What an actual treat Dex coffee is. I must say that they're different combinations like orange cream top and Asian pear is something that drew me to their location to begin with. I almost chickened out and got my typical coffee order, but I thought to myself one in Rome. I landed on the orange einspinner. Not only isn't it gorgeous coffee drink, but it's something that you don't typically have often, with a fresh orange notes that perfectly pair with a strong espresso beans it's an actual delight. Finally got a chance to check this place out since it's nearby. There was a bunch of people just studying and relaxing which was pretty cool. Luckily there was no line on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Dex matcha delight with oat milk and less ice. I like how strong the matcha drink is, but you can still taste some of the cinnamon. For the price of the drink it's a bit sad how much you get. It makes me wonder how much ice they use by default and how that could really dilute the drink. I also got the vanilla latte which was pretty good and strong. Same story with the amount you get. I posted some photos as a reference after just taking a sip to try both drinks. Staff was nice and the interior was clean. Parking is spacious and was not much of an issue. Overall, this is place is about a 3.5 star for me. I've been to a bunch of other coffee shops with a similar flavor profile and quality, but at a better price point. I came here to study with two friends on a Saturday afternoon. When I got there at around 2pm, it seemed pretty busy inside, but there was plenty of bar seating and outlets, which was really nice. I came here just to study and try some new drinks and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of this place! Some seats and outlets if needed, free wifi, and plenty of drink options to pick from. Hands down one of the best coffee places I have been to. Not only are staff very nice, they also know exactly what is on their menu. I hope that they will expand and open closer to where I live. Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough about how delicious the orange matcha latte I had is; I asked the barista for his favorite and he mentioned this drink so I had to try it. I loved the added orange slice on top, which made it feel extra bright and fun. If you're not a fan of orange or citrus flavors, this drink probably isn't for you. But if you do like orange, I definitely recommend giving it a try. I wanted to try the orange americano next time, but since it was later in the day I opted for matcha instead. The classic einspanner was nice, creamy, and smooth. Nothing surprising, just a solid and well-made classic einspanner. The only downside for me was the price. It felt a bit pricey for the size I got, but the quality and presentation were still good. Service was nice overall. The staff greeted me with a smile, which always makes a difference. I'm so glad I stopped by this coffee shop to check it out. The shop is located inside a busy plaza, since there's Crunch gym nearby. So, parking can be kind of tricky to find. I went here with Darlene today after lunch. She had strawberry matcha and I had banana matcha . We noticed the 4.7 star rating and had to try it. The service was friendly and very professional from the moment we walked in. Notice the presentation in this photo. There were several students studying here, so it is a popular spot. Dex Coffee is my new go-to work spot since it's so close to me and checks off everything I need in a study spot. The matcha is great. I've had both the matcha latte and the hojicha latte, and I really enjoyed the hojicha. It has a deeper, roasted flavor that is perfect for winter, and not many places offer hojicha. They don't have drip coffee, but instead focus more on lattes and einspanners. The space itself is lovely, with nice interiors, a well-thought-out layout, large tables, and cozy seating. There are SOOOO many outlets too. Pretty much every section and table has around six outlets, making it super convenient for getting work done. Wifi is free and unlimited! Justin was super friendly and even let us stay after closing at 4 PM since they're still in the soft-opening phase and training, which was really appreciated by my friends and I. The bathroom is very clean and stocked with Aesop soap and lotion (fancy!!). Parking in the plaza is plentiful. read more

Inside, they have a modern and welcoming setup with a solid amount of seating. For their menu, they have a unique selection of different signature, matcha, hojicha, coffee, and fruit tea drinks to choose from. Wifey and I stopped by for our weekend matcha run and she got the Dex Delight and I got the Pear Matcha Einspanner. We enjoyed both drinks and could tell they were made with high quality matcha. Adorable new coffee shop! The interior is so comfortable and staff are so friendly. Dogs are allowed, and they made fresh whipped cream for our dog to have the pup cup of her dreams. I got the Maple Latte (?) don't remember the exact name. I've never had Cassia chips but the drink was really good. There were a lot of tasting notes that worked really well with each other. Dex is all about precision and polish, and the Scandinavian design looks like it was measured with a laser, not a ruler. I stopped by after the gym today to grab myself a drink and my goodness it was packed today! I got the banana iced matcha and it was so good. I usually don't order banana matcha from other places because it tends to be too sweet or has that weird artificial, almost Laffy Taffy kind of aftertaste. But this one was completely different. It wasn't overly sweet, and you can tell they use fresh bananas. The flavor was really balanced with a light tropical taste, and the matcha still came through nicely without being too strong or getting overpowered. Everything blended really well together. I also wanted to mention how kind the baristas are. I was waiting outside so I wouldn't block the entrance in case other customers came in, and as I was waiting, the barista brought out my drink. Cute new shop in FV! We were recommended this spot by someone at the climbing gym and since we live so close, we thought we'd try. The interior is well-designed, and the menu is more unique than most other spots I've been to recently. My husband got the orange latte, and I got the dex delight matcha latte.
