One of my tires had a bad leak. I took it to the Just Tires in Plainfield, IL. The man behind the desk said they would check it out. I quickly recieved a call telling me my tire was not repairable because the puncture was on the shoulder. The problem is I had located the puncture and it was a screw, clearly in the threads, flat surface. I picked up the car and took it to a different tire place 2 miles north on route 59. They fixed it quickly and told me I would probably need new tires before winter. They are right and when I need a full set of new tires, it won't be from Just Tires. read more

Had my tires filled because my low tire pressure light came on my dash. This has been happening every winter when the air gets cold. A week later the light came back on. They took off the tire and found an old nail in it. This nail must have been in my tire for years! They repaired the tire and even saved the nail in a bag for me to see. Prices here are more then most other tire shops. However, I was in a rush and needed a flat fixed since this spot had only a few customers, it was only a 30 min wait. The place next door was half the price but was booked out for a week (FOR A QUICK FLAT FIX!). They don't price match here so don't waste your time asking. I took a vehicle in last week because their was a nail in the tire. I was told the tire was not repairable and I had to buy a new tire. This wasn't too big of a deal as the vehicle needed new tires anyway. I have another vehicle I took in today because I had a screw in a tire. Just Tires told me once again that I needed to replace the tire at a cost of $320! It seemed suspicious so I took my vehicle to Discount Tire and not only were they able to fix the tire, they did it free of charge. I also asked them if I had to replace the tire what they cost would be and it was only $200. I will never go back to Just Tires. Discount Tire has all of my business moving forward. read more

I requested all terrain tires but wanted something a little meatier than the factory tires currently on my truck. She replies so you want mudder tires...no want all terrain tires...I do operate on highways a lot just something more aggressive.... she replies well you get either all terrain tires or mudders... really? My tire was low, and my mechanic (aka my dad) told me it was likely that I needed the rims cleaned, because no puncture holes were found and the same tire kept getting low. Finally, I caved and went to Just Tires. Brad, or Brian, at the front desk was very polite and friendly. I explained my issue, and I was told it would take 30-45 minutes for them to check one tire and clean the rims (I was given an estimate of time after I asked.) I hesitated whether or not to call for a ride, but I'm so glad I did. An hour and a half later, I called Just Tires to find out when my car would really be ready. I was told the following: -My car was "just sitting there." -They couldn't find where the leak was coming from I explained the problem for the second time. He asked, "oh did you want the rims cleaned?" and they told me it would be another 15 minutes. 15 minutes later I returned to pick up my car. Front desk guy tells me that I had a road hazard protection warranty, so they replaced the front tire. I was very happy to learn this, but wondered why they hadn't checked earlier when I was in the store. The rims were not cleaned, which I guess was fine since they changed the tire, and I walked out happy paying only $38 for valves and an adjustment and I honestly don't know what else - they didn't explain it too clearly. But the tire itself, probably a $130 value, was free. I'm totally happy with the results, but not too thrilled with the overall experience. I was told I need rear tires "really soon," and I'm inclined to shop around. read more

They advertise a $19.95 oil change on their sign..... they stated it included everything for $19.95.... three hours later when they could finally do it, they ask me to sign a work authorization for $30.56. How does a $19.95 oil change that includes everything become $30.56? Next question, if I had signed the Authorization how much more would it have cost before I got done? I went up the road, where they were honest with me from the start, oh yes I actually paid them $35. The difference, I felt they were honest from the beginning and that I could trust them to be honest about anything else they might find. My advice.... save your self the time... don't deal with bait and switch deceptive businesses to start with. read more

I got three tires here less than six months ago. Today, my low tire pressure light went on, so I brought it in to get checked. I was told just to LOOK at it would be $36, repair would be more, because I didn't get the roadside hazard. My car, and the three other cars that I am responsible for will never come back here for service. Regardless of the warranty, after six months, I feel like this was a very bad customer service experience, and lord knows there are plenty of car repair places at the intersection of 135th and Route 59!! I was just at this location , and had the worst experience ever! I had a flat tire due to a leaky rim. The tire was purchased at this location 6 month prior. The girl at the counter began to assist me, but then stopped to sign for a delivery. There was nothing said by her like excuse me for a moment. She just stopped helping me. As I was standing at the counter waiting the then was socializing with the deliveryman about the forth of July. I had to wait. Customers come last. After a wait I finally did get service. It took then 25 min to repair a leaky rim. I paid them $39.85 went out to my car to find the tire that they just repaired going flat!!! I then had to wait an additional 15 minutes, or more for the to repeat the process. This place sucks. read more

Service was ok nothing special. I was told I had the wrong size tire on my even though they never brought it up when THEY had originally installed the tires. I showed up for my 5:30 appointment at 5:15. The took the car in at 5:25. It took until 6:40 for them to finish removing my all season tires and mounting and balancing my summer tires. The guy at the front desk was a little arrogant. And kept one uping me on my car. Which I could not care less what he had done to his old Evo. While I was in the waiting room he repeated talked down to people who called in asking about questions. It was annoying to listen to him treat people that way. I will not be going back. The only plus about Just Tires is that they are open till 8:00. Next time I will leave work early and go to Discount Tires they are a much more professional company to work with. read more

Had 2 completely different experiences within 2 days. Made my appointment with Jason and he was very helpful and accomodating. I was ready to recommend this place to anyone until I went in and dealt with Richard. He was very demeaning in the store and proceeded to tell me they couldn't do the requested alignment because all 4 of my rims were dented. I took it to my dealership today to get my rims repaired and they said 1 rim was slightly damaged and there was no reason Just Tires couldn't perform the alignment. I'm pretty sure Richard just didn't want to do it because it was close to closing time. If you decide you have to use this place, ask for Jason. read more

They have a friendly enough staff, but their prices are higher than local competitors and they Messed up my oil change causing all of my oil to leak in my driveway. They fixed their mistake but my driveway is stained . They seemed to think this was not a big deal and were very nonchalant about the error. read more

Worst experience. Oil change was done and they couldn't get my car out because they didnt put on my oil pan properly. I watched as they try to fix it. As soon as the brought my car out I asked if everything was ok.. Guy said yes. Next day my oil pan was hanging off and scratching the bottom of pavement while driving. Went back and they rebolted it on. I contacted just tires corp and they completely gave me the run around and said my oil pan had a problem before I came in. The guys there completely lied. Another Just Tires location (Maple, in Downers Grove) biffed an oil change (didn't securely replace cap). I had a semi-catastrophic cap loss (mess of an engine: filthy, smoking, and not functioning properly) and ended up taking it here to get the engine cleaned, cap replaced, etc. Staff here were attentive, called me with status updates and thorough in showing me what steps they had taken since they received my car. As it was a Just Tires that had made the mistake leading to my problems, I wasn't charged for any of this. read more

Tried to charge me $30.00 more then the price I was to pay. What upset me most was the lady was RUDE! I was a mechanic a while ago and I like to think that I can see through the BS games that some of these places play with customers and I have never experienced that at this location.
