Vehicle inspection! Came in to get my car inspected, I drove by and saw the three guys working there out joking around in the driveway and no cars in the bays, so I stopped by to make sure I could get right in and outta there quickly. The mechanics got to work right away flipping the high beams on, honking the horn and working the blinkers to make sure that the car met the minimum government standards for safety for a motor vehicle. The cost was only $7, which is mandated by the state of Texas. They got me in and out of there quickly, and did a bunch of paperwork for only seven bucks. In the waiting room, they offered free coffee, recent magazines, and the History Channel on the TV in the air-conditioned waiting room. Tried to get a simple car inspection here. Stopped in 3 times in 2 days. Each time, I was told that the guy who does them is "out." Yesterday, it was a couple of hours of dental appointment. Today, it was lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at 1:30 p.m., he was "out." Wondering if he really exists! Definitely don't trust this business. read more

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. They screw up the repair & then tell you to tow it to a dealership to get it fixed. Management is unprofessional. Interesting that the Quick Lane on I-10 were able to complete same repairs with no issues. read more

First off, the personal interactions I had here were fine. However, after I had an oil change and tires rotated one of my hubcaps popped off and that tire will not hold air for more than 4-6 hours. I took my car back and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with the tire. It was flat by the end of the day, again. Also, I had an inspection done that was then not properly put into the system and I now have to renew my car registration in person instead of online. And, they are not able to re-enter the inspection or print it off because the machine isn't working. I would not recommend this shop to anyone unless they have lots of time to spend sitting waiting for their car to be looked at and not fixed. Oh, and wait in line to renew your car registration. read more

I got four guys working on my car at once, manager is out there watching and making sure everything goes good. They have a great special right now 20 dollars. Oil change, tire inspection, brakes checked, everythinnngggg checked. They are so nice and friendly and very professional. Will be back tom with my other car, and will not be going to firestone anymore. read more

Somehow they always find something that my car needs work on even though it is basically new. Not to mention the "state inspector" they have that never seems to be there and always calls in sick. I called ahead to ensure that the person who does inspections was working. The receptionist confirmed that he was but told me to come back after lunch. When I arrived around 2 PM, one of the employees who was taking a smoke break told me that it wasn't possible to get an inspection because the inspector called in sick. Either someone is lying, lazy or misinformed. SMH. read more

For years, I've always taken our trucks here. Lately, they've been raising prices. I paid $160. It's now the most expensive place I have found. Miscellaneous fees, shop charges, and expensive labor. They charge $12+ for a gallon of DEF. It's no longer worth it. What ruined it for me was that they told me that the oil and fuel filters for my truck aren't in stock and they are hard to find. So the manager SUGGESTED that I order my own filters at home and they'll install them during my service. Okay, great! No problem. I ordered 2 each of all my oil filters, both fuel filters, air filter, and water-in-fuel sensor. I bought genuine OEM filters from the dealer. Today, I showed up for service with a box of my expensive dealer filters. Quick Lane just told me that they will NOT install customer-provided filters. Wow. Total waste of time. I'll take my trucks elsewhere that isn't so expensive. Wasted my time. read more

WOW. Should have read the other (bad) reviews and I would have stayed away too. High prices and bad/long service are not a way to run a business. Simple oil change and coolant flush cost me way more than discussed and took 2.5 hours. Apparently they picked up the wrong part. Stay away. There are too many good oil change shops that want your business. read more

If you have unlimited time this is the place for you. First oil change they overfilled by 1 quart. Second time they left two screws off the skid plate. Four trips for two oil changes. Unsat! read more
