I am surprised at the poor reviews. We have been here several times and have been pleased with each visit. I felt their customer service was better than average. No body likes to spend $$ on services but the trick is to get a value for what you do spend. I feel the value is there. As an affiliate of the Ford system, my data is tracked and shared. Bravo. I don't have to do the research on when or who did what. No need to knit pick, I will continue to use Quick lane for my service requirements. I have had tires, oil and a TMS replaced here. read more

After what seems like a decade of using the Quick Lane, two sets of tires and tons of oil changes there, they located inside the nearby Rod Baker Ford. I have to say it didn't feel right about taking a Toyota to a Ford Dealership, but had to give it a shot. Left side of service check in is for Quick Lane. Bob was the service manager and made sure work to be done on the car was correct. He was friendly and kind. Waited inside the Ford Dealership for about an hour for oil change and 5k service. All was good, though a new F150 V8 was tempting, I walked away without buying anything. :) Everyone we encountered today, was friendly and kind. special thanks to the person at the sales counter. :) Though I miss the good old interior of quick lane and friendly service, we will be back with our minivan next weekend. Sorry Jen, couldn't give the 5 stars like you asked for. Ford should be embarrassed to be affiliated w/you. They weren't going to tell me they had to replace the drain plug until I questioned them why my oil change was over $120.. No warning of the drain plug being worn down or nothing. Just carried on draining and "replaced" without asking. Also want to note they've been the only ones to change my oil on this vehicle, and they've had the change the drain plug twice within the last 3 or 4 visits. read more

I used to take my van there to get oil changed and serviced but got tired of the attitude from customer service so I started using another Ford dealer to service my van. They treated you like one of the other reviews commented like shit. I recently was taking a road trip and wanted my van looked over so I took it to the Ford dealer I started using. Once they had my van up on the racks the mechanic wanted to point out to me how my shocks were installed and asked when I had them installed. I had shocks installed in March of 2021by Quick lane. He showed me that the nut on the shock was not tightened completely and that the bushings had worn out because of this. Nov 2022 I had to have new shocks installed. Another expense I was not expecting. I am letting everyone I know not to use them because you don't know if your vehicle is getting the proper work done and if it is safe to drive. read more

I have brought my cars in for mainly oil changes but I had a vibration issue at higher speeds coming from the driver's side front wheel well. The noise sounded like the bearing was dry and needed replacing. Initially, I took it to my old repair place in the city and they rotated the tires for no charge and said the vibration was gone, which it wasn't. After about 20-30 minutes, the nice lady at the counter informed me that the issue was coming from the driver's side wheel and the hub assembly needed replacing (this includes the bearing). I agreed to the terms and they had the part replaced and the noise fixed within 1.5 hours. The noise has not come back and I'm happy with the repair. Fair price, nice staff, and good work. read more

