The space was very clean and calm, other than some people walking by our room and talking - since we had a curtain door, there obviously wasn't sound proof which was fine because it was still really quiet and calming. We had Lulu and Sachi as our masseuses who worked at good pace and pressure. Usually I feel dizzy or sore from the massages but they did everything just right. I would definitely come back!

I left a message around 4:38 PM today, requesting a 7:00 PM massage appointment with a specific therapist. I received a callback at 4:41 PM confirming both the appointment and therapist availability. However, at 6:30 PM, I received another call saying they had "just received" my message and asking if I still wanted to book. When I explained that the appointment had already been confirmed earlier, I was then told that the therapist had been booked for another client about 10 minutes prior and asked if I wanted to move my massage to 8:00 PM instead. My answer was no. Situations like this are the easiest way to lose long-time customers. Confirming an appointment and then failing to honor it less than an hour before scheduled time reflects poor customer service and poor coordination. While I have enjoyed coming here over the years, there are many other places offering the same service with far better professionalism and reliability.

My concerns were legitimate when my masseuse walked in to the massage room, and when I asked her for more cushions and/or pillows (the massage bed is as stiff as a board and there is no pillow, only the cushion they use for face down massages), she told me I would start off face down first. I told her I was pregnant, and she confirmed that she did not know. By this point, I was still cautiously giving them a try, but this was making me a little weary. The massage was lackluster... it was more of a generalized light rubbing with some parts feeling like a soft touch. I asked for more pressure, but didn't get it. I thought the pressure was a concern because of pregnancy, but when she continued on to massage my calves and feet (usually off limits when pregnant due to pressure points that are believed to induce labor), that's when I figured maybe it can all be chalked up to not having much experience. I don't think I'll be back, unfortunately.

Once I got a small bruise on my face after a 90-minute massage so I stick with the 30 to 60 minute massages now. I've seen several people here and had deep tissue, Swedish, Thai aroma, and head, neck and shoulder massages. Most of the time I've had a great massage but some have left me with pulled or sore muscles so I tend to stick with several people. Overall, I really like Darwan, Penny and Grace because they check in with you and communicate well. Siri and Lisa are good though once Lisa caused a pulled muscle in my back because she twisted it a little hard in one direction. She seemed to neglect parts of my body and over focus on other areas. I don't see her anymore because sometimes her nails were too long and they had an annoying unpleasant sensation which was very distracting. Siri has mostly been good. I think you need to find which massage and therapist work best for your body and needs. Parking is good and the receptionist is really nice and knowledgeable about the different types of massage. They offer hot tea, water, and a special Thai tea they make which is very good. If they could change the headrests I'd book longer massages.

First the staff are warm, professional, and helpful every time I come in. I have used their services for foot massage, back massage, and my favorite, the massage where they walk on the back. I have a background in kinesiology and it is clear that the massage therapists are very knowledgeable in the musculoskeletal system and are very skilled in their techniques. Each time I come in, they focus on any request I have, for example my forearm was tight from my sport, and they were able to work on exactly what I needed. I left feeling so much more relaxed and comfortable. The atmosphere is always calm, including other patrons. Highly recommend!

Both my husband and I got 90 minute massages - he got the hot stone and I got the deep tissue, each for $105. I haven't had a deep tissue massage before so I wasn't sure how it would be vs. a "normal" or Swedish massage. The masseuse started and asked if the initial pressure was fine, which it was. Over the course of the massage though, it ended up being a lot on certain areas so I did ask for the pressure to be reduced, which she did. For 2-3 days after, I still felt soreness all over my body, but it felt good when I wasn't putting pressure on my shoulders with a backback or something. Next time I'll try the Swedish since their prices and strength are so good!

I tried to stay open-minded because I understand every therapist has a different style, but the overall experience felt awkward and not very professional. Instead of feeling relaxed, I found myself feeling uncomfortable and counting down the time. The most uncomfortable part happened after the service when I was asked directly how much tip I was going to give. I personally don't mind tipping for good service, but being asked in that way felt very pressured and took away from the experience. However, based on this visit, I left feeling disappointed and uneasy rather than relaxed. I always try to support local businesses and usually prefer giving second chances, but unfortunately this was not a positive experience for me, and I would not return. My leg was aching so they massaged my right, which was the only one that needed a massage, I admit that the pain went away, however I ended up with bruises. I had mentioned that I cannot handle deep massages and I I told the lady how I wanted it massaged because some times the massage was OK depending on her technique I guess, but anyways I left with bruises. Lastly, I understand that going to spa services that you have to tip but she pretty much asked me for the tip, which I don't feel is very professional or staff etiquette and it's unfortunate that they charge $2 if you pay with a debit card. I still tipped the woman. I'm surprised they are still in business.
