I came in on a recent rainy day Tuesday with a company car that had a suspect battery in it. Drove over to Quick Lane and was greeted quickly by a nice man at the desk. He took down my information and I had a seat. They have a pretty nice waiting area with a large television for all to see. Free water and donuts didn't disappoint! All in all, it was about a 2-hour visit start to finish, but they were pretty busy. They have lots of bays and techs were working hard. No complaints at all. read more

I like Crossroads Ford. Quicklane is one of the Crossroads family service centers. I called Crossroads of Apex to make an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I had it done at the dealership 5000 mile ago. The lady that answered the phone told me to take it to Quicklane. I said that I had my service work done at the dealership before. She said they were two weeks out for service appointments. Quicklane is first come first serve. So I decided to go to Quicklane. I arrived at Quicklane around 7:21am. Figure I get there early it would not take long for a oil change and tire rotation. Hence the name Quicklane. Unfortunately they do not live up to the name " Quicklane ". I got out of there at 9:01 am. They did have a full complement of Technicians working in the bays. But still not so quick. As I related previously in this review, I had my last service done at Crossroads Ford of Apex dealership 5000 miles ago. Here is the thing as you notice in the pictures of the receipts . The dealerships cost was $54.86 , for the same EXACT service at Not so Quicklane was $ 82.76. Big difference, don't you agree. I can see rising cost because of the supply chain, But ...... I know what I will do next time is scheduled a appointment with the dealership. BTY : Quicklane did have complementary coffee, donuts and water. Also dual screen TV 's. I'm not a frequent yelper but parents have to know - this place is perfect if you need an oil change and need to bring your kids with you. I went on a Thursday morning around 10am and brought my 3 kids 5 years old and under with me. There is a little enclosed room with toys and a TV for the kids. It was perfect. They also had fresh & free bagels and donuts! That was a treat. And, I was out of there in less than an hour. I was anticipating a long wait and had brought a lot of stuff with me for the kids but didn't end up needing it. Thomas the associate was very friendly and professional. Such a pleasant experience that I was dreading. I have a prepaid maintenance plan so I can't comment on the pricing. Will come here for every oil change!! read more

The service here is quick, and they do a good job, but I've been to the other Quick Lane in Cary and they have free coffee, bottled water, and on the day I was there lots of donuts and pastries. I always like getting a little something as a freebie when coming to places like this, even though it's not a necessity. I do like how clean the place is, it's not like a Jiffy Lube where you wonder if you have any bed bugs on you from the seats. And the garage is very clean as well. I have heard that some Quick Lanes will wash your car for free when you get an oil change, this one doesn't, which isn't a huge deal but would be a nice perk to add. read more

I went to Quick Lane for oil changes a few times. Both times I was in and out within 30 minutes....as it should be for an oil change. Service was good and the waiting area was nice. I have stopped there two times during the past six months or so to get oil changes. Both times I was asked if I was dropping off the vehicle to pick up later. When I said "no, I'm waiting" I was told that the wait would be four hours. I value my time and don't think I should spend half of my day just waiting for an oil change. They should either change their name, or have more locations to accommodate this growing area. read more

They should change the name to Slowest Lane Oil. I have several vehicles where I purchased the oil change package through the dealership, so I frequent this location. 75% of the time that I go without an appointment, the wait is over 2.5 hours (this morning it is 3 hours). Now I understand if it was standing room only, but it was not that crowded. Also, if I can get an oil change at a competitor in 15 minutes, I'm not sure what makes this place take 1 hour to change 5 quarts of oil. The people are very nice, however I would not recommend purchasing the oil change package because of the wait times here. read more

My buddy dropped off his 2017 Ford pickup with a bad fan, and 2-weeks later was told to tow his truck out of the parking lot! The interesting thing is he was told (on a phone call they claim is recorded) they had accidentally "dropped something through his engine and he should buy a lottery ticket because this never happens." They joked with him "have you thought about a new truck, ha ha." Then they gave him a brand new loaner truck to drive while they waited on their "top mechanic" to get back to work. (This all happened within two days). Two weeks later they call and say "your truck is broke and you need to come get it.!" When you get here we will show you how to drive it safely before you leave." My Buddy was shocked and called an attorney. The manager of Quicklane told him "we have lawyers too, come get your truck." Almost two months later Crossroads (corporate) is still trying to produce the supposedly "recorded phone calls" because of course the dude at Quicklane is denying the whole "accidentally dropped" comment. I say all this to warn you, be careful! Apparently a mechanic shop can destroy your engine and you have NO rights to get it fixed! My buddy is still trying to get this resolved while his truck is limping along. read more

Omg what can i say once again this place has excellent service with all the mechanics in question for sure and the guys up front starting with Nate, Sal, and jordan and a host of others are awesome employees for sure their work ethics are up to par and their professionalism and mannerism are also up to par they take pride in what they do for a living and like always if the employees are up for review and or a promotion and a raise all i can say is very well deserved i would definately refer friends and family to service their car at fords quick lane in apex for sure. read more

As many have stated the wait time is too long (more than 2 hours) and they let people wait indoors with no mask. After that they installed the wrong battery in my Ford van. After giving a bad review at Ford.com they offered to replace the battery and even that took an hour. Now their customer service person is hounding me on the phone to review HER. Fine. Visited the Quicklane in Apex to have my Mustang Shelby NC State inspection completed. I was informed by the service advisor it would be at least a 3hr. Wait!! Crazy, for a 15 min. Req. Inspection....I guess they do not have anyone strictly doing state inspections here?? (they lump you in with all the other repairs/services that are being performed). I use to go to "Cary Quicklane" and was in and out in no time with my Mustang and Superduty. I believe at that location they had a specific person(s) completing the state inspections and you were not lumped in with all the other category of repairs that were being completed for customers. Unfortunately they decided to close the Cary location shortly after opening the "Apex Quicklane". Not the first time I have visited the Apex location only to be told it is a 3+ hr. wait. I have now given up on visiting this Quicklane location for future needs of my Shelby Mustang and S/Dty. I ended up going down the road to a Inspection place on Kildaire Farm Rd. Cary and was in and out in about 20 mins. read more

Another great experience today - walked in for state inspection and oil change. Sat at desk area and got a load of work down. Watched my car during the entire time and was out of there in about 45 minutes. Very fair prices and great staff and I could not say more about how clean and modern the waiting area (and bathrooms) are! read more

I've had two great experiences here. A flat puncture tire and car inspection. Honest fast and a nice waiting area with computers.

Moved to Cary 3 years ago and have been taking my two vehicles here for service, tires, inspections, etc for the last two years. Bill, Ryan & team are the best. I would not/will not go any where else. read more
