I wanted to say thank you to Vince at Quick Response AC https://www.yelp.com/biz/quick-response-a-c-pine-valley for making me a priority this morning when everyone else failed. 2 days ago my AC went out and for those of you who live the desert or really hot places like AZ or on the Border of Mexico like I do, you KNOW it gets in the 100's before noon. I also have two German Shepherds and a little boy. So, when it is 88 degrees or 90 degrees INSIDE my house it's a problem. I was Icing down my pups, stripping down my son into bare minimal, and we were all STILL sweating our asses off - I called about 6 people, nobody wanted to come out to Campo to help me. If they did, it was going to be FRIDAY and they were going to charge me a huge TRAVEL fee just to drive 45 minutes or less to my house on top of everything else. I called one company and they said "YES WE DO SERVICE YOUR AREA and promised to be out last night between 5-8 pm. Nobody came. It was around 6 that I got a call that they made a mistake - they won't service my area. I am too far out for them (45 minutes)/. Found 2 people who were BOOKED SOLID and couldn't get to me until FRIDAY. THEN Vince, one of the people I called texted me back last night and told me he may be able to squeeze me in today. I was iffy because everybody was all talk and no do. Then he texted me back at 06:30 this morning and said: "If your up, I am on my way!!" (Vince is 45 minutes away from me) I wrote back "Let's DO THIS" and within an hour he had me up and running and gave me a VERY REASONABLE and FAIR price. He actually gave me a break compared to what the others wanted me to pay. He only charged me $160 for the entire service. No added fees, just the one part that I needed and for one hour of his time. No Bullshit. Just excellent service. When I saw my outside AC UNIT RUN, I cried! Silly huh? HE SAVED MY DOGS!! He is now on speed dial!! LOL Nobody else can have him!! Quick Response A/C will now always be my first call, Vince is a friendly, knowledgeable and honest guy! Our air conditioner had been making some funny noises and our electrical bills were going through the roof. Then one day Friday afternoon on a HOT August day, it stalled and stopped working completely. We called a different company who we had used in the past and they were about a month out for an appointment. We quickly remembered the Quick A/C Inc. truck we have seen driving through our neighborhood and called him up. He was at our house within 15 minutes late on a Friday afternoon. The air conditioning was back up and running with minimal service call charges. Then, later that evening, we noticed the unit wasn't functioning properly. We waited until Saturday afternoon to give him a call to see when we could set up another appointment for him to come take a look. He arrived at our house within a minute because he was already driving up our street! The motor was deemed to be bad with the fan blade about to go out. He replaced the motor and came back 2 days later with the ordered fan blade that broke apart completely after it was removed. We were living on borrowed time and easily could have been looking at unit replacement rather than repair!! We will remember Vince for all of our Air Conditioning servicing and maintenance. We had Quick Response AC out to our home in the desert to troubleshoot our ancient system which had stopped working. Vince arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem: broken wiring connections due to rodents chewing through the wires which he quickly repaired. He then vacuumed up the considerable "mouse mess", providing us with a much cleaner working environment. Great work, but Vince didn't stop there. He continued on to check the AC operation revealing non-functioning filters, and and gave us a tip on where to get replacement filters quickly and easily (On Amazon). He also went above and beyond the actual task of the AC, and took the time and trouble to inspect and clean the outdoor condenser. The condenser was quite noisy even after tightening the screen. This was no problem for Vince. He added extra screws around the condenser cover screen (the large outdoor fan), silencing the screen vibration noise. Our old AC is now working like new thanks to Vince. Finally, he took the time to explain some of the niceties of our evaporative cooler (aka Swamp Cooler) and clued us in on what we should look for regarding yearly maintenance. There are no words to express how happy we are to have had Vince come to our home. With the temperatures being over 100 degrees and the A/C broken he came to our rescue. Others have come to repair our unit with it only breaking down again. He came and assured us that he would take care of everything. And HE DID!!! We really appreciate his professional customer service, friendly approach and exceptional knowledge. We were relieved that he was not only going to say he would fix it but that he would make sure that we were satisfied about the service. He did the right thing, and we could not be more pleased. I am overly impressed with Vince and his skills! A new transplant to the "desert area" and unfamiliar with the legendary "swamp Cooler", I found the two I had were not working at all. I contacted my Home Warranty Company and they sent Vince out to check them out. He was professional, extremely knowledgably, very kind and friendly. He sorted out the problem with both Swamp Coolers, and I am happy to say im now enjoying "cool" air within in my home. He was always in contact with me regarding the parts ordered, the time frame he would arrive and goes above and beyond a simple repair man doing a job. I highly recommend him for any of your A/C or Heating repairs. As long as im a resident here, no other company will touch my A/C or Heating units except for Quick Response!!! My AC went down on a Thursday and the 3 day weekend is forecast for 118 degrees, 119 degrees and then 118 degrees again on Monday with a low of 92 all weekend. I was a bit panicked that I wouldn't be able to get it fixed before the heat set in. Vince was at my house within a couple of hours of calling him and had the system diagnosed and fixed within a short time. He was incredibly helpful, informative and thorough. Saved me and my husky from some miserable heat. Couldn't be happier and would absolutely recommend him. I will absolutely be using him again for any AC/heating needs I have in the future. My AC went out last night. It was blowing hot air but the unit outside was quite. I did the usual thing everyone does Google it. I tried the reset as many googlers do and no go. All it did was Humm.