I went back and forth between one and two stars for this spot. My typical requirement for a one star is that I be injured or harmed in some way. But since, in lieu of children, I have crappy American hatchbacks of which I am fiendishly protective, and because I think Quick Lane harmed them...one star. When my new car turned over 1000 miles, I decided to exercise my free oil change and swap out that "break in" oil. Yes, I know it's not really break in oil, and this is probably overkill, but the first batch oil is pretty sparkly after 1000 miles, so this is just money spent for peace of mind. The car came with a free oil change at either my dealer (Rod Baker Ford) or this new Quick Lane place, which seems to be affiliated with Rod Baker, but doesn't outwardly say so. However, they're able to pull my service records, etc, and knew I was the owner of the vehicle, when it was purchased, when built, etc. So they must have some connectivity. I was excited about this, since it's closer to the house than Rod Baker is, and so having access to service records might be really nice. First they ran the car through an alignment audit, showing she needed a slight toe adjustment. Great, although I have to go back to the dealer proper in order to get this done. They must not have a 4 wheel alignment machine here. Then they pulled it in for the oil change. The entire process is visible through a large glass window, which is nice (and enabled this review). The facility is also very nice, plenty of comfy chairs, TVs, coffee, etc. Better digs than your standard oil change spot. The oil change tech came out, asked if I wanted conventional, blend, or synthetic. Nice touch - he noticed I was changing oil on a brand new car, and figured I would care. I'll stick with blend for the first few changes, so he went back in and grabbed for the 5W20 oil nozzle. Fail. Much like my old Focus SVT, my new Focus ST does not take 5W20. It takes 5W30. Of which I am almost positive. So they finish up, and as I'm filling out the paperwork, I ask: Me: "Hey, does this car take 5W20 or 5W30?" Clerk: "All non-diesel Fords take 5W20." My internal monologue: "NOT TRUE OH MY GOD COMPLETE LIE" Me, skeptically: "Huh. OK." Sure enough, I go get in the car, pull the manual. 5W30. I go back in. Me: "Hey...I hate to do this to you guys, but this car takes 5W30, and you used 5W20." Different Clerk: "No, all non-diesel Fords take 5W20." Me: "Uhm. The owner's manual right here says 5W30." DC, with a "what does this guy know" attitude: "Well, let me go check." My internal monologue: "WHAT IS THERE TO CHECK THE MANUAL SAYS SO" Sure enough. It's 5W30. And when I popped the hood later that night, to see if it said 5W30 anywhere, it turned out...that it did. ON THE OIL CAP. THAT YOU HAD TO MANUALLY REMOVE TO FILL THE CAR WITH 5W20. Yes, they fixed the problem and refilled it with 5W30...but...I just don't have any confidence that they're going to do things right in the future. They're affiliated with a Ford dealer. They recognized the car for a specialty vehicle, as several of the technicians were clustered around the car when it was pulled in, and they ignored the clearly written instructions, and then argued with me over the accuracy of the owner's manual. Wow. I had, and continue to have, these same problems with my SVT, and not just here, at almost every oil change shop, even the dealer from which it was purchased. All Focuses (Foci?) take 5W20. Except for the crazy ones. Like the two crazy ones that I own. And I know it's just a Focus, but It's mine, and I paid for it, and I want it serviced correctly. Especially with a turbocharged direct inject motor, lighter oil could be really bad for the new car, and I don't want to take the chance. I guess...I'm going to start bringing oil change shops jugs of the proper oil, and demanding they use only what I give them. It's the only way to ensure it gets done right. It's too bad. This will be there 4th time I have taken my car to this location to fix the same problem. One of the gentlemen consistently has told me "the car is fine" only to bring it home and have to jump it again the next day. He gives me some excuse every time (i.e. "it's sitting in the cold") but I continue to have this problem. The only reason I have bothered brining it back is that we have already been charged $1200 and I would like the work to be done correctly without being charged again. If you have an option do not bother with this location. They will rush through and wont actually fix anything. They're happy to charge you though. read more

Why even bother writing a review. The two and a half stars for this place is a good start but it should be heading down They are crooks and liars there. First after a routine oil change and tire rotation they told me that there was a lug that couldn't be removed because it was cross-threaded. Strange since the last place I took to do the same service was there. They said I needed a whole new wheel assembly to fix the lug. This was after I told them that the last place to touch those wheels was them! The manager then called me a liar saying that my car must have been touched by someone else since my last visit there. Showed up 5 hours later to pick the car up, assuming they could get 1 tire mounted and balanced in that time frame. Car was never moved from where I parked it and was told the tire was not repairable. Obliviously i was not seeking a repair as I stated I had a tire and needed it mounted and balance. People behind the counter acted as if they were swamped with work and did not even take the time to ask any further questions when i dropped the car off, 2 cars in the shop with several techs standing around. I wouldn't go here. They let us take our car off their lot while not letting us know it was unsafe to drive. Less than a mile of driving the passenger axle snapped and almost got into an accident. The owner was unprofessional and blamed us for the incident while we were never informed that we couldn't drive our car. Worst place around to have your car fixed. Had an oil leak in our 2003 Civic, they told me we'd need to replace the timing cover seal, rear main seal, oil pan seal and crank seal that were all broken...for a total $3700. Took it to another repair shop because the car isn't with that much - and it turns out it was the cam plug and only cost us $300 to fix, all the seals were fine. read more

