Quinn's used to be such a nostalgic neighborhood sports bar, the kind of place where everyone gathered on Saturdays and Sundays to watch games and linger over one of the longest (and most fun) brunches in Arlington. It had a signature energy that made people want to stay awhile. Recently, though, things feel really different. Now there are lasers going while baseball is on TV, geometric wallpaper, and even a hookah-bar vibe mixed in. It feels a little disjointed, like the space is trying to be too many things at once. That kind of atmosphere might work late at night, but it doesn't match the relaxed, social brunch energy Quinn's used to be known for. The bartenders also used to bring such great energy and helped keep the whole place lively and welcoming. The last few times I've visited, it's been noticeably quieter than I've ever seen it. I really hope they find their groove again, because Quinn's has always been a neighborhood staple and I'd love to see it thrive. read more

Quinn's is cool for their daily specials and to watch sports when it is warm out. The food isn't very good and the service is terrible. I have waited over a hour multiple times for food, which in part is because they are extremely understaffed. The menu is wrongly priced. I ordered a few beers at $6 a beer on the menu. The server wrang it up for $8 a beer and told me the menu is wrong, but that it isn't her fault and nothing she can do. Just a lazy job by management to not fix that error. read more

Onto the letter Q in my alphabet series, which only has businesses representing 2019, 2021, 22, & 24. Q is tricky. Representing 2019 is Q is for Quinn's on the Corner. In the 2010's, I was a member of a northern VA trivia Meetup group that met at various locations mostly in Arlington & Alexandria but occasionally they'd throw a Fairfax County or even a DC in the mix. I moved to MD in 2017, so I was a lot less likely to go. The trivia group realized we were winning some good gift cards for Quinn's or their sister restaurant in Shirlington, Dudley's. See my 3-star review from April 2025 of Dudley's. Quinn's was a more positive experience besides sometimes winning good gift cards. I went in 2019 several times on a Wednesday trivia. In 2019, I tended to work remote on Wednesdays & Fridays, and depending what was going on that day & night, I would drive from my home at Wheaton in the middle of the day when traffic wasn't so bad, wifi at a coffee shop in Fairfax County to finish work, and then go over to Quinn's afterward. I also occasionally had work travel to Arlington (or elsewhere) that would get me in the area. Their wings were good here! I remember I also got their chili, which someone recommended, and they were right about that too, and it was a hearty amount! I had the burger, which was solid as well. Overall, I thought the food was good here. Service was generally good even with it being busy. It got a bit crowded & loud during trivia. The last time I went was in July 2019, which I had to pick up a prize at the radio station in Loudoun County, and I went on a Wednesday so I could combine with Quinn's. See my 5-star review of Starbucks in Great Falls, VA that I wrote that day Wednesday, July 17, 2019 (where I wifi on way to Quinn's from Leesburg), only time I went to that Starbucks. Several things occurred which hindered my chances of going to Quinn's in the last half of 2019. I got a girlfriend in June 2019, so more likely had something else going on a Wednesday. One of the organizers from the trivia group passed away in August 2019. They had gone on that Wednesday trivia and thought it was weird he didn't show up, played trivia. The next day they discovered he passed away in his apartment, so they might have not played for a while. I stopped having work travel to Arlington in September 2019 due to them going online, and also in September 2019 there was a stop-work scenario and about half my company was laid off, so work had slowed down a lot. Then, Covid happened, and the Meetup disbanded. I think I'm on the Facebook group, but I moved a little further away in Anne Arundel County than even Wheaton. If I was over here, I'd return maybe with my girlfriend, but rare I'm ever in Arlington these days. read more

Quinn's is a great neighborhood spot! I went for their $5 champagne on Saturdays for the first time and it was awesome! Perfect for a large group brunch spot. Our server was also very friendly and checked up on us frequently. Went in for burger night. The menu says that it's half off burger night it's the little card says it's $10 burger and beer night and yeah we paid $50 for for two burgers, a soda and a glass of water. When we asked what the deal was the server said that it's under new management and they don't know what they're doing. Simple spot, i wouldn't call it a hole in the wall but it gave me the feel of simple down to earth good conversation regular spot. The bar had people sitting the tables had people drinking and taco Tuesday was on with 10 dollar (2 tacos and chips) with 4 dollar Margaritas. Simple to the point and a good time. read more

