I sat back down, and shortly after got a notification that the table I was waiting for at a nearby restaurant was ready. I went back to the counter to check on my order, and that's when one of the staff members told me that it'll be 10 more minutes because they ran out of something. At that point I told them I needed to leave, and they offered to make me another drink. I said ok, whatever you can make fast - so they whipped up a osmanthus rice milk tea pretty quickly. The drink itself was surprisingly good! Smooth, flavorful and fragrant, and the little bits of rice added a pleasant texture to the drink. It was a bit too sweet for my liking because they made it at 100%, I would choose 50% next time. Overall I'd consider trying a different Ben Gong location in the future because the drink itself was worth getting again. The service here was definitely lacking though.
