Poor experience with quality of work at this place. Left with two error codes on check engine light that didn't previously exist and they opened up electric wire harnesses and left all the exposed wires out. Responses from management were wrong, as later verified by further analysis. They kept quoting for further work for problems that didn't exist. One of the codes they wanted $600+ more dollars to "fix" was turned out with second opinion elsewhere to be a cheap camshaft position sensor (under $30) on the exterior of the engine, a five minute fix, one bolt one wire clip. Unfortunately I can't recommend this shop. Still dealing with further damage caused by this shop. read more

S&S Tire worked carefully and professionally on my vehicle's air conditioning system, after not working for more than 10 months, They had it up and blowing freezing cold in a matter of three hours on a busy Saturday morning. I live more than 30 miles away and I will never trust my vehicle's mechanical needs to any other individuals or shop. S & S respects their clients time and money!!!!! read more

Rick! This place is a joke. Messed up my car. Do not recommend. Fixed one problem, charged extra, caused more problems, then quoted more and more and more to keep fixing the stuff they caused. Finally left. Poor workmanship and lack of integrity. Would not take responsibility. read more

Took my car for a coolant replacement sensor and with no disappointment had my within 1hr and 30 min and being very reasonable had the check my ac and add Freon! And let me tell you it's cooling ! Like I just bought it and very reasonable I give 5 plus stars I highly recommend read more

Don't Take your car To This Place, They knew they didn't fix my car as they said went back after several calls explaining was there 30 to 45 minutes while the mechanic checked over his work took my car four drive come back look at me I say it's not fixed he look at me in a puzzled face then the young man comes out and say oh no it's fixed it's just the other work you need done but the same codes are still showing up how is that he gives me another excuse took my car checked out by someone else he says man the screws haven't even been touched how could they have done the work..... Still have same oil leak Same codes.. read more

Went to get inspection and the guy would not let go of his phone. He was just staring at his phone the whole time while he spoke to me while he drove my car into the garage to do the inspection. He was so busy looking at his phone another car trying to exit the business drove up behind him and he didn't even notice until he was going ti try and back up.He tried to charge me $15 to change my headlight (which is acceptable) however when I said no I would do it myself he said "I'm going to fail you and still charge you." I said that was fine and paid him . To which he responded "I'm trying to run a business." He went to the back of his shop and never came back out not even to bring my car out of the garage or give me a receipt. He was likely still enthralled with his phone. For someone trying to run a business he has no customer service skills read more

What a way to be pleasantly surprised by the way he took the time to kindly open the door as he proceeded to go through the motions of getting my vehicle inspected for its annual report needed for car tags. I had my oil changed twice at Mr Mechanic and the third oil change I took my vehicle to the colonade Car Care on I-10 and Wurzbach and was told that who ever changed my oil last had stripped my oil pan so they had to retread the oil pan and replace the bolt. I was charged 149.00. I took my receipt to Mr Mechanic to show them the damage they did to my vehicle. I was told by the owner Michael that they didn't do any damage to my vehicle and refused to take responsibility for damage they did to my vehicle. I also filed a complaint with BBB which they never responded.

He whipped out his iPad to run the diagnostic and within five minutes I was on my merry way, as he confirmed it was just a loose gas cap. I tried to give him ten bucks but he insisted I go on...I have been almost victimized at two chain dealerships, namely Toyota red mcombs off 10 and hausman and even where I purchased my vehicle at Cavender s Toyota ...I forget which one once said I had a leaking gasket/engine problem and wanted 2k to fix it (this was not true and car has been running like a champ 3.5 years since then). Anyhoo, this guy Sam I would trust with my life, my wife, kids and life earnings and I will see him for my vehicle needs the rest of my life, in fact I will always buy hybrid just to make sure he can work on it as That is his specialty. The guy goes to start my car for me and then gets out & tells me my car won't start. They did not put my car back together & left the stuff in my back seat & told me to call a tow truck. I drove my car in ... I expected to drive it out. Now I am out of a car with a new born who has multiple appointments & a 2 year old. Thankyou RPM .

I previously used them in the past for a broken shifter cable. From that inital experience, we could have easily been taken advantage of and been told it was a bad transmission, but their transparency and and honesty is what brought me back. For this transmission rebuild, they called us for every step during the diagnosis, removal, repair, and replacement process. They even requested for me to come to the shop and view the components that went bad. I was not able to make it, so they sent detailed pictures with a phone call afterwards with a detailed explanation of what I was looking at, why it failed, including options for repair. As a "motorhead" myself, everything he described in detail was concise, accurate, and no misleading information was given. My wife and I could not ask for any more. For your transmission needs, please consider this organization to take care of you. Oh, they even washed our vehicle for both repairs and placed several paper mats not to get any grease or grime in the interior of our vehicle (it's the small things that make a difference. That pride for their customers goes a long way! Although we were not expecting to spend this kind of money during the holidays, the experience was positive and we are back on the road with no car note, lol. I'd like to give the service advisor "Tony" for his professionalism and patience, and the owner for approaching me to make sure we have been taken care of. Service was good the men made me feel comfortable. Went in for brake pads and rotor replacement for $250 I brang my own duralast gold preference and wheel studs cause that needed replacement I requested them but they didn't do it case it was extra labor which I couldn't have minded at all if they just let me know in advance like heyyy so we can add the studs (Dorman brand) for extra $$$" I would've said yes lol. But didn't find out til I went in so meh but hey they did the job and brakes and rotors are in top shape now. So I love that. They diagnosed bad brake cylinder and booster replacement for $950+ close to a grand I had to walk away the car isn't worth that much I have another reliable vehicle so I just pulled those parts off myself and bled the brake line all under $60 and 4hrs of YouTube to make sure I did it right lol and tools I already had but due to their knowledge it helped me and now my spongey pad is gone THANKS TO THEIR KNOWLEDGE and education on what was wrong before I left the shop so great job guys I will be coming here again read more

Getting ready to also file a small claims against this business for work that was not necessary and on top of that them being dishonest ....and charging for things that had nothing to do w the reason why the ac in our truck wouldnt cool.....do not i repeat trust this place of business . Again back to my original problem they charged us for things that didnt even solve the issue and refused to even provide us w a written receipt of the work rendered how shady is that ....i alreday filed a case w Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center and if this business is not cooperative and by the way we got our ac fixed and it was none of the above things this business charged us for or even claimed was the cause of it.....either way im getting ready to file a small claims case with Bexar County as Well and i will not stop until this company refunds our money back i will pursue this to the full extent of the law....i swear i am and willl.....thats a promise read more

A great experience. Driving cross country pulling a travel trailer with an Audi Q7 and experiencing a bad coolant leak. Went to a few shops first thing on the Saturdsy morning and they could not handle the Audi and said go to the dealer. S&S guys immediately jumped on it and diagnosed a bad water pump bearing was causing the leak. Had part ordered from dealer and all work completed between 9am and 2pm the same day. Saved our travel schedule to the West Coast. S&S guys were attentive, professional and the price was very fair. 2 weeks later and no leaks and everything working great. I went in there for some valve cover work and spark plugs on my sons Camry and was seen immediately! Told me exactly how much the labor was and was really reasonable! They were done in no time. Then I had issues with my truck and they were able to diagnose it and told me exactly what it was and gave me some options! This place is honest and helpful!
