I let him know what was happening and explained that I was a small, lady run business and couldn't afford to be down days as that this was a working trip and I was flying home in 7 days. He completely understood my predicament and that time was of the essence. He asked for the make and model of my laptop and gave me a few options that would be the utmost convenient for me with minimal disruption to my work. The battery came in and unfortunately it wasn't a battery issue but that my laptop was well past it's prime and toast. Chase, an employee was incredibly helpful with answering all my questions on what type of laptop to purchase for my needs. He offered to remove any data needed off the laptop and also offered to dispose of my laptop. So yes, I didn't end up needing their services and yes, I am still leaving a 5 star review. This is a mom and pop type of shop located directly across the street from the 7-11 on Jackson Street in Hayward. I have an Apple iMac and the work was completed without issues. I would strongly suggest either texting or calling Vicente first, rather than just showing up to his shop to let him know you're on your way to see him. As I mentioned earlier, this is a small business so there may be times where he needs to leave his shop momentarily and you may miss him if you just show up without giving him a heads up. I sent my chromebook for screen repair 2 weeks ago, the ower responded with a promise to repair in one hour with $160 estimate 2. Upon receiving the chromebook, he changed to color is different so new estimate is $240 and need to wait for the part, new estimate 1 week. Ok, I thought fine, that happens 3.
