He was able to diagnose my problem over the phone and when he arrived and investigated further, was able to quickly stop the sewer water coming out of my toilet. He then spent the necessary hours (many of them!) working with my complex's HOA & management company to further diagnose and treat the root of the problem (a clog in the complex's main drain pipe) with cameras & hydro-jetting. He took time to explain to me exactly what was happening and why. He also identified other things about our drain lines (revealed by his camera) that will cause future problems and provided a detailed report, videos & recommendations for how to address them. I was doing home renovations and the floor installers kept finding leaky angle values when trying to disconnect appliances. I needed a plumber fast and Philip was very accommodating. He replaced the valves at a reasonable price and even replaced the equally old non leaky valves so all the valves were upgraded to quarter turn valves and helped cut the drain pipe for a small freestanding vanity that needed to be removed for the floor installers. SHIT HAPPENED! Literally. The shit was flowing out of an open tube on my driveway. I called one company to estimate and they found the leak. The cost of the project left me no choice only to ignore. It was before Christmas. But at the end of January I found the pavers around the leak sank. It is dangerous. So I called Phillip who worked with me before. I have to use someone I trust to start such a big project, also someone who specializes in sewer line. He proves to be better than I imagine. He is PROFESSIONAL. This guy has done this for decades and I got lucky for I don't know anything about pipes and lines. First he fixed the leak! It was something! They broke my bricks digging at least 1 feet under. It took them two-three days to fix that problem. And it did not even bother our daily flushing. Secondly he gave an analysis of my sewer line. I was debating if it was necessary at this moment to spend money on replacing my pipes of cast iron. He showed me the video and I saw the roots in the pipes. So if I don't get lucky, I will spend more in the future. It was such a hard decision. Finally I made up my mind because I don't want to see my driveway sinking again. So I asked him to give me the best price he could. He did. Now I don't regret my decision, especially I saw all the tree roots in the trench and all old pipes of almost a century old. The installation of new sewer line was so impressive. Thanks to the new technology. It was fast, dirt-free, noise-free installation. My house went through a transplant surgery, not a cosmetic one. No sewer line, no house. It will add value to my house. I chose to use a licensed plumber and rooter. Philipp applied for several permits to conduct the projects, and passed two city inspections. Knowing all materials and engineering approved and inspected is very important, especially a costly project that may increase your house value. Keep them all in the files. Philipp did something to right the wrong design of my sewer line while replacing it. He added two clear outs. Even my neighbors praised Phillip for being very professional. He cleaned thoroughly every time after he worked. All the crew is very professional. At the end of the project, I can say I am proud of making a good choice. Excellent service and glad I found a reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy plumber in the SFV. We had an emergency plumbing situation on a Saturday night where our downstairs toilet was overflowing due to water activity in our unit and the neighboring unit (we live in a condo). After calling four different 24hr plumbers and having no service available until the next day or later, Phillip answered my call. He immediately started asking questions to actually understand what was possibly going on, whereas the other plumbers heard my first statement and then said not available.
