I ordered the Corn Coffee, which was rich and unique, with sweet creamy corn blending perfectly with Vietnamese coffee. I also tried my sister in law's Banana Matcha, which was smooth, refreshing, and well-balanced without being too sweet. A highlight of my visit was meeting the owner when she came out to the front to check in on guests and made sure everyone was enjoying their drinks. She's in her thirties, incredibly passionate and talented when it comes to coffee, and such a genuine, kind-hearted person. went to qyn coffee a handful of times and it was hitting every single time. the drinks are incredibly refreshing and delicious. i go back for pandan oat matcha which is fireee btw! the service is great fast and kind! however there was one time i waited for my drink for about 30minutes because i didn't hear my name get called and turned out someone else took my order. i kind of just watched everyone after me get their drinks and i was standing by the bathroom patiently waiting because they were busy and no one else was ordering matcha so when no one was whisking my matcha i just waited patiently bc i thought it just took longer to make. so when i realized that no one was making my drink/ whisking matcha, i went up to them and they quickly made my matcha. uhhh im not gonna lie the drink that time wasn't good. it felt rushed and there were so much ice i only got a few sips from it. like i know how good qyn can make it and that time it just disappointed me. other than this experience its pretty good! the ambience feels nice, seems like a good study spot or a good place to just chatter. read more

The ambiance and aesthetic is so cute! It has a very calm and serene feeling when you walk in. Both visits, we did a mobile order and the drinks came out in a timely manner and I love that they keep it cool in their mini fridge until you arrive! The staff is friendly - both visits was a girl barista with glasses. She was sweet! My boyfriend ordered the salted egg coffee with less sweet and I ordered the biscoff strawberry matcha! I love that they make the matcha themselves and keep it in a separate container and you can pour to mix it yourself upon arrival. The biscoff was just the cookie on top, I could not taste it in my drink, but the strawberry matcha itself was amazing! 10/10- not too sweet and not too strong. Perfect balance. My bff got vanilla. It's sweet but you can ask for 50% or whatever you like less sweet. The menu is huge and colorful, I mean colorful. Qyn coffee, such an adorable, clean and serene atmosphere with the ambiance of peace, calmness, and coffee chat vibes. Tables to sit and enjoy your latte. A few munchable treats to go with the menu. I was nearby at the sauna spot and saw this place having their soft opening! Upon seeing the menu, I knew I had to try it out. I got both the Coco Matcha Crema and the Biscoff Espresso, but I had my eyes on so many other ones that I want to try out next time! The coconut matcha tasted like my favorite Harmless Harvest coconut water mixed with matcha, which is exactly the combination you'd want. The biscoff coffee at first was pretty bland, but after mixing it with the cookie, the flavor finally popped out. Next time coming here, I'd probably get the Coconut Bac Xiu! read more

It was such a strong coffee but in the tastiest way! - Corn coffee: sounds odd but delicious if you like corn (which I love!) it balances out so well - Pandan oat matcha: you can actually taste the Pandan to matcha ratio! - ube coffee: hooooly strong! Got to the counter and ordered an iced matcha latte with an added cream top. It was a customized drink so.. iced matcha latte ($6.50) + soy milk ($0.75) + cream top ($1.25) which made the drink total a whopping $8.50. I get it, a boutique coffee shop is a pretty penny these days.. though the drink just didn't justify $8.50. The team member taking my order barely smiled or said a word. QYN's located in a plaza with a bunch of other businesses so parking can get a little dicey during rush hour, so be wary of that. I had just gone paddle boarding at Back Bay and usually my go-to for coffee after is Keans, but I wanted to try something new. This place is completely different from Keans, which is more about simple drinks where you can appreciate the high-quality beans and roasting. Qyns had very elaborate and dessert-like drinks with cold foam of different flavors. So many of the flavors sounded amazing but I ended up getting tiramisu. New place on the block alert! Stopped in after my perspire sauna session, said "soft opening" on the door so of course, I had to try! It so trendy and relaxing in here. Minimal tables, some students on their laptops. And an extensive menu of everything matcha!! I got the strawberry matcha biscoff with oat milk $8. Solid Vietnamese coffee shop. Probably one of the best in the area around Costa Mesa because the coffee is dark and not too milky. It's hard to find real Vietnamese coffee in the area because either they make it so small like the size of a shot glass (in a larger cup) or if in a regular cup, it's too sweet or milky with a ton of ice. Went to the grand opening today. I was too late for the freebies, but they were giving out tote bags and reusable travel mugs. I ordered the biscoff latte with 50% sweetness. I'm usually a black coffee or americano guy, but I liked it a lot. The cookie on top was nice to start, and I could really taste the coffee in the drink (a lot of coffee places like this put so much stuff in that you can't taste the coffee). I like that they have hojicha options, in addition to matcha, coco, and coffee. I tried my wife's pistachio hojicha latte and that was really nice. Personally, I would have toned down the sweetness. I'm glad they give the options of 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% sweet. $6.50-7 is a really reasonable price for drinks that are as complex as what you get here. Really enjoyed Qyn Coffee. The space is beautiful, calm, and intentionally designed without feeling overly trendy. It's the kind of place that works whether you want to sit for a bit or just grab something to go. What stood out to me most was that the drinks felt a little more interesting than usual. I tried the hojicha latte and that was the standout for me -- smooth, balanced, and well made. My friend got the coconut bạc xỉu and was very into it as well. They also have spirulina cold foam drinks, which I honestly haven't seen anywhere else before. The greatest drink ever is here and I highly recommend it: raspberry hojicha latte! I got mine hot since it sounded perfect for the cloudy morning. I came during their soft opening in the morning. It wasn't super busy when I came. The music itself sounded like lo-fi study music, and there's multiple outlets along the benches if you needed to charge something. The inside isn't super large, but there's a few tables to sit at. Really liked the natural-looking theme of the furniture and overall vibe. I ordered the ube flan coffee (large) and the spirulina matcha latte. It took ~5 minutes to get the drinks. I wasn't sure what to do with the flan in the middle of my drink, so I broke it apart with the large straw they gave me and stirred. I thought the coffee had a good mix of sweetness and bitterness, though it seemed somewhat...acidic? I'm unsure what beans they are using, but I'm hopeful that they will improve the drinks once they fully open. I'm just happy it was strong and not overly milky. As for the matcha, they nearly filled it to the top. I'm not too sure what flavor the spirulina top is, or what they sprinkled on top (coconut flakes?), but the matcha has a dark green hue and tastes how matcha should taste like.
