Writing from the massage chair as I wrap up my first visit -- and I am already a regular…read more This place was a Mother's Day gift, and what a gift it was. I came in for a 90-minute Vital Premium Scrub and left completely transformed. First, the space itself: spotlessly clean, with none of the black mold issues I've seen creeping into older spas in the Saratoga area. That alone is a relief. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Young, and she is in a class of her own. Small but telling detail: she uses a gel face pillow so you can lay face-down comfortably the entire session. If you've had enough massages, you know how much a folded towel starts to hurt after an hour. I asked if this was a house standard -- it's not, it's just her. That kind of thoughtfulness sets the tone for everything. Her scrub technique was the best I've experienced in 20 years. No exaggeration. Her massage hit every trigger point without me having to redirect her once -- pressure, focus, timing -- all dialed in perfectly. The front desk staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and they personally walk new guests through the space so you never feel lost. The one area with room to grow: the aftercare products in the drying area. Having visited spas in Palo Alto, and even facilities in South East Asia, I've come to appreciate a quality face lotion and hair cream post-scrub -- especially when you're not carrying your own. A small upgrade there would make this truly flawless. Also worth noting: there's a communal lounge with 30 minutes of complimentary massage chairs, laptop workspace, and free WiFi. Hidden gem. ANDDD there's a cafeteria!! This is my new favorite spa. Hands down.

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!

I was way overdue for a relaxing treatment, and Burke William didn't fail to deliver! 10:15 AM on a Friday in late May, parking was easy, and most of the stores on The Row were just waking up. Ascending the staircase to the front doors of BW, almost feels magical. I was quickly greeted, given a key to my locker, and then the doors of Oz opened! The lighting is just right, and the facilities are spotless. The robe awaiting me in my locker, unfortunately, was a size petite... I'm 6'1" 250 pounds though! I encountered another patron (i think) who reached through an 'employees only' door to find a 4XL sized robe which fit perfectly. Took a 15 minute jacuzzi. After helping myself to some cucumber, water and lemonade, I relaxed/napped in the waiting room for about 10 minutes... Waiting for my name to be whispered. The shiatsu/Swedish massage from Deirdre (sp?) was exquisite! Right pressure. Right amount of engaging conversation. She answered my questions and offered suggestions with just the right amount of empathy. After the 50 minute massage, I returned to the locker room for a session in the sauna, steam room, and took a shower. I wish the changing area in the locker room was a bit roomier, but that is my only gripe.

Customer Service was horrible no remorse or didn't feel like they cared about how upset I was Didn't even call me the night before when she said they knew about it since the night before or I would've never made the trip out. Wasn't really give any other options but to wait till 1:30PM so I did not take that option since I was already in the area at 9AM. Horrible! For how expensive it is this was the worse customer service! My email is amarie18@yahoo.com if you Need to reach out

From the start, everything felt calm, like a perfect little reset for my day. A huge thank you to Mia for treating me like a queen. She took such great care of me and made the whole experience really special. Every step was super relaxing, and I could literally feel the stress easing away as she worked her magic. Now, my hair is incredibly soft, silky, and beautiful. I can't stop touching it because it feels so amazing. Nothing beats a self-care moment that makes you feeling refreshedand totally pampered. My fiance booked us a massage + facial +head spa. Now I know that with all that, there has got to be a focus and for this visit it was definitely the upper back massage. My lady went innnn and I loved it! Couple things from this package that I didn't find impressing is the enclosed massage hole. I dint feel like I had great airflow and the idea of breathing in from a sink just doesn't seem appealing nor was it enjoyable. The facial; the products didn't sting however it did when it got in my eye, I was a bit panicked bc I felt a bead in my right eye, I washed it off, it got better as the day went on but my eyelids were on fire for days, she didn't leave my under eye or my top lid alone instead she applied the products on top of them which I thought was interesting. The final thing I wasn't a fan of was that she kept putting her fingers inside my ears! I've been to a head spa in Orange County and they try their best not to wet your ears AT ALL, I mean, think about it, you're relaxing, and then boom! Water in your ears and fingers in your ears... idk, maybe to some it's not bothersome but to me it was uncomfortable. The ladies were so sweet though and nice, they blow dried my hair halfway which is totally fine. I definitely think there are couple things to consider but it wasn't a horrible experience! They did a wonderful job on the massage and setting the ambiance to be as relaxing as possible so I give them that!
