He remembered me from 1991 when he installed a stereo in my 1981 Toyota Celica. When we were discussing the security system for my BMW, we talked about the system he installed in my Celica. He detailed the components like he installed them last week. A short time ago, my security system wasn't working right so I contacted Paul. He asked me to bring in my car and he would take a look at it. When I got there, one of his technicians, Jason Salas, noticed that the wire to the antenna at the top of the windshield was not hooked up to anything. I told him that I recently had my windshield replaced and that the two sided tape holding the thing up there came loose. Not knowing what that thing was, I disconnected it and put it in my car somewhere . Paul asked me where it was. I told him it fell off the windshield because it was not attached right and that it was in the car somewhere. After we found it, Jason put it back in place with some good two-sided tape and the alarm worked right again. I told Paul I was amazed at how quickly Jason diagnosed the problem. He told me "Jason was Installer of the Year in the entire country as recognized by the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association back in '06/'07." Paul and Jason are the kind of people who work at AMS and that's the kind of service I've been getting there since 1991. I highly recommend AMS for their selection of quality car stereo equipment, automobile security systems and especially for the people who install everything they sell."

So I got side swiped by a guy that blew a stop sign almost 4 years ago. Brought my truck to Budget…read moreafter getting a couple different estimates. The other places didn't seem to care as much as Budget did. Maybe it was because it was a high dollar repair. It was just a hair over 10,000 to fix. Either way, Budget was the place to go to. They got me into a loaner truck while they worked on my baby. They even re-glued the door ding guards twice after it left their shop. Everything was fantastic. It was a total 5 star experience! Fast forward to March 2018...... I hit a deer. Driving for 20 years and it finally happened. Called Budget before I even heard back from my insurance company. The girl that answered the phone was almost rude. I made an appt to bring my baby back in for an estimate and to glue those darn door guards again. Jamie came out and took pictures for the estimate. I told him that after the impact, my check engine light came on. He didn't seem to care..... He did assure me that he would check, and if it was deemed to be due to the accident, it would get fixed. He did not check the code at all at that time. I then asked if I could get a loaner truck while he fixed it. He told me that they never do that. He seemed more difficult to deal with. This is not the experience I got last time at all. Maybe he was having a bad day. So he went to get the estimate ready. I didn't even get a paper copy of the estimate. I had to find out the number from the insurance company. I called a couple hours after I left to see if it was ready, and the office girl told me very rudely that 2 more people came in after I left and he was busy helping them. That didn't seem to be a very good excuse either. I mean, I was there first. Shouldn't he have been getting my stuff ready instead of helping other people? So 2 days later, I finally get the go-ahead to stop by and pick up a paper copy of the estimate. The office girl basically threw it at me. That was THE LAST STRAW. So I cancelled my appt to get the front end repaired at this shop. But I still needed to get those stupid door guards glued back on. So I tried to set up an appt to do that. I was told that I have to leave work early so I could be here before 3:00. So, here I sit. In their lobby. Waiting while they glue those guards back on. I made sure to be here by 1:30. The last 2 times it took 15 minutes to glue it and be done. This time I have been here sitting for 70 minutes as of now. Jamie has said like 10 words to me, the office girl has walked past me 10 times and hasn't said a word. Also kind of rude. Honestly, I will prolly never return here to have work done. You can feel free to delete this review if you like, but it won't change a thing.

Budget Truck and Auto did a great job on my auto body work! I had some rear end damage from a…read moreparking lot accident and they repaired the back end of my Subaru to look like brand new! They gave me a free loaner car to use for the week and only expected that I return it with a full tank of gas. When I picked up my car I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had cleaned and scrubbed all of the floor carpets. There wasn't any evidence of the dog hair that was once everywhere. They did a great job. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.
