The location is convenient and easy to get to (a red light allows you to turn in and out). The gas prices are always good and they have all the variety of gas that's available. I haven't visited their store inside, but I have seen people come out with various food and drink items. The bathrooms are new, but was a bit of a mess last time I went in. Overall, easy for me to grab gas before hopping on the highway and good prices is a win for me.

After waiting about 10 minutes for two sushi trays to be prepared, I was charged $9.50 per tray at checkout instead of the advertised price. When I asked about the discrepancy, the cashier checked with the sushi counter and came back saying they are a "separate business" and the price could not be adjusted. The only option offered was to remove the items, which I ultimately did and left without completing my purchase. From a customer perspective, the sushi counter is inside the store and the promotion is presented as part of the store's offerings. It's not reasonable to advertise a special and then decline to honor it at checkout due to internal vendor arrangements. This was disappointing and a waste of time. I hope management clarifies responsibility for in-store promotions and ensures advertised deals are honored consistently.

They are located on Lavista road across from Best Buy off the interstate exit. Always helpful staff at all the locations that I have purchased fuel from recently. Most of the times they have the cheapest gas around the area and seemed to be pretty good too. The pumps were all under a covered shelter, so you don't have to worry about the elements. The place is always nice and cleanly maintained. From outside the interior of the store is brightly lit and inviting. They do have a ATM machine, Air Pump, and clean bathrooms. Oh there is a Domino's Pizza connected to this store to make the stop more rewarding for pizza lovers. Here the staff members are very friendly and helpful.

In general, I'm a fan of Publix for their fresh produce, fresh-cut fruit bowls, deli subs ("Pub Subs"), and pharmacy. They offer a superior shopping experience and customer service compared to Kroger; the staff at Publix consistently seem better trained and more polite. I have the Publix and Publix Pharmacy apps and find them useful and convenient. It's great having all my receipts in one place within the main app. For prescriptions, being able to pay ahead in the Pharmacy app makes the pickup process faster. Our go-to Publix store was previously the Atlantic Station location, but since that store closed in December 2025, we switched to Whole Foods Midtown. Along with missing the pharmacy, it was our place to get Silk Almond Creamer; Whole Foods stopped carrying it. This Publix at Chastain Square feels a bit older, and both the layout and parking lot can feel dense and crowded. However, that's typical for an "in-the-city" Publix.

I walked in behind some girl with a half-eaten Publix deli sandwich in her hand. She looked upset. She took it to a guy who maybe was a manager? He rolled his eyes at her but acknowledged something and she went to the deli. I wanted to ask what happened, but he angrily ran off. Same guy/ manager, later is with an elderly female customer who was asking him something and I suppose he walked away. She goes "excuse me! I was talking to you!" I again pass by these two and she goes "you know you have an attitude" and he responds "you have a nice day, ma'am". Then as I'm checking out, customer in front of me shoves my things back on the conveyor belt and knocks my juice I'm about to purchase over. Doesn't apologize. Doesn't even acknowledge it. When the cashier comes to my things to check out, she knocks over the milk as well. I guess it's normal to just toss jugs/bottles of fluid around here like they will always hold up.