Contrary to most of the bad reviews, I didn't wait long for service. My car was on the rack within 10 mins and I was out of there within an hour. A big positive was even though I asked for "The Works" service without a tire rotation, they did not charge me full price for the service. I didn't get the brake inspection either, I appreciated the reduced charge. On the negitive side, the tech either wasn't told not to rotate the tires or he forgot. I was watching him work so I saw him start to rotate them and had to go into the service area to stop him. I feel this was a small mistake and the reduced fee made up for it. read more

Hello! It has been a little over a year since I came to this location for an oil change (no particular reason except location in time of need) and was surprised to see how many low scores this place was given. The one reason I always came to this location was trust and customer service. Plus, they have the lowest price on full-synthetic oil changes. Anyway, I woke up this morning knowing I HAD to get my oil changed! I de used to come on here to look at reviews and surprisingly there were so many negative reviews. I scrolled back to about a yeaR ago reviews and they were great! Nonetheless, I went. The guy who got my car checked in, Kevin, was very accommodating. He was upfront and honest about how long it was going to take. He said a little over an hour which I was ready to wait. He even got me in and out within the hour. He. Roughy next details of my car...needing new battery soon, rear brake pads have a little life left, and plate light out. He shared his recommendations of priority...battery, brakes, and then plate. He gave me prices upfront...but was NOT pushy about having those services done. Later after checking out, I mentioned to Kevin the bad yelp reviews. He shared that he had just moved from the dealership to this location and it seemed there was some new management. I told hIm it would be good to have someone checkIng the yelp comments; he said he had...he understood people's frustration.... If you made it this far in rEading thIs review...then maybe give them a chance. Not sure whats with all the low reviews for wait times to get your oil changed. You want a 10 minute oil change then hit up a Jiffy Lube. Quicklanes average oil change time is 90 minutes with an appointment, but they take their time which is what I appreciate. You can't possibly get proper work done in 10 minutes. They also use all OEM motorcraft parts and oil on my vehicles. read more

I made an appointment for Saturday morning was there right on time. 45 minutes later was told they did not even have time to bring my car in yet because they are swamped. I just drove into the quick lane of Cutler Bay and found the staff aloof, condescending and non helpful. They stand around and continue chatting when you arrive and offers no guidance to where you should park your car. I should have noticed the absence of clients there, to start with. I have problems with this place consistently. It says quick lane but last two times I tried to stop in for oil change, I'm greeted with a 2 1/2 hour wait minimum!!!? Went to Quick Lane and request tire rotation, balance and oil change. I was quoted a price and called when it was done. Wife picked the vehicle paid the bill, happily ever after. Then I realized they never rotated the tires. When I brought it up to them, they told me you want the tires with the best tread on the back. I explained the whole reason I wanted the rotation was for the tires with the best tread on the front. If that was not recommended then they should have explained that and I would have not had the tires rotated and balanced. Hence they charged me the same price for balancing my tires as they would for rotating my tires. I believe I was scammed and ripped off by this company and would not utilize that again. read more