I stopped in for lunch on 4/4/26 and left really disappointed. The tacos were dry and bland, and the waitstaff seemed absent and uninterested in helping customers. This used to be a regular spot for me when I lived in Roslyn - especially the weekday specials (like Taco Tuesday: 2 tacos and a Modelo). I really don't like writing reviews like this, but after today, I've reached my limit with Quinn's. This place has so much potential -- prime location, nice setup, and a space that looks like it should be a great spot to hang out. Unfortunately, the service and wait times completely ruin the experience. I came in on a Saturday afternoon with the place was practically empty, so we figured it'd be quick and easy. All I ordered was a banana split -- a dessert that doesn't even need to be cooked -- and still ended up waiting over 30 minutes. That's half an hour for a dessert in an empty restaurant. Eventually, I told the bartender I was leaving because the wait was ridiculous. She was nice enough to not charge me for my Diet Coke and dessert, (which I never received), but I cannot believe the continued issues I've had with this establishment. Sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened. On previous visits, I've tried the wings, burger, and buffalo chicken pizza -- all of which were okay at best after again extremely long waits. My pizza even came out undercooked after I'd been waiting for over an hour and had to send it back for an additional 20 minutes. By the time it finally came back out, it was mid. It's clear there's a serious issue with staffing or management here, because the service just never matches the potential of the space. I kept giving this place another chance, but after multiple disappointments, I'm done. I can't recommend Quinn's to anyone unless they make major changes. Head across the street for better food and half the wait time. I hope the owner sees this review and can somehow turn this place around. Good luck. read more

Walked in with eight people. No greeting. No server. No one says a word. We sit. We wait. Nothing. 15 minutes. I go to the bar, ask how this place works since no one seems to give a shit. Get a shrug and disinterested "You need something?" Not once during the entire visit did anyone come to our table. We had to chase down drinks, chase down help, chase down basic service like we were bothering them just by existing. I literally ran the drinks for the table since NOBODY gave a shit. Then the TVs reset. Right at kickoff. Game disappears. No urgency. No one even looks up. I raise my voice -- because no one's doing their job -- and then here comes the manager: short, smug Boomer with comedy club energy and zero authority. Tries to crack a joke. I tell him what's happening. He gives me the "calm down" routine, then vanishes. Problem not fixed. Service still nonexistent. This is important soon. Food arrives. Still no napkins. No plates. No server. I somehow hold off for 14:35 before going crazy (I set a timer because I had to quantify the level of disrespect they have for their customers and darn was I right. I go up again. Same bartender -- the one I already had to call out earlier -- actively turns his head away when he sees me. Ignores me. Purposely. Like avoidance is going to work on me. I don't give a %$^$ -- I press, because we still don't have silverware and I'm not about to eat wings like a caveman because he's nursing hurt feelings and can't rise above 5'4. He turns, finally, and says he's "doing his job." No, you infant -- you're sulking, and I know because Passive Aggression is a second language to me. You're butt-hurt because you got curb stomped earlier for being a useless nothing and now you can't get past it long enough to hand someone a napkin. I call bullshit. He starts crying about being cursed at. I tell him to go %#@% himself and do his job one more time for good measure. Because if you're going to hide from customers over your own bruised ego, that's what you deserve - disappear. Then they send out backup -- some enforcer from the sister bar who opens with "Don't ever speak to him like that again." Imbecile. Doesn't ask what happened. Doesn't offer a fix. Just plays bad cop, fully misreading the moment. I tell her she wasn't there. She has nothing to say. No one does. I point this out and she stammers from the PDD that prevented her from getting there on time. Thanks for playing! We leave. I look every one of them in the eye -- manager, bartender, all of them -- giving them the chance to engage, own it, speak. They look down. Spineless. Broken. Nothing. I've been going to Quinn's for almost a decade. It used to function. Now it's the answer to the question no one asked. The kind of place that exists not out of merit, but because no one's bothered to kill it yet. This isn't a bar. It's hospice care for bad employees. You don't walk into Quinn's to be served. I came here for happy hour and It was empty. Maybe because It was a Monday. Anyway, service was quick, the music was good, very chill atmosphere. I think the happy hour drink menu could improve. Wine and beer but no alcohol. Appetizers are BOGO free so tht was cool. We had the quesadilla and nachos. The nachos could have fed 4 people and they were some of the best I've ever had. What a great little place to eat. We were visiting the area and decided to try the place. I had the steak tip salad which was excellent, my wife had the giant pretzel which was fresh and delicious. The service was great and prices were fair. I highly recommend Quinn's. read more

Attempted to visit Quinn's on Sunday for the first time in a few years with family that was in town visiting and had a waitress who was awesome. Unfortunately, after we ordered our drinks and food, they began switching the channels on the TVs so my fiancé asked the bartender (bald older gentleman who is always working there) if he could confirm they would be playing the Commanders game, to which he responded "Stupid f-ing question" motioning to the other patrons at the bar. Obviously that was an extremely bizarre/unprofessional response so we had no choice but to cancel our orders and go up the street to Rhodeside Grill where they couldn't have been more accommodating. Quinn's has some great real estate and I hope the miserable bartender finds peace in his life and whatever struggles he is facing that would cause him to act so disgusting. read more

Fun sports bar if you're trying to watch a game. Prices are reasonable. $5 bottles of champagne on the weekends. The bar is small and I wish there was more seating as when I went there was standing room only. Great bar food as well. It can definitely get hot in the bar though as the doors are open frequently and they have so many floor to ceiling windows. Sometimes it can be difficult to get a servers attention especially when they're really busy. Overall not a bad bar to go to catch a game! read more

