Good coffee and fast service. The latte was made properly and the staff were super friendly!

Once a latte gets above five bucks something happens, expectations! Single origin, hand made syrups, divine blend of balance bitter notes and creamy sweet flavors, those are the established mainstream essentials for any spot aspiring to be better than Dunkin! I have twice enjoyed the inspired space here getting me far away from the dull Midwest, a huge menu boasting all sorts, plenty to pick from with fan favorites and seasonal picks, espresso seemed decently roasted and matches with the basic white girl vibes however the pricing is entirely optimistic. Greyhouse and Indie Coffee Roasters have the same issue. My large latte with soy nearly touched eight bucks which is fine for house crafted syrups and top tier bean juice. But no and also sadly again no, there are no real flavors only plastic pumps of sucrose. My latte was extremely sweet, likely hiding Starbucks quality java. Eleventh House, Sacred Grounds, Wanderlust and even the cold brew oddity that is Java House make for better quality and value. read more

My new favorite coffee spot in Lafayette! I loved the amaretto coffee when it was on special but all of their coffee is fabulous. I also tried out their French hot chocolate--and it holds true to the traditional thick, creamy sipping chocolate. They also stock Mary Lou doughnuts here! read more

Great little spot! My normal coffee shop was closed for the day so I tried this one. I was very impressed with the french theme and atmosphere. It is a great place to grab a coffee and chat with friends or get some work done. My cappuccino and donut (they sell mary lou's) totaled 6.50. Friendly staff, clean restrooms. I had time to kill while waiting for my shuttle out of town and found this place while walking down Main St. Quiet small spot with comfy chairs, I sat by the window and even the stools were comfy I wanted a flavored coffee but couldn't decide so I had the barista pick for me - delicious. My cinnamon roll was also huge and so nice, he warmed it up for me a little which made it taste so homey.... I'm back in town in a couple of weeks and you best believe I'm skipping the hotel buffet in favor of this place! read more

I try to go when I know solid baristas are working. When the coffee is good, it's really good, but it's definitely inconsistent. Some staff don't steam very well, sometimes the espresso doesn't taste the same. Would recommend ordering any drink half sweet as well. Super cute shop, enjoy sitting inside or on the patio, but don't love the gamble on the quality. read more

Got a hot chocolate, donut, and pastry. The hot chocolate reminded me of one I had in Spain that would've been perfect for dipping a pastry in. I love being able to support three of my favorite small businesses in one stop. drinks: 5 stars workers: 5 stars ambience: 5 star lived in downtown lafayette for 6 months and frequented réveille at least once a month. the menu is pretty basic (i.e., coffees, teas, the usual stuff). i always got a latte or a london fog, and occasionally ordered their special drinks. do wish they had matcha. there is also limited seating: ~4 small tables that can seat 2-3 people, a corner with two chairs and a sofa, and the window seating with ~5 chairs; i've only come across one instance of all seats being occupied overall, great place! i no longer live in indiana, and this is one of the spots i am missing right now read more

Awesome service and amazing lattes. Staff is pro, they have croissants flown in from France each week. Toasted and buttered they are amazing. K quiche (onion and potato) is excellent but don't recommend the blue cheese version. read more

What an incredible, cozy space for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. It feels like your walking into grandmas house with the mismatched chairs and incredible smells of baked goods and coffee. Enjoy your drink of choice in a giant mug and relax in this warm setting. I highly recommend their homemade drinking chocolate, super thick and made for sipping! The only thing that could make this gem better is the addition of at least one gluten free baked good for our friends who cannot enjoy the current goodies on display. read more

This has become my favorite cafe in Lafayette! There is always seating available, both indoor and outdoor. They have a bunch of cute potted plants around the cafe and there is typically some atmospheric French music playing through the speakers. They serve a standard coffee/espresso menu and also have bakery items, such as Mary Lou's donuts. They have a variety of syrup options and a few milk substitutes. The espresso is fairly good as well. The staff is always cheerful and nice, no matter what time you come in. Wish they were open later than 3pm because then it would be a hit with students at the nearby university. Can I just say how amazing it is to be able to get your coffee AND a donut or two from Mary Lou's or a chocolate croissant from Smitty's Bread all at the same place? And the atmosphere and staff here are just lovely. They even have outdoor seating now if you like a little fresh air (or have a pup that wants to come with you EVERYWHERE). this place is amazing!! i sat in here for most of saturday, got two lattes and did so much work. the two baristas that were there were so attentive, talkative, helpful and bright!! talking with them was a pleasure. the whole vibe of the interior is very dark academia, very warm and homey inside with sofa chairs and interesting decor. definitely recommend coming here!! read more

I'm a big fan of buying local and this is the only downtown coffee shop open early. Thank goodness because it is top quality! Had the french madeleine latte this morning and it tasted so good I finished it before the light at 9th and Main turned green. The Mary Lou donuts are a treat and the service is outstanding. Best coffeehouse environment in Lafayette. The owner hangs around rather frequently and the general manager is super friendly and there almost every day. You could tell a lot of thought and care goes into everything. Their espresso drinks are perfect! They use Tinker Coffee as their bean supplier and for some reason I can't get behind any of their brewed coffee- Zing and whatever light roast they have around is usually pretty funny tasting. read more

The soy coffee latte today was delicious, but the taste varies widely from day to day. I would have given this review five stars, but the barista on duty at 7:30 this morning (7/27/22) was rather unfriendly. I have a hearing disorder, and I asked that the music should be turned down. Instead, I was told that I was sitting underneath the speaker and should move places, and so my friend and I went to a table outside to deal with the humidity and flies Please allow me to say that nobody really needs music early in the morning anyway, especially the amplified guitar kind that was on. If you want to play music, then put some string quartets or something more civilized on the system. Thank you. read more
