I spent a couple of days looking for a piano tuner who seems to have a lot of experience and within my price range and location. I contacted him from his website and he emailed me back within a day. Compared to all the other I contacted, he was very quick. I believed that my piano was extremely bad and needed repairs so we made a two appointment days in case we needed the second day. He came in and quickly gave me a quote which was a lot lower then I expected from his website's price listing and we didn't need a second day. While he was working on the piano, he explained to me a couple of his instruments about what they are and used for. He also told me about worse case scenarios (string breaking) and what the aftermath would be. He was here for a few hours (2-3). He was very respectful and kind. My dog liked him too. :)

They used dollies to take my furniture down the stairs and let it bang against the steps each way down and did the same thing when moving into my new apartment -- most of my furniture are now wobbly because of this. Not only that, but one of the movers also DROPPED AND BROKE my nightstand in front of me. He did not apologize at all and kept moving my other items. The 2nd mover was a bit more professional and let me know that they have insurance to replace it, and to follow back up with them afterwards.. I've followed up multiple times with them already, sent them pictures/receipts of my nightstand, and have not heard back at all. TERRIBLE PEOPLE AND SERVICE. DO NOT USE THEM.

We are beyond blown away by what Action Piano Services did with our 1917 Schiedmayer grand, a piano we were fortunate to acquire from elsewhere -- a fine instrument visually and structurally, but in need of the kind of TLC that only someone with decades of experience could provide. Aaron looked up the serial # and was able to tell me it is 95 years old! I knew it was old but had no idea how old. I wasn't sure it could even be tuned since it probably had not been tuned for at least 50 years. It had been at my parents house and came to my house after they passed. He was able to tune it perfectly. It sounds great Will be calling him to tune it next year.
