly recommend them! PS: Eyeglass repairs are tax deductible under medical! Save your receipts! read more

My semi-frame glasses had been stepped on, twisting the frame and breaking the filament that held the lense in place. I first went to America's Best where I had purchased them and they told me they couldn't be fixed and I needed another pair...yeh right! I Yelped for a nearby repair shop and found Quick Fix! I sat on my eyeglasses, and broke one arm temple completely off. The other one was crooked. I went to the abovementioned store to have the broken arm temple replaced. The rep noticed the other one was crooked and in danger of falling off. She fixed them both. You can't even tell they were broken. It's never a great feeling when you look down on the ground and notice the frame on your glasses is broken. It's an even more hopeless feeling when you can't find a frame to replace it at any eyeglass store and you need a new RX for replacement lenses. Fortunately, my local costco gave me a business card for this place and I gave them a shot as my last hope. My glasses were fixed in a timely manner at a reasonable price ($47). Took less than 30 minutes to repair as well. I'm thankful this place exists and I definitely have to recommend it to anyone else finding themselves in the unfortunate, yet common, event of having their glasses break. read more