brought my car in for a tire repair, they removed the donut fixed the flat tire, and did not replace the donut in my trunk. i did not think to check if it was put back 3 and a half weeks later i noticed it was missing, called them back to ask where and what happened to my tire, absolutely nobody knew and basically said not our problem now 3 weeks later, the female dog who took my call was rude her name was Jen, who sounded at least 70 years old. and told me my car doesn't even come with a spare. On 5/12/22 I brought my 2016 Ford Explorer into Rod Baker Quick Lane Auto to fix my AC as it was not blowing out cold air. I picked up my vehicle that evening and paid $752.84. After driving it home, I realized the AC was still not working. I called them the next day to report it and was told to bring it back in to the shop. After bringing the car back in, I was told it was another problem that would be 3k to fix. The shop did not identify the correct problem and fixed something else the first time. Jeff (Manager) apologized for not fixing the car correctly and offered to waive some of the labor cost on the next repair. I asked him for a full refund as I did not want his shop to attempt to fix my car for a second time due to its negligence the first time around. The customer service and care at Rod Baker Quick Lane was horrible. Be aware and go somewhere else! I fixed the AC at the Ford Dealership on Friday, June 17th for $1200. Rod Baker Quick Lane charged me $752.84 for a repair that still did not fix my AC. I have still not received my refund from them and will not do future business with them. This place sucks. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. They upsell at every opportunity. When they quoted me $1000 for brake work (Oh, you need a new caliper. And we can only replace calipers in pairs, and that means new rotors AND new pads, and if we're doing them for the front, we should do them for the back, and we notice this and that other thing...), I understandably choked. Immediately they dropped the quote by $300. Appreciated, but what are you doing shooting for the moon in the first place? I called a shop my brother has used for years and they quoted me $250 for the same repairs. So I understandably tell QuickLane that I certainly will NOT be using their services, thank you, and that I will come to pick it up in about an hour. It should be noted here that the vehicle is my secondary vehicle, which sits in the garage a lot and has had NO problems starting. I go to retrieve the vehicle and the battery, which I had installed myself four months ago, is mysteriously dead. Really? Stay away from this place. They suck. Quick Lane is a REAL PAIN... We've brought multiple cars here to get fixed. They constantly claim that they need extra work done. When they do not. (My boyfriend mostly works on our cars by himself.) He brought his car to Quick Pain :) for a break fluid flush. They called him and told him that he needed new breaks for $800. (Lies **Cough**) As he was driving home he noticed a clicking noise when he applied the breaks. (Hmmm... Interesting timing) He called them and was told that he could come in the next day so they could see what the problem was. He brought it there on a Monday at 9:00am. After hearing no response from them he called back at 3:00pm. He was told that there was no one there who could help him service the problem and that it would have to wait until tomorrow. Quick Pain wants your $$$$... Do yourself a favor and save yourself the ache!! read more

I first tried this place because I was in a hurry for an oil change before leaving town and my dealership was booked. I was impressed. The service advisors are courteous and the prices were much lower than expected. The wait time IS a little longer than one would have at a place that only does oil changes, but that is because they don't have a pit and each car goes on a lift. I have since returned to have tires installed and still remain impressed. Jennifer and Charles are both knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend for others to give them a try. read more

You can go anywhere for a $20 oil change but these guys are doctors for your car. I have a very high mileage vechicle that they have taken excellent care of. Its the little piece of mind they give this single mom everytime I'm there that keeps me coming back. From letting me know my battery is fine too letting me know about future repairs coming up on my car big and small. My car is with them right now to do waranty work on a wheelbaring they replaced late last year. It was completely hassle free to have them say no charge! I asked them to do a fuel system flush while its there. They just called and said I do not need it done. I wouldn't have known if it did or didn't. They could have made a quick buck from me and the decided honesty was the better choice. The shop has a friendly clean atmosphere with coffee (not burnt) for you to have while you wait. If you need it they will shuttle you home so you do not have to hassle with finding a ride. I honestly can't think of any complaint/suggestion I have. Keep up the excellent job guys! Worst service at this place. Besides the point you wait over a hour for your car to get brought in for just an oil change, at the end they try and screw you. I've brought my Mazda to this location on multiple occasions and never had they told me it needed synthetic oil. The last time I went they give me my total and it's over $60. I asked why it was so much and they explained it needed synthetic oil and it costs more and that I wasn't charge for it in the past. I asked for them to show me that was the case and he wouldn't show me. Good thing I had points built up with Ford app, used every last point and will never return there. I have had ok experiences before. This time, went in to get a oil change and tire rotation, we told the person at the front desk to do the package deal. We were watching the car being worked on and saw that the mechanic never did the rotation. We told him that he was supposed to have done the tire rotations, he said he was off and someone else was going to have to do it. After speaking with the person at the front desk , they never put the tire rotation on the invoice. They didn't charge us for the tires. But poor communication and poor attitude from the mechanic. read more