After going here 2 weeks ago, I said to my SO that we can never ever return because the fries were the best I've had since Belgium many years ago and I couldn't dare to hope they could repeat the perfection. However, we returned today and, while not 100%, I'd give them a 95% rating -- still way better than most places. I attribute the difference to it being very busy, and the waitress was also the bartender this time (short staffed?), so maybe the food didn't come out quite as fast as last time. Additionally, the burger was excellent last time, and the steak and cheese was equally as tasty this time. Both times the wait staff was friendly. Dare I try a trifecta on delicious fries? I would like to preface this review by stating that I only got takeout from here so I can't speak about the in-dining service or experience. I ordered a Rosemary grilled chicken sandwich and it was really excellent! I was in the mood for a hearty grilled chicken sandwich with good-quality fries, and it hit the spot. It was flavorful and I really liked the sauce. I have passed by here often as I live nearby, and it is often pretty full, especially in the evenings. There's a nice outdoor patio to eat as well, which allows dogs. I'll preface this review by saying that this is a sports bar and so it's on me for coming here on a Saturday night during March Madness. My boyfriend and I came to Quinn's around 8pm and sat outside. They have plenty of seat your self outdoor tables and cute lights but no heaters. I ordered the turkey club and my boyfriend got the taco salad. It took 40 minutes for our food to come out, which was odd because neither were difficult orders and it didn't seem like they were packed. When the food did arrive it was fine but definitely overpriced. The turkey club was just on regular sliced white bread and fell apart bc it was too big to actually bite, and there wasn't much chicken in my boyfriend's salad. Everyone around us was trashed (again, March Madness) and the person in line before me for the restroom threw up next to the toilet. So if you're looking for a place to drink I guess this is it - although the drinks aren't even that cheap. Maybe if the weather had been warmer and I came during lunch I would have had a different experience. read more

This local restaurant bar definitely has the vibe of a college frat hang out. However, the food is actually is a surprise with its high quality and food presentation. The food was good and the server tried to be helpful, but even before we said hi, she seemed liked she wasn't having a good day. We were her first customers. The lukewarm coffee tasted like a triple-shot of expresso. I asked for an extra hot, half cup of water to dilute and got a full cup of barely warm. We were looking for a local place to support during COVID-19 and my boyfriend and I were extremely excited about Quinn's menu. We had to keep ourselves from ordering too much! They definitely do a good job of updating the delivery apps and some other businesses neglect to do that, which causes frustration when we're anticipating our order. We ordered the grilled chicken rosemary sandwich, the Big Hurt Burger, a basket of tots and fries, and funnel cake fries. They definitely did not disappoint, but it's difficult to experience the real meal without trying it in person. Of course the delivery aspect brought down the quality of the food a little bit, and I'm unable to speak to the quality of the service or the atmosphere, but I am definitely eager to recommend and try Quinn's on the Corner again. The funnel cake fries were delicious, and I think I prefer them over regular funnel cake lol (it would be awesome if there was an option to add strawberry sauce instead of chocolate). read more

Came in for a weekend with a few friends, and I was really disappointed by my experience. We all graduated college over five years ago, but we were denied service repeatedly for looking too young. The manager, Roger, even got involved and insisted that we leave the premises. I'm not upset that we got carded, it's the law. But I am upset that I was repeatedly accused of lying. Roger kept escalating the situation and kept speaking over us. It was a super unprofessional and it felt pretty personal. Service: Nick was amazing!!! He was very helpful with the menu and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Food: I got the breakfast burger. 9/10. It was so good to me. I could not eat it with my hands so I used a fork and knife judge me if you want lol. Anyways I took out some of the onions because there was a lot and added some ketchup. It was delicious. I would come back here again Drinks: I got the cranberry juice with the $1 champagne. I would definitely recommend getting one to share and if you need a second one then order it. My friend and I got one each and it was way too much for us. I got mine with cranberry and she got passion fruit. I ended up liking it most when I mixed both of them. arrived late in the evening in DC and staying at a hotel nearby. their advertised hours claimed they were open until 1am. so a weary, hungry, thirsty couple walked from our hotel the two blocks to Quinn's to walk in the door at 11:10 pm. the bartender immediately informed us that last call was 10 minutes ago, but kindly allowed us to order a drink anyways. grateful to get our drink order in, we asked for menus as several patrons sitting at the bar had some tasty looking dishes they were finishing up. but the bartender's terse reply was that the kitchen had already closed and had been closed for some time, making it clear there were no second chances on food. my spouse and i finished our drinks and wandered back to the hotel to dine on whatever snacks they sold at the hotel front desk. both of us wondered why did Quinn's advertise they were open until 1am if there are no drinks or food to be served for 2 hours? read more
