Tom came out to talk water and boy, does Tom know water! As we started to talk about the house, where our water comes from and what we were primarily interested in Tom was doing tests of our water. He was very efficient in the testing and explaining the results. Our new home in Castle Pines was built with an instant hot water unit, which was all new for us. And from some other companies we talked to at the garden and home show told us that you definitely need to put a soft water unit in for the tankless (primarily for the warranty). As it turns out, Tom gave us a measurement of 3 for hardness which is very good and he told us we do NOT need to install a soft water unit. BONUS! We also talked about other minerals and pH in our water. And it was nice to hear we have really good water here. He did leave a flyer and a quote for a RO (reverse osmosis) drinking water system if we ever decide we would like to go that route other than just getting drinking water from the refrigerator. I would highly recommend anyone who is curious about their water quality to contact them and talk through what you might need or what you want.

We discussed our needs and family size, and it was refreshing when he recommended the lower cost solution for us instead of trying to upsell us something we didn't need. He'll be very honest about what will make you the happiest with your water. The system works great and made a noticeable difference with the hardness of our water. I called Jump to fix a control Transformer and was pleased to get a same day appointment…read more Adam showed up on time and proceeded to diagnosis the issue. His expertise noticed a couple of installation errors , one of them was related to the control transformer. He was able to fix and completely remove the failing transformer and utilize the furness control panel instead, nice clean solution as the manufacture intended. The other installation error was causing condensation to not exit correctly and was leaking water that was rusting the front wall pan. I was unaware of this and was looking at having to replace a 4 year old furness if the rusting was to proceed or had already damaged the integrity of the wall. Adam checked the wall out and concluded that the heating element integrity was still good and the wall had not been compromised to the point of furness replacement. Without Adam's knowledge and skills I would be in a bad spot in the near future from the poor installation. I'm very pleased and happy with the outcome, thanks to Adam and do recommend JumpHVAC.

Received a flat quote of $89 for 25 checklist items that they would check and inspect. I guess I misunderstood the term maintenance service versus diagnostic quote. The tech spent less than 15 min at my house to come up with 3 possible (not definitive) solutions for cause of ac smells. Then emailed me one of them pretty much saying I needed to replace my whole vent system. No actual work was done on thìs visit . Even the ac cleaning would needed to be a separate appointment and charge. So just be cautious n aware of what service you're looking for.
