We were right down the street since we were coming from UCI I ordered the banana Vietnamese coffee and GIRL, it was phenomenal. So many times I passed by this place, but finally got to try it! What caught my eye was the Cookie Butter Matcha Crema! Unfortunately, the only thing that made it cookie butter was the biscoff pieces on top. Other than that, the entire drink just tasted like a regular matcha latte with sweet cream. In need of a pick me up and this miracle happened to be in the same plaza where I had lunch. I wanted matcha but when I saw hojicha on the menu I had to get it. We arrived around 1:35 PM and there was no line, aside from one other customer. The shop is conveniently located near the Amazon Fresh plaza with plenty of parking available. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff. The decor is very chic with earthy, cozy vibes. Our drinks were ready in about 5-7 minutes. Even before tasting the matcha, the vibrant color told me it was going to be good--and it absolutely was. The flavor was perfectly balanced: not too sweet, not too creamy, and made with high-quality matcha. There's plenty of seating for a quick hangout, which is a plus. It's one of the little businesses in the large shopping center right off the 405. There's plenty of parking. The inside has a few tables and there's an outdoor seating area as well. They have free WiFi so it could be a nice place to get some work done. I ordered a black sesame Vietnamese coffee. The black sesame came as a cold foam top and was creamy and sweet. You can also order your drinks with less sugar or various levels of ice. For no ice it is an extra charge though. The Vietnamese coffee was rich and delicious. It had that nice bold flavor and very strong for the first few sips I had but as the ice melted and the cream top was mixed in it was so good. The foam balanced the strong coffee perfectly and the caffeine kept me going the whole day. I'm curious to try their matcha drinks next time as those seemed pretty popular. read more

I typically prefer my matcha less sweet, so I ordered 75% sweetness and it was perfectly balanced for me. It came out to about $9.50, but the portion size was noticeably larger. They don't overfill the cups with ice anyways so that's nice. The total cost was $20.15 for my drink and my boyfriend's drink.
